Bombino i think was inspired by a guitarist from the california's 70 s, John Cipollina, and the Quicksilver messenger service. mixing it with touareg music and ideals was great
+Paolo Avanzo As i read in Wikipedia : '' While living in Algeria and Libya in his teen years, Bombino and his friends watched videos of Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knopfler and others to learn their styles. ''
+Syphax pero que falta de respeto... Que no escuchas las notas clásicas del desierto, que no escuchas las notas orientales? cómo comparas a un músico de Medio Oriente con uno de California? es en serio? jaja Escuchas? Puede escuchar?? Gringos... Pragmáticos hasta la insipidez...
+Alessandro Russo i am just taking a guess here, but i think its some kind of water/gourd drum (dont know specific name). i think its this drum i've seen in another band where its like a bowl-shaped gourd half filled with water, and then a slightly smaller one turned upside down on that rests on top of the water, which makes that cool deep sound. i think....somethin like that
