撮影：April 2018　日本三大夜桜の一つに数えられる高田公園の桜。広大な内堀と外堀をはじめ、その周辺には約4,000本の桜が咲き誇り、三重櫓とともにぼんぼりの灯りに照らし出される美しさは心が引かれます。見頃の時期には「高田城百万人観桜会」を開催し、多くの屋台が並びます。また、晴れた日には標高2454mの妙高山の麓の妙高高原でも桜が咲き誇ります。
Myoko Kogen&Takada Park Cherry Blossom
Takada park is one the most famous places in Japan to experience
the blossoms at night. In the Evening the park is lit up and the
blossoms look even more spectacular.
Also known as Takada Park, its grounds feature around
4000 cherry trees which are usually at their peak in mid April.
The park is about 50 hectares in size and is located in the heart
of the city and is one of the largest parks in Japan.
The "Takada Park Cherry Blossom Festival" is held every year
from early to mid-April.

子供の頃に直江津に住んでいた。高田城の夜桜は観たことないけど、観たいもののひとつ。
いつでも行けると思っているからなかなか行っていないけど、こんなに素晴らしいなら足を運ばなきゃダメだね。
来年こそ、行きたいな。
