    Nice video-review!
I just finished reading this book and it left me with a bittersweet taste. Don't get me wrong, I loved it! I just feel like I could have gotten more out of it if this were a companion book to the statistics and probability course I took in college a few years ago.
This book "The Art of Statistics" makes sense of statistics under an empirical and direct approach, and I feel that, as I said, the book could have much more impact as a complement.
So, I'm planning on doing a second reading, and before that I would love to ask you: Is there any textbook you would recommend to anyone who wants to learn the contents mentioned this book (at the university degree level) that can go hand in hand with this book?

Jobs do exist but for people who really know the subject (applied math and stats). These miracle courses from udemy won't makes anyone able to get a job like these.

Are you alright bro? You sound like someone didn’t call you back. It’s ok to not get the job if the job requires experience and you have none. But you couldn’t be more wrong. I’m not a data scientist or work with statistics at this point but I work with them and I know they’re always looking for new talent. I advised my brother to pursue statistics few years ago and he’s done very well in half the time it took me to get to a six figure salary. So I don’t know where you live but you’re talking to a world audience here. I know for a fact it’s the thing to pursue at least in North America.
