A R Rahman, k j yesudas, spb, hariharan , Shankar mahadevan all South Indians... who have sung remarkable songs in Hindi movies...
What's the issue with south indian touch ? Sonu Nigam didn't say about that I guess. He was saying that the singer was a bit rushing with the song..and Farah Khan said that the touch was beautiful.

Sonu Nigam is known as the Golden Singer of Karnataka for a reason. So plz don't act smart when you know nothing about sonu nigam and including whole south India in it.
That's how one should mentor, this is not finding fault, it is a learning. In these shows, this is how the judges should be, like mentors and educate them at the time of performance so that participant should learn something and they have that fear of feedback, then only they get sharpened and shined. Feedback should not always be like "superb, outstanding, fantastic, mind blowing, jai mata di, you rock..." Sonu Nigam is best mentor and guide!! Every singer should learn how he learns, not how he sings!
