The Cloud thing is funny too, because in Tour, the cloud actually stays in one spot, but I guess the devs thought "That'll be too easy. We need to add some difficulty to the track". Also I guess they built the cloud's motion with regular races in mind because with up to 12 people flying in that section, at least one person is gonna hit that cloud, giving you that shortcut free!
recent versions of the wr on mk8dx records channel show it using a modded game that also shows ghosts at full opacity. but yeah, ingame you won’t see it
Yeah, the ghost doesn't interact with course objects like coins to the bridge doesn't show up. IMO that should be fixed, you can't even see how close they are to the edge
Dang your pb well clears the Worldwide tops I got on day 1. I had a lot of fun using alternate strats (well, not like we knew what the best one was yet) that made getting 2 coins from the glider or the final batch a non-issue. In fact, I miss the first coin of the run. Oops. Track is definitely rewarding to learn though!
@@KimchiBS123 no not really I just think that the design is super boring. I think it might be because I haven’t played the yoshi games. I only played the first one for a little. When the dlc for wave four came out I was super upset that it wasn’t a 1 lap track
It would be way to short for a one lap track with the current layout, but I think they could've easily made the track longer and explore more around the island. And the question mark block seems cool, but is very inconsistent, but you lose so much time if you don't hit it you have to take the path

They should have made it behave differently depending on whether you're in Time Trials or in actual races!
I think they could do middle ground, keep it moving but buff the cloud to be larger

Is it faster to hold the Ultra mini turbo after the shroom cut and do some regular vectoring (without motion glider)? Maybe worth testing
In his pb he does normal vectoring already
It's a shame since I everything they did with the track, but the Winged Cloud is so hard to hit

do the red boards not show up in replays? in the WR version they were floating on nothing as they took the shortcut 💀💀💀💀

the question block is the same as a coin or itembox it would need to be reset in the replay so it is skipped.

@@Bayesic The track is just so insanely polished. No dodgy tricks, and actually enough coins to have backup coin options in races.
I feel like this course has the whimsy and psychedelic nonsense that Sweet Sweet Canyon should have but doesn't.
