Just got my MT-48 yesterday and loving it so far! It's quite a beast of an interface though so I need to get acquainted with all of the features and settings. Would love to see a video of your settings!
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff Own an Anubis…yep…sounds like an Anubis. Compressions quite transparent (and it can be VERY assertive if you want it to be), limiter in there? EQ’s solid, noise gate (better than most I’ve tried), high pass? What’s not to like! Try bus EQ and compression. There should also be parallel compression in there… the list just goes on… and all in one tiny little touch screen box. Don’t think there’s anything like it on the market. Oh and save your settings (you should have ability to make global, EQ, compression preset saves)… you’ll get lost in its capabilities…
been researching the Merging Anubis since your first video on the Neumann version, and I'm buying the Anubis Premium (384 kHz sample rate) model interface as soon as I can afford one
i got the Anubis Premium for after a lot of research and help from people whom used both, the Premium has different preamps that was the primary benefit for all… really curious if this one uses the preamps from regular or premium design ?!?
The way I see it. You can side-grade all day for a nominal fee, which is something I used to do all the time and possibly achieve a nominal gain. But to leap to a new level of quality, you have to be ready to dig deeper. I’m tired of skimping on conversion and wondering why I can’t get my sound where I’d like it to be.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff True atm i'm on the old rme babyface pro is a good little boy but i will like to try something new and see what it can do for me :)
LOL! Right! I had a client come back to me this morning to change out the dates and times in a spot I did through my Apollo and I just recut the whole ad because of how bad the old recording sounded to me in comparison.
Very much so. It's so much more detailed sounding that I feel like I'm hearing my mics for the first time. All I'm using is the built in preamp, eq and dynamics and I'm thrilled with the sound. Even playing back itunes through my headphones sounds clearer. It was time to upgrade.
Even if I use Mainstage to host native plug ins, I'm getting RTL of 4.5ms and 2.5ms output. I'm sure it's even a bit snappier without Mainstage in the chain so on it's own, you're probably looking at an RTL in the high to mid 3's.
I just thinking to upgrade to the Apollo and now you just make this video, I feel I am going to buy “trash “ with any Apollo 😂😂😂 but it’s what I can afford 🥲🤷🏽♂️
If you don’t already have an Apollo, and are already invested in their platform, the question is whether or not you’d be better served with an upgraded interface running native plug ins. Apollos are expensive and so are the plug ins, and with so many cheaper native plug ins out there that can run off your computer’s CPU rather than off outdated DSP with mid-quality conversion, is Apollo a platform with a limited future?
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff I understand what you are saying but, I just have now a simple M Audio Air ($150 bucks) I have been working with it for around 4 years aprox. it works but sometimes I listen some estrange noise in my vo, I suppose is the quality of the interface. I would like to have Mt48 interface but It is expensive. I just think to buy Apollo solo, but really new Neuman interface is excellent as you say. So, that's the reality
@@dannylocuvideo Sounds like you need an interface upgrade. I've owned a couple of M-audio interfaces and unfortunately, they wear out. Maybe take a look at the Motu or the SSL2 as well. The Apollo solo is kind of under-powered and again, the other issue with Apollo is that the plug ins are pricey, and with today's great native plug ins, there's no need to lock yourself into a single company's plugs.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff yes I’m going to upgrade it, I’m thinking about Apollo, but i have checked RME too. Apollo comes with a lot of plugins, I would not need any pluging purchase
Holy Grail....Angels sing in Harmony.....Exciting stuff Mark. Looking forward to more videos once you work your way around this beautiful piece of art
Thanks so much Bill! Definitely more to come. This thing is incredible.

I’ll definitely show my settings in the next video. Enjoy it. It’s blowing my mind.
Oh man. That looks so good-and sounds divine!
Oh yeah. It was time to kick things up a notch.

That’s a really good question. While I was waiting for mine, I read a lot about the Anubis and was deeply impressed by what people had written.
I'm going to use so much money this month B/C of you :D sounds good I'm looking forward to a deeper dive video :)

I like it brother, sounds great thus far!
Thanks Jim! And I'm just getting it dialed in. More to come...
Incredible small interface!
It's basically the size of a thick paperback book.
Hi, please comparison your interface and outboard preamp.Enjoy with new toy!
There will be a more comprehensive demo soon for sure.
Crazy situation I think the preamps sound better than a real neve 1073spx 😮 blew my mind 😢 it's soo expensive but seems sooooo worth it
So dimensional sounding. Worth every penny.
I got mine a few day ago its night and day from my Apogee Symphony Desktop, I hear so much more Its good and bad I hate all my previous work now 🤣😭

You have to review Neumann headphones
Perhaps at some point down the road.
Congrats. Do you like it more than UAD Apollo?

What is the round trip latency at 44.1 and 32 buffer?

Nice gear, but Very expensive
Very. At least there's a quantifiable difference to make me feel better about how expensive it is.
WOW!!Must be much better than Apollo!
Yes. Sonically it is miles apart from the Apollo.
A little out of the price range for most..
For sure. But as someone who months ago was ready to update my Apollos, it represents a major step up in audio quality.
