Do you believe that Jayson Tatum is top 5 already?
As per last season, hes in tier with Jimmy. Next season? Oh boy I cant wait
Maybe top ten and moving up.
Yep 💚 JT is only 24 and already amazing. We are seeing just the start of his greatness. 🍀🍀🍀
yes....absolutely ..top 2
Easily
The story of JT and his dad’s relationship really made me sad and upset like I get tough love and all but just feel like his dad was never really there for JT except when it came to basketball. Probably explains why JT brings Deuce everywhere with him and spends time every chance he gets with him. His mom is the real hero in his journey.
Yes JT speaks on how he wants to be the dad for Deuce that he always wanted. I didn’t include it in the doc but he definitely wants Deuce to have the childhood he wanted
@@Geneknowshoopslook up pass the rock Jay T it’s w deuce
His dad still there to this day in his life, you ain't from east st louis that shit is different there his father treated him the way life would treat him if he didn't take advantage of his opportunity.
@@StullaKingKuulyeah IN BASKETBALL. But it seems from the documentary he barely did any work, influence, or help outside of the sport. That’s what the original comment’s point was.
Dad back in the picture now. $$$
I like how he says “besides my son being born” when talking ab the best moment of his life. Acknowledging his son like that made me feel a point where him and his fathers relationship had gone full circle , I just think he wants the best for his son just because of the lack of affection his father had for him. And that’s just beautiful that he really wants the healthiest relationship w his son
100% something I failed to mention was that he wants to be the dad he always wanted
In now Jayson Tatum is ah NBA Champion Banner 18 🏆🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 let's Go
Don't think I've ever seen an athlete at his level that's as humble and down to earth as JT. If he ever leaves the Cs, I'll still be rooting for him, but I sincerely hope this is his season. Dude deserves a ring.
He probably get one this year
@spar tuchas, l totally agree with you. I cant say l am a fan of the Celtics, very neutral towards them, but l am a big fan of Jason and l hope he gets a ring soon.
@mattswift1988 Dude all our prayers are answered🎉🎉
Great documentary on Tatum. It's honestly a privilege to have a class act like that on the hometown team. He is so down-to-earth and laid back, yet underneath the will to win burns, fired by his dedicated mom, and yes, his dad. It was so touching to see Tatum tear up when he talked about his relationship with his father. Tough love is a double-edged sword, though. I would not treat my kid like that.
Idc if what Tatum's dad did "helped", not being there for your son like that is so shitty. His mom is the real hero for believing in him, and so is Tatum for battling through that adversity to make it where he is now.
Great documentary bro, I always thought of Tatum of being an AAU type guy so this really gave me another view of him. Glad to see a fellow small NBA TH-camr put in the work to make a great video, you love to see it ❤️
Appreciate the love. And yea definitely wild finding out the relationship between him and his father
It’s just tough love and Tatum might not be where he is today if not for his dad
@@ryanquigley6090 he's where he is now in spite of his dad, not because of it. If his mother wasn't there to give him the actual support he needed he'd never have made it. That isn't "tough love", that's giving your child a complex.
@@bigbyrdballin Mom didnt put ball in his hands, Dad did. Trained him till he was 14.
@@Ashish1984 exactly I never understand why people want moms to be celebrated so bad.
Having talent is quite a gift but his hard work allowed him to get to where he's at-- so inspiring. Glad such an amazing dude is a Celtic (they need him lol)!
Facts his talent and hard work is unmatched
That 2018 series was crazy. Rookie Tatum kicked Bucks out of Playoffs with Middleton playing.
It was a special run by Boston
Being from the Lou ain’t no joke only the strong make it , This inspiring keep goin Gene💯
Facts the Lou make you stronger. Thank you Supreme
Superb Documentary my guy!! Jayson Tatum is definitely the future of the NBA alongside Luka, Jokic, and Giannis! Keep up the great content bro, you just earned a fan!
