Is there a list of artists I can listen to on TH-cam? I did a search and got two artists, both male. Talented enough but crude nasty lyrics about sex and money. 👎 Great podcast. Cheers.
Comment 2: I think there’s an issue with calling ourselves Asian. We’re Indian ethnicity. That’s our origin. Wouldn’t stating that help our artists to focus on themselves, become proud and thus get strong and rooted? Look at the success stories: Apache INDIAN, Nitin Sawhney (his works are always full if Indian soul), Cornershop (again, deeply rooted and proud of their culture & singing about it from their hearts and with a lot of soul). I suggest: The world doesn’t take us seriously because we’re not serious about ourselves. Maybe we’re weak because we’re turning our back on our roots, our origins? Western artists all say where their roots are and it’ll be England or LA or Mexico or Poland, or China, or South Korea, NEVER: Europe, North America, Asia, Eastern Europe. To quote that Indian comedian: Why are we calling ourselves a cardinal direction? It means nothing. You can’t have roots in a void. I suggest this is why the Universe is not responding to our efforts. Our hearts are not properly tuned. So: tune the heart then the voice will follow.
Apache has been in the industry for 30 plus years Toured the world Had number 1 hits all over the globe Even in Jamaica, His songs are still used in Hollywood movies and television commercials If we started to pick on artists because of their We'll have no artists Why fix it If it hasn't broke Nobody else has an issue with his name But everyone has an option.....but we respect yours 👊🏽
I was saying his name is GOOD. He’s making a statement honestly about being Indian. That’s why he’s a creative genius. There’s a problem with the Indian creativity in Britain NOT with Apache Indian who’s trying to fix it.
Wicked 🔥
