Just ordered mine! I've never had a working breed before and my new boy is a GSD/mountian dog mix. I wanted something that won't hurt his throat with how strong he is and make him easier to handle as he doesn't tolerate harnesses well, plus his breed doesn't look right in pet shop collars. Got him a "ask to pet" patch as he's socially anxious and the handle so I can manage him around guests. Very excited.
My dog has a 18 inch neck..boxer. the collars. Is 18 inch adjustable from there or is 18 inch the highest adjusted all the way out?? Hope that's not confusing

Would you know how the LandSharkSupply collar compares? Very similar and also made in USA. I have a 94 lbs GSD and trying to decide which to go with. 1.5” vs 2”?
I’m unfamiliar with that brand. I do have both a 1.5” and a 2”. I prefer the 2” personally. Especially when doing bite work or anything else that is gonna include back pressure due to the wider service area so it doesn’t put as much pressure on the throat.

I have a maligator. And a pitweiler. Both have had this collar. Both of them hated it. It was convenient for me, but they just fought to get it off of them constantly. I picked up the Excellent Elite Spanker collars for them- i dont think they even know theyre wearing it. And i still get a handle in case they brain fart when they see some hot bitch on walks.

I like the latest Cobra clip with the D ring built into the actual clip. The lead brings the clip to the top leaving just the collar material at the bottom protecting the dogs neck better.
I just ordered a K9 tactical collar. Seems to be the same quality. Other than the name is on a patch. And it’s like $10 cheaper. But it doesn’t have a grab handle.
I’m sure it will do just fine. I have found though that there is definitely a quality difference in the build when you spend a little more though. I do a lot of bite work so there tends to be a lot of pressure on the collar when working and I need that type of quality to ensure I’m not going to have any breaks. Leathers good but I don’t like the look lol
Yes I was born with a cleft lip and palat! Still living life to the fullest though! Contact sports growing up and now working with police K9s and enjoying every second of it 😃. I hope Jax enjoys the collar Kyra loves hers. When I take it off her she will nudge it or grab it and bring it until I put it back on her.
I just got one in the mail right now after having a bull run flag version for 2 years. The tactipup is way thinner and has no padding. But if it’s the name brand it must be good so time will tell, I’ll update this comment if I remember to.
Not familiar with bull run. Kyras still using the same collars for bite work, dock diving etc and they’re still holding up! I hope you have a good experience with it.

What size did you get? The sizes go by .5 inches so is still adjustable?
I honestly can’t remember which size I got. I measured her neck and went by that.