Appreciate that alot. Tatum has a great career ahead of him
I have so much of respect for JT and mum , what a sad but beautiful story, nothing was easy
Nothing at all
JAYSON TATUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don’t like how his father treated him. Tough love can be important in raising a child but I feel like his mom’s version of tough love was much better & more impactful. I’m glad that he took that energy & turned into something positive for himself. It also seems that he’s taking the opposite approach with raising his son! He’s just gonna keep getting better! I hope he has a great, long lasting & healthy NBA career.
Loved the documentary. I was a huge Celtics fan in high school (rondo was my fav player). When I was in college starting in 2014, I didn’t keep up as much with basketball because I didn’t have time. This was a great summary of Tatum’s first few years on the team as I didn’t pay attention as much then, so this was a great recap and very helpful. Man, Tatum really deserves the ring this year! The whole team does! I love their chemistry. Tatum talking about his dad made me tear up
I’m happy you enjoyed the documentary
Thank you for this documentary. I just realized that Tatum has that mamba mindset. He's such an inspiration. Wish him all the success
Appreciate the feedback
This was amazing bro. Keep up the good work
Thank you 🙏🏾
See he was the one too say we did it, we did it!! This was a great stroy and I am happy to he a Boston Celtics fan, and im happy that we picked him in the draft!!! 🍀🍀
extremely well made really puts into perspective this young star
Happy you enjoyed it!!!
upgrading Dennis into derrick white the most underrated the Celtics did that season, energy indeed shifted
Very true
I am so proud of you JT! You made it brother, despite all the struggles. I am glad your mother encouraged you to work very hard. I am glad you turned your father’s kind of support into fuel to push yourself and improve your game. Find a different way with your son though. 👌🏾 And always know you can ball out on the court whether you have a fresh cut or not! 😂
Facts
When he said he seen Bron 90 percent of people would of said I gotta pass the ball The Boy said "I gotta Dunk It." 😤
Different breed
This is a seriously awesome outtake on his life. Thank you for making it easy to understand Jayson's journey. Your video editing deserves more credit!!
Appreciate this a lot HK
That's some great work. Keep hustling. "I got you today Kob..."

Watching this video is an eye opener, to think what he went through in life, people still hate on him, one reason jealously, not only hes so good looking, hes talented too, love and praise for u JT😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Wow, I’m late to watching this video. Great production sir, you did an awesome job in this! 🔥🔥🔥
I’m appreciate that a lot
Amazing Video bro, keep up the work
:)
Thank you Luca
You've been coming from a long long way and working so hard fought all kind of adversities and now to get where you're at its time to show the world that you are one of the great also.
I saw Jayson play in a tourney hosted by my high school his senior year, they ended up drawing us in the final. This man floated around the court and dropped a quiet 40-ball on us-at one point he pulled up at half court: nbn
Yea he was different in high school
Great documentary💎
Thank you 🙏🏾
Jason you are such a wonderful young man and l can see your pain is deep.
It seems like while your mother was growing you to be a man with strong values your dad's only focus was building a man with net worth.
You be a great dad to your son so he will have a good blueprint to follow.
Your mom is the best and so is her son.
I appreciate this page what a nice narrative video appreciate you G you deserve more subscribers! Y'all make this guy paid!

Saddest part of the video 😢
Huge fan! Honestly think if he had a good to great finals we would have won. Bench stunk, but JT was just worn down and the warriors played D. I'll say this though. I see a guy who is going to take that experience and take it to another level. I smell banner 18.
Watching this in the future is different
wow Gene Knows Hoops
His dad one of my top 5 players in St.louis. He was definitely a beast..
Factsss
Is he as good as Tatum? Shouldn't hate on his son so much clearly traumatized him a little. Difference between being an asshole and tough on your kid and teaching them discipline
Real Talk... I use to volunteer at an elementary school's career day program for years. When kids would say what they would like to be, I would never tell them they couldn't be or do something. However, I would ask them what's their A-Plan, B-Plan and C-Plan. Meaning that whether they succeeded at playing ball or something to that nature, there is life after it's over. Also, if along the journey they decided to pivot in another direction, they would have a plan already in place. By the way, I saw Tatum's teammate Jaylen Brown play in high school and it was evident he was heading to the NBA. Keep Dreaming !!!
