      He just has no competitive nature to him, he left osu because he was afraid of competition, he said michigan Is "just another game", and my friend over heard him when he was at a dinner mccord was at saying that osu will lose to michigan this year. You can't be great without that competitive nature.

      My buckeyes I love them but most of our fans are spoiled crazed bratz....McCord is going to have a great year next season for Syracuse... Day had no backbone, Urban would have stood by his QB and said damn the fans and thats how your QB plays with the utmost confidence and will leave it all on the field for you. The fans are so smart they wanted to play Devin Brown who was not ready and brittle as stale icing. McCord could have competed for a heisman with another year of experience...but i hope for our sake that Will howard is the answer and we don't have to watch Kyle light it up for another team and wonder what if...just like Burrow

      You guys will be getting Joe Burrow lite next season congratulations on appreciating something so many spoiled buckeye fans took for granted... as a first year starting QB buckeye fans have forgotten what a bad QB looks like...they think ever QB is gotta be CJ Stroud or better when his rookie year in the NFL proves coaching didn't do him any favors at Ohio St either. Belasari Stanley Jackson Craig Krenzel Justin Zwick Joe Bauserman those were bad QB's McCord was better than average and they treated him like garbage and his soft ass coach threw him under the bus for his own shortcomings

      Against teams like Michigan, almost everything does have to be near perfect to beat them. Vice versa too. Everyone knew the OSU v Michigan game would come down to which of those two fantastic teams would make more mistakes. At that level, any mistake at all will be fully exploited by their opponent.

      Sound like a spoiled fan... That's the problem with most of the big money schools. You need everyone and anything in order to succeed. I couldn't imagine being spoiled with a 1 loss season hell even 2 or 3 loss season and being disappointed.

    He was up and down all year but he was 35 yards away from beating Michigan. His stats are deceiving, he could’ve had 15 picks and ND safety dropped a give me interception. Ohio state could’ve lost a few guys based off his inconsistent play. Wish him nothing but the best at Syracuse

  • @frfrdutch
    @frfrdutch 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    kyle was definitely a step down from what us Ohio State fans are used to but he was still a very solid player. Ryan Day should’ve been able to beat TTUN with him and there’s no excuse for the soft play calling we saw in that game for the third year in a row.

      @jasondefelice2710 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Shermworm to be fair I didn't watch any Ohio State games, but judging from his stats and an 11-1 record I'd say he's not too bad. I'm guessing Ohio states Oline was pretty good but Miami had one of the best in the nation.. TVD had all the time in the world to throw on every one of his INTs this year. I could only imagine this dude would excel at Miami with a good running game, developing WRs with speed and a great o line. I think he would be an upgrade from what we had at Miami last year, and any minor upgrades at QB would have made a HUGE difference.. 7-5 could have easily been 11-1 or 12-0 if the QB play didn't cost us games

      @kylekozak3033 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Right, it’s not like McCord threw the passes and made them to the receivers. 🙄 Unintentionally, you’re giving McCord credit for how well his throws landed in the hands of the good receivers. That also proves that he knows how hard and how far to throw the ball because that’s how well he knows his receivers. If they were bad passes, they never would’ve made it to the receivers. How well the receivers receive the ball doesn’t necessarily cancel out the skill in McCord’s passes.

      @@kylekozak3033facts. Marv didn’t win the biletnikoff by throwing the ball to himself. The kid won 11 games and his only loss was to the #1 team on the ROAD. CJ Stroud never beat Michigan either but they don’t wanna talk about that 😬 Kyle gets too much hate I’m glad he’s going somewhere else where he’ll be appreciated

    • @kylekozak3033
      @kylekozak3033 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TK-rz6ni Thanks for backing me up on this one, man. I’m not saying McCord does a good job passing the ball just because he’s a Buckeye and I like the Buckeyes. I would give him credit regardless of his team. Of course he has made some mistakes and bad passes, but the kid is awesome with his deep passes. He’s not a bad QB by any means, neither is he the best, but he is still good. Exactly what you said is what I’m trying to tell everyone- we shouldn’t be so harsh on him. His stats were very good (QBR is 8th place, 3170 passing yards).
