This is the best version of Venom I've ever seen. I seriously got goosebumps. And I really like this new Peter. It all looks so good, and I can't wait to play it.
I said this on a previous occasion but I really recommend also watching the cutscenes of the games Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man Edge of Time to get to know more of the Spider-Men from different worlds and to also learn more villains and characters in general in the Marvel universe.
Now that you've dove deep into Cutscene/Gameplay movie edits, you got a ton of great things to watch now. The past 20 years, games have be shot well, 15 years ago, they've gotten sharper, 10 years ago, much more cinematic, and the last 5 years, the best looking graphics, style composition, storytelling and acting that rivals animated and live action films and TV. For Insomniac Games, (like Naughty Dog), they alone cover the gambit of what i've mentioned with: Disruptor (Their first game... it used live action CD rom footage, a product of it's time lol) Spyro 1 through 3 (Polygon animation, short and sweet, but very much a game... my first games) Ratchet & Clank (Early 2000's CG and humor to Pixar Level looking stories and direction) Resistance (Sci-fi War Stories and first M rated material) Fuse (Yeah, no remembers that... the early version "Overstrike" seemed like Team Fortress/Overwatch, but single player) (A bunch of little VR games) Sunset Overdrive (Where they started to get really stylized and realistic) Spider-Man and Wolverine: (They're best looking and told content to date)
The reason why Peter seems the same age as Miles is because in the first game on ps4 he had a different face model that looked older and matured but they changed it on ps5 version because of better facial expressions and it looks a lot more like his voice actor.
The new model does not look like Yuri at all and he's not even close to Yuri's actual age. Pete is 25/26 in the game and Yuri is 52. The face model and voice actor for Peter is not the same.

Pete is still a mentor and person that miles looks up to in the game. He's been spiderman for 8/9 years but that only puts him at his mid twenties when it comes to age. Peter in spider-verse had been doing the job a good bit longer than that.

He's 38 years old--he's been Spider man for 22 years and Peter was bitten when he was 16. 8:11 Isn't that because they introduced a muscular guy with a knife first? When Kraven entered the picture, he towered over that guy, so yeah, he did look much more massive at the time, and he probably still does. We had someone to reference him too in that first teaser trailer, but not in this picture you're looking at now--scratch that! look at the person on his right. Kraven is a big guy in the comics too, not like Hulk or Venom big, but much bigger than lean Peter Parker.
I heard that Harry might be the new Venom in this series rather than Eddie Brock (better in the recent movies, more comic accurate in the Spider-Man 3 film).
They have to tell a new story to make it more intense and as a surprise for the game. They can’t put the same story all the time; it’s already obvious and predictable.

One of the other things I hope for is that Danika from the last game Spider-Man Miles Morales will be back and will have a bigger role than just her Danikast. Playstation stopped making PS4 games now. Moving forward, you have to get a PS5. On PS5, you can still play PS4 games. But you need a PS5 to play all the new games now.

The thing here is: Time. A game has waaaay more time to put a better story together, than a movie. Cause movies barely go above 1 hour, they are designed to be eaten in less than 2 hours most of the time, thats not enough time to tell a story with multiple villains. But a game? a game has dozens of hours for it.
This game along with Miles Morales and Spider-Man Remastered, are the perfect example that we, as consumers, should not accept studios trying to sell AAA games at full price, with just 30fps on the new generation consoles. It's simply outrageous!!! Both first and second games came with a great variety of options for tweaking the graphics and performance settings (and an option for Ray-tracing with 60fps!?!?).

It’s way more acceptable to have a huge set of villains for a game that’s probably around 17-20 hours in length where a movie with more than 2 villains with a run time of 2 1/2 hours just feels insanely jumbled together (not all, but most of the time).

The last shot of venom is 30 fps. It's fidelity mode... Something tells me the rest of the trailer except for a few shots of their suite was on performance RT but that last shot definitely had a frame rate drop when he finally screamed. Or they are still adding some final patches to the game... We will know when it comes out... It sure isn't looking that good and giving 60 fps at the same time for sure.