That’s amazing never shut down a kids dream
Great vid bro you had some really interesting shit in here but the only thing I can give you advice on is the delivery in which you tell us all these interesting facts. I feel like all the clips and editing in these vids are really great and cinematic. It’s just it kinda takes from the immersion when you tell us things with almost a scripted tone. But anyway I’m a JT fan now
No not Justin Timberlake
Interesting thank you for the feedback. Will definitely work on that
My MVP...so
A Bruh we can make any race of people😮that’s crazy he can pass for anything.😂
awwwww
☘️🍀💪🏿
I understand the dad you always gotta focus on what’s next and don’t settle with what you have always strive for more and that helped his son get to the nba
Very true, definitely made Tatum better
His dad was such a good dad that he let his son an his mother get evicted...way to help out former professional player!'
They always sell the mother as stronger in our communities. This boy was lucky to have that dad. He has sold out dad gor the single mom story they promote on our kids. They avoid the great dad story like the plague with our kids. always have and we need to see past that bs
hi!
Hey
MVP....MVP...MVP!!!!!!!! get banner 18 and beyond with this "kid"
edit: kid = baby G.O.A.T.
He still got to bring to Boston the 18th championship!
Needs to
He did
Crazy how Tatum really is the #1 pick of that draft class. Boston just wanted to get an extra pick knowing Philly or Lakers werent gonna get em
Man they played both of them
@@Geneknowshoops crazy. Philly was fighting for Fultz lol
@@Tmartinez114 mannn
how did this video predicted that Tatum is going to be a champion at 26 when this video was uploaded a year a ago?
this guy should replace NBA "analysts" for being wrong about celtics and this dude being right
he switched the title
I understand what his dad was doing, but he also messed up by making it all about basketball.
Bro what Tatum interview is that
Which one?
The Celtics traded down not up. They traded back because they knew the other two weren't taking Tatum. You posed it as them trading up to get him but they traded back, so the point you make at that point doesn't follow. That said I love Tatum and this is a cool documentary.
Thank you for the correction but appreciate it 🙏🏾
Huge celtics fan here over 50 years..so I witnessed the best players in the world.
Jason..is not a top 5 player yet. Still has to be lot more consistent..n that's alright. He has lots of time left. Far as last years finals are concerned.. Jason. Had a hurt shooting wrist..it dampened him tremendously..not making any excuses for him.think!@ the whole team
Hit the preferble..wall. if they had won game 4.. of the. N.b.a finals.. they would have been up...3 games to 1..n I think! Golden state.. would have been done..
We were controlling them in game 4..had a 6 point lead at home. Just way to many turnovers. we gave the warriors. Wayyyyy. To many second n third chances at the basket..n against a very..talented..n championship tested squad..it just wasn't enough..we had the championship.right in the palms 🌴 of our hands. But its ok..EXPERIENCE!!!!
will teach us..what we will have to do
We've picked up a few new pieces of
What we think! Will help us tremenfously..throughout a very long
Season..
Skip to 23:32 for the poster on Bron… You’re welcome.
i played against him in middle school and i knew he would be in the nba then, by our sophomore year i thought he would be a better version of paul george
Yea he was insane from a young age
Damn great comparison with Paul George.... Dude got that Kobe in him...
Lou are living in two countries in Africa Kenya and Uganda
All this time I never knew he was from the Lou. Forgive me. I live in O'Fallon IL and there is a clip of him doing his thing in our gym. He's a great guy, but I'm a Brooklyn, NY dude and we don't like Boston. Come to the Knicks bro.
Small world, I’m for O’Fallon I was actually at that game
