Thank you for the detailed test! My MT13S was delivered today and I am delighted! Unfortunately, there was no macro lens included, but I will order one right away.
No fuses and none would be expected as it doesn't measure current so the inputs are high impedence inputs. Couple of circuit protectors and a spark gap.
Hey I have an singalong karaoke machine from 2002 and I can't get it to work,if I paid for the shipping cost both ways regardless of the cost, would you be willing to take a look at it?
I really want an IR camera meter. 😊🇮🇪🙏 I getting this meter . C'omon June, new meter for me . I know they have this at €80/€85 and €115/€120 depending on which version you get . The "pro" version is more. Not sure what "more" it gives you. Apart from a very slightly bigger screen.. 👍
@@snakezdewiggle6084 Somebody's got there panties in a twist; you don't happen to work for Mustool do you? Seems strange your attacking my English, when you clearly have little comprehension of the what I wrote; classic projection I'd say.
@@davidgriffin79 I guess it depends on how you treat it. My electrician neighbor brought me his almost new fluke meter a few years ago that he had cooked measuring a transformer output. What he neglected to realize was the open circuit output was much higher than he expected and he ended up with about 1100 vAC across the leads and the meter was rated 750AC 1000 DC. He was expecting it to be more like 480VAC. Meter toast, warranty void, 500 down the drain.
They may not be protecting their design. They may have done that, because they stole another design and they don't want anyone to notice that they are counterfeiting meters.
My fluke has been served at least 10 times. Always sane problem compression conductors between the switch and board, and display and board. Ever Beckman i owned failed the same way too. Looking at the board on this i would say barring dropping something on it and breaking the screen it should last for awhile. It ain't no fluke though but then it also ain't no 500.00 either but it is still quite expensive but it also has a thermal camera and for that restore alone it's great.

Thanks Mr. Dave for the review.I just purchased one of these through the link that you provided thanks much
One thing I like is it does bleep shortly when checking diodes
I like it. Nice and fast.
Yeah, no ESR? Still if it's inexpensive it's good enough for shits and giggles 😂 ☮️
Slick unit. Thanks Dave. By the way, is the meter FUSED or at least the test lead ports ?

That's interesting and good to know. I sure I'll buy this meter.
Your meter showed a MT13S, where is the MT13S Pro?
MT13S PRO vs MT13S comparisons, please?
Box said pro on it
@@12voltvids Do you want to pay & have a box saying that.
Then I can sell you a Hope Diamond box with a rock inside.
Thermal imaging cameras are getting much cheaper now. At last, every electronics workshop can have one.

I don't think they would send this to Dave Jones for a teardown :D

Where can buy this cool meter
The link IS in the description.
41:32 The thing is, a new Fluke meter will last decades; the last Mustool MM I got lasted months, and most of that time it wasn't used.

I mite be getting that meter.
I know I'm getting it. 😁🇮🇪
More goodies!
This one is kind of cool
With your skin resistance in the order of a few 100kOhms you shouldn't hold a 70kOhms resistor in your hands for a precise measurement...
Blah blah blah
@@snakezdewiggle6084 The resistor was not in circuit, I was touching only one side, so skin resistance negligible

Have you see any other meters like this?
@@12voltvids Yes, both FLIR and Fluke have been making IR camera DMMs for many years
the only problem with this meter is ,it does,nt measure current .
Neither does my fluke.
@@12voltvids my fluke does ,but saying that ,i would still purchase one ,just for the thermal alone :)
No current measurement ? so sad..!
My fluke doesn't have current either.
I'll take the Puke over some cheap Chinese junk. I wonder how long that meter will last.

Open your eyes. The Chinese devolop lots of high tech stuff that they don't steal. Lol.
