    This is good and very true. My fiancé is Ghanaian and lives in Ghana. I’ve become so silent on speaking to people about my love because I realized a lot of people are ignorant. I met my man naturally in person so everyone’s dynamic is different. I found myself isolating my love life from my family bc a lot don’t understand. I do have some support but it’s hard trying to explain to them but they won’t understand unless they traveled there themselves lol but yes I don’t recommend any woman to date ldr internationally bc your wisdom and discernment needs to be sharp bc there are a lot of scammers out here. Pay attention to one’s character

    • @whereintheheardistiffany

      Curious to know, did you meet your fiancé while traveling to Ghana? Yes it will def be hard for your friends and family if they have never personally met him. I'm not opposed to dating internationally but I would say take it very slow and visit them for an extended amount of time before actually marrying them. When and where do you intend on marrying him? I have other videos on the channel about marrying Ghanaian men, feel free to watch them.

    so Jas's husband and I are third cultur. This means that in the home, we grew up in the culture of our parents, but outside the home, we are in the American culture. So we are kind of vacillating between the two

      @whereintheheardistiffany  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Traditional roles can be a stereotype but it can also be the truth. While I agree, married African women are working, there are many that still stay at home. I think it is about the individual relationships about whether they choose traditional or untraditional roles
