My daughter who is 26 autistic has the early stages of ovarian cancer, we just found out. But I'm trying to stay positive. My mother in law is going through chemo but it's not working. My husband has been cooking, shopping and doing everything for us. Both of our children are autistic. I'm trying to be strong for everyone and watching the vlogs to keep my mind off of the troubles we are having. Thank you for asking sweet friend. It's 6:30 here in California. I make a ton of candy for Christmas, well my candy thermometer “mercury” had a bubble in it & both batches of my caramels were way too hard last year. Tossed them. Just got a new one thermometer, had to try it out! Made chewy caramels w/ coarse sea salt & pecan with salt. My husband’s work mates are my taste testers. So, we’ll see what they say about the salted caramels(the pecan isn’t leaving my hands!)

If you have not tried the Sweet Baby Rays Special Sauce it is very good. It has Horseradish in it and it is delicious. We love it on burgers and Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Josh is military so he gets his hair cut somewhere and my boys are in the “shaggy” longer hair stage at the moment but when they do get haircuts they have their mamaw cut it! When you hear there’s going to be a light freeze or frost cover your bell peppers and cucumbers that may save them. Heavy freeze or frost may kill them, you can gather the peppers and still use them,

I love seeing deer. The other night we had 2 in our yard and not far from our front door. One year we had a doe and she was quite friendly and would come up quite close when I talked to her. I named her Millie. She always had twin fawns and would bring them around also. One year in early fall she actually came along our sidewalk in front of our house and we went out the front door to get a picture. That is when we discovered that she was hurt and dragging one of her back legs. We think that she must have gotten hit by a vehicle. She seemed to be telling us goodbye and we never saw her again. I was very sad about that. Anyway, love seeing deer and enjoy them a great deal.
