I don’t know if you all have any idea the influence, encouragement and understanding one (myself) has learned and gained more by being here listening to The Holy Spirit being spoken through such willing vessels as yourselves. It is pure joy and an overwhelming experience. Assurance that this is how and what Our Father wants it to be. Lord God I Thank You for it all, You are so ver gracious to us. Please continue to strengthen and grant us all we need for the building of Your Kingdom, we pray all of this and more in the blessed name of Christ Jesus-Amen Amen and Amen.

Great message! I really loved the bit about God’s Kingdom being at hand and compared to that our problems are not as big. For the past weeks I was overwhelmed by Problem but God was with me through it all. But reminding myself of God’s Kingdom being at hand helps me to not look as my problems like the end of the world. Thank you! God bless❤️

Thank you Alex and Lokelani! Thank you for your consistency in being used by God! Always leave feeling refreshed and renewed in my thinking, God can use us in for the mission work anywhere, be it school, church, through family friends and social media but we shouldn't I should be so closed off thinking that the mission field is the field of going to another country. The mission field is right in front of me where I'm placed and planted, I should bloom where I'm planted and do the same to others just right here. May God continue to use you both in your family and for His kingdom. ❤

God bless you two and what you are doing out in the mission field and for God's glory.
This podcast has blessed me tremendously. I'm here in the states, and it has been a light that has helped me lead a small ministry and stay connected to God's word, perspective and remain separated from the world.
I very rarely comment on anyone's TH-cam but I felt led to do so for multiple reasons. For one, I want to show you support and thank you for your service and sacrifice ( I am a father of two, one of which has special needs so I know the parental struggle, AND blessing, oil of joy it is to be Christ centered parents).
I also felt led by the Holy Spirit to reflect on something you have mentioned in a few of your videos concerning a health issue with Lokelani. You have mentioned in the past some issues with back pain. I am a 3rd year medical student (not that it matters), I say this to let you know that I have an understanding of medical issues.
It is my belief that there is more to this than a medical problem. Oftentimes spiritual things, issues of the heart manifest as physical ailments. This may or may not be the case with you Lokelani. But I would encourage you to seek the Lord about this. Your back pain may be a manifestation of emotional turmoil you are carrying from the past, potentially with rejection and other things. This is between you and the Lord so please forgive me for putting this out there publicly ( I could be very wrong). But be blessed, leave everything on the altar, other people's approval, opinions etc. The Lord in the Heavens, the earth and the Universe loves you with all His being. He created the both of you with all the love He had to give. There is no better validation than the Love of the Father. I hope this blessed you. Please forgive me if I overstepped, as this was the only way I thought I could communicate this to you. Be well fellow brother and sister in Christ. And God bless your reward and artillery (your beautiful children)! May the Lord cover and protect you all with His precious blood, in Jesus' name Amen

This is great but I’m struggling on what mine could be. I do social media with a tiny platform and I feel like I need to preach more on the gospel rather then following Christian TikTok trend style content

On 11:05 you say that there are no more apostles, however, Ephesians 4:11 (NLT) says, "Now these are the gifts Christ gave the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ."
Which apostles was Paul referring to in the above passage?

    Hey alex,
Love what you and your wife are doing in teaching us Gods word, i was curious on your statement saying “that the apostles were the only ones with that message of healing the sick, casting out demons and that there are no apostles today”
Reason why is because Jesus says in mark 16 the same command he said to them but prefaced it with, that these signs shall follow those who believe. So this “gifting” Jesus allowed the original 12 apostles to have, he is saying it will be applied to anyone who believes.
Also, there were about a dozen more apostles added to the original 12 in the new testament and many more that we do not have record of to be sure of,
The original text for apostles is apostolos which means “messenger” or “to be sent with a message”
Paul also mentions in the romans church, that some are apostles in the body, some prophets, some teachers, etc
I do think it is possible that there are apostles today no?
Curious to your thoughts though alex, thanks for what your doing man

You mentioned that there were no more apostles. How then would you interpret 1 Cor 12:28 considering Paul was not a part of the 12 who were sent out?. I would really appreciate it if you could clarify this for me. I love your videos! Thank you for being a blessing to me and my spiritual growth.

I don’t think Paul was one of the 12 disciples, yet he was called an apostle. Barnabas was also referred to as an apostle. Andronicus and Junias were called apostles, as well. I believe apostle generally means a person who is sent.

I just wanted to add something that's bothering me and I think it would make you, Alex, expand the way you put out the message. Honestly, I think you're wrong when you say that the sin that Sodom and Gomorrah was Homosexuality. That's a misinterpretation and can lead to prejudice thinking and has nothing to do with us, as Christians, being the people that need to point out the sin of the world. In Ezequiel 16, the Prophet condemn a dirty Jerusalem, once a pure child but now, worst than her "sisters": Sodom and Gomorrah, even Samaria. For me, its seems wiser to think the sin that God is talking about is promiscuity rather than homosexuality itself (and what i'm saying don't cancel the other verses from the Bible talking about homossexuality). We have to be wise with our words because there's a lot of audience in here and everywhere and we should be held accountable for it.
Jesus came and said that we have two commandments to follow: to love God above all and love our neighbor like ourselves! Love is the key! We can have faith, which is important because without it, is impossible to please God but Love is above all those things.

    • @cjmarz
      @cjmarz ปีที่แล้ว

The men in the cities were trying to have sex with angels and other men. Sodom = sodomy.
Additionally, love is not equivalent to tolerance. You can absolutely love members of worldly communities without supporting their lifestyles. In fact, it is more loving to respectfully tell them the truth about their sin, rather than be silent or enable them.
