When Indians say Cottage Cheese in English to you, they mean Paneer in Hindi. It is not the same cottage cheese you get in America in a container. They mean a home-made soft moist cheese made in a farm cottage style. You've eaten paneer in many Indian dishes, usually in cubes. Here the cubes are chopped up to fit inside the paratha.

This paranthe wali street is the most overrated food spot in Delhi! They call deep fried dough as Parantha while Parantha is shallow fried or cooked in Tandoor! They should call it Kachori/Stuffed Puri served with curries. Secondly locals dont go to this spot, I've myself been only once n found only tourist here, it seems as if its a tourist trap hyped by tourists n vloggers.

Please stop spreading misinformation. There are various ways to prepare and cook paratha. The deep fried paratha are quite common in east part of India such as Bihar and Bengal.
Stop living in your bubble and travel your country. You'd be surprised at how different and unique food is in india.

    1) Paneer is closest to RICOTTA CHEESE or even better to PANTALICA RICCOTTA. Cottage cheese is not Paneer equivalent. In Sydney, we buy Ricotta if we don't get paneer
    2) Paranthe wali gali (Parantha lane) is famous because of its long history and unchanged menu for 100+ years. Although what they sell is not parantha but then it's also not either a poori nor a bhatoora 😊

If you really want to taste some good paranthas go to Murthal it's a hub for tasty paranthas ask your local friends about it, there you'll find some good paranthas for sure and FYI Murthal is a village in Haryana near Delhi and there are many big dhabas on the highway and you can go to anyone of them. @divertliving

When r u guys going to go in barbeque Nation (BBQ Nation) Indian buffet restaurant chain...I have recommended it quite long back...any plans??

It's not something unique to India. there are many buffet chains around the world which offer better food and services than BBQ Nation. BBQ Nation is overrated anyway.

Try Qureshi Kabab Corner at Jama Masjid. Melt in the mouth Kebabs. Parathe Wali Gali and Karims are too overrated. Try using Swiggy too. These places are very crowded and there is no experience. You could eat comfortably in your flat.
