Ateez main concept is pirates. A group of pirates who have a journey for seeking their treasure. Ateez always explain even in their debut songs that this treasure is a precious thing in ur life. You have to watch the mvs from their label's channel KQ Entertainment not Stone. Stone is simply a distributor.. Dark Ateez is a part of normal ATEEZ and in Answer, they sat down with themselves and came to some sort of agreement. It could be the accepting of all parts of Ateez as with this latest phase there are versions of Ateez in different universes. So in Hala Hala, it says suicide's the reality and thus at the end, they snap their own necks if you watch a bit more closely. Hala Hala is full of metaphors. They are still telling us to follow them like they do in all their songs. Mingi also raps there are no swaps on our way so saying no one will sink them. So Hala Hala is still continuing that desire for their treasure. It's just diff versions of Ateez see diff treasures.

Never trust auto-gen subs on anything other than english. What it does is listen and try to make out english words from the korean sounds, so there are no translations happening.
i think ateez's "story" is extremely difficult to catch just by the mvs since they rarely have a linear storyline to follow in the video and have more images and clips of seemingly random things. We get our theories through the lyrics, the b-sides, intros/outros of albums, short films, and clues on physical albums.
My personal belief is that there is no concrete storyline and it's just a general concept of finding treasure that persists throughout all their content. However, this is partly from me giving up because i can barely connect anything myself haha
