    12:10 tennis is all acceleration. Andre Agassi's strength coach noticed this, he only took 3 steps in any direction and reversed a lot

    Hi coach, Love the content. Thank you. Do you do small warm-ups before your atomic speed training? You said not to do the speed training after a practice. Can we do it before the practice? I coach U8 to U14 soccer teams and we have 2 practices and a game per week.

      @@nicolasgosselin5392 No warm up required. A waste of time.
      Let the speed workout fire up the CNS and get your kids ready to play. Let it replace your warmup. Time those sprints!

    Great video! Would you recommend the atomic workout if main priority was to increase vertical jump and not sprinting speed specifically?

    @coachtonyholler hello coach, do you think all this applies to 100-200m swimmers? Should they do feed the cats even if they have to swim for almost ~2mins in competition

    • @rikophetveld364
      @rikophetveld364 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I see the 100m swim alike to a 400m sprint and the 200m swim would correlate with a 800m run.
      So I train my swimmers based on a 100m (400m run) speed focused program. Then my 50 swimmers, skip several sessions and the 200/400m swimmers add some easy endurance.
      And any speed endurance is done race specific, based on ASR principles.
      Ps, I take the swimming distances based on Long Course swimming

    May. The “sets” can be of any distance, but I like the 300. The 200-200 sets are perfect if you hope to build a 4x4 .you say you like 300m, if running 300m, how many at a time and how many breaks?

    Hi tony question about footwear for 400m training. When doing sprint work on cinder track i have been using asics gel kayano but find these clunky and hard for speed. What type of shoe should i wear for these as i have had trouble with injuries and these shoes have been recommend so am a little worried about doing lots of sessions in spikes or shoes with no support? Thanks
