Scatpack Stock X Pipe Restricted? Lets see if my research paid off!!!

- Learned through research that the stock X Pipe on R/t , Scat packs, and Hellcats have about a 1 1/2 hole that crosses over, and is not a true x pipe, since the pipe is not balanced with the same banks on each side. This stock x pipe leads to the rasp/trumpet sound these cars have when we change the mufflers.
Installed the Jones Stainless 3 inch x pipe which is mandrel bent with balanced chambers. Definitely opened up and deepened the sound of the exhaust , and seemed to help performance, especially in the top end.
Link to xpipe is here:

I swear the factory x pipe def makes car quiet. I’m full straight pipe still has cats and the car is still quiet to me. I got catless mids otw but still they are so quiet even with no mufflers
Catless mids and straight pipes is loud on a 6.4. One person in my Mopar Machines of America club has that set up . But Mopars still seem less loud than other v8s with the same set up .
@@Scatty_D_392 yea the hellcats/redeyes are the loudest. The 5.7 and 6.4 seem to take a lot to make them really obnoxious. Hopefully I’m satisfied once I go catless
lol trust me when I say I’m looking forward to a quieter cabin 😂, currently running straight pipe: stainless works catless mids, race bullets and stock x pipe. I’m hoping with a corsa extreme catback with the catless mids, it’ll tone down the cabin drone a bit 😂
@@leyth707 I’m catless with full straight pipe I don’t feel like it’s loud at all in the cabin. The exhaust overall I guess is loud but not that crazy to me
Can you post a link for the x pipe? Looks like it really made a decent difference in tone :)
