Because people are jealous that you're doing something you're successful at and so they just want to bring you down. That's the only reason people hate on others. Because they want to bring them down because they're jealous or because they have something wrong in their life and so they want to make your life bad. Or they're insecure about something in themselves and so they hate on that on someone else to make them insecure too.

To be fair it's actually really refreshing seeing a band like this be honest about their experiences as a growing band. The problem with their image in the media, people being assholes to them etc. Their resilience to it is a prime example of good character and I can see that in them all.
