If he’s hacking then the does he turn it off when using his guard stance, lol. He was literally waiting for you to run into his super, and you can see it a mile away. If this is hacking, I don’t think anyone on floor 6 has anything to worry about.

For anyone curious, yes there are actual hackers in GGST. It is possible to write scripts to visually analyze startups or read packets from your opponent to instantly react to your options. However, this is not what that looks like.
- Actual scripts will always use 6P or IBFD against f.S/5H (source: Alter, a notorious cheater on PC who I have fought many times)
- GGST cheats are not being shared, the few scripters that exist are known and vocal. If they were sharing cheats, it would be called out instantly.
- If someone is really cheating, the ELO algorithm and reporting systems on Rating Update will say so on their page (even if the player tries to hide the page).
- Dante is not in Celestial. If he WAS, he wouldn't be level 53. All known cheaters are because, you know, they're cheating.
If you want an example of what a real cheater looks like, the 1:11 mark of my 500 hours montage on my channel has a clip of Alter IBFDing 10 attacks in a row lol
You do know there are amateur scripters who half arse things, and smarter hackers who try to make it not look so obvious, right? In this case the script randomizes the reaction to a limited set of actions/moves. It was reactionary based upon my button presses, but randomly so.
Also all cheaters aren't in it for the win so your celestial claim holds no weight. Some are simply there to troll.
Furthermore I am not so desperate that I'd farm views. What I said was a legit claim.

as a leo main, this is just floor 6 gameplay. hes allowed to get away with mashing if you let him get away with it, and a lot of those times you would mash as well.
dont get too worked up, you just need to learn the matchup and simply improve. the testament leo matchup means you have to outrange him in neutral (i absolutely hate fighting testaments too).
It has nothing to do with Leo's mashing. It's the fact that every time I pressed a button or buttons he'd do the same at the exact same moment

@@r3dsauc3. It's not the same thing. For every button I pressed he had an instant reaction. It's not likely to occur outside of cheating.
@@TGIDante this is just called mashing. Macro's, mods, and other exploits are fairly difficult to put into a console anyway. To me, it looks like you were pressing buttons at the wrong times, such as when Leo was in stance, which gives him access to easy mix ups, fast normals, and overall a lot of bs. Testament doesn't have an invincible reversal without 50% meter, so don't try to contest him until he does a minus move or tries to powerbomb. Floor 6 is volatile, VERY volatile. Expect to lose in suspicious or odd ways, cause that's just Guilty Gear.
@@otherman4659 I wasn't mashing, and when I pressed something it was with intent. I was testing the guy the entire set to see if he was using some kind of botted system to mirror my button presses, and he was.

@@matthewlong7547 Yes, they do. The only channels that don't are the ones who like to target videos for trolling, or harassment. There are also bot accounts used to fake interactions for number sake. Personally, the accounts chiming in here, with their lack of Guilty Gear gameplay, shows that they are not a part of the Guilty Gear scene, and are likely either defending the hacker, doing damage control for Arc System Works, or are incapable of giving legit feedback due to a lack of experience.

if you wanna contest someones pressure, you should be using 2p, since its their fastest move. i think you can do 2p 2p 6p to get them off of you? something like that. or 2k 2d 236s, that'll let you get off a stain and put a bit off distance between you
i havent really fought leo much as testament, but id imagine he can very easily get away with mashing buttons if you dont know what to do about it (which usually happens to testament tbh)
The match-up isn't the problem, and I was not playing at my best. I was testing him to see if he was reacting to my button presses. I know my attacks weren't optimal. This isn't my first Guilty Gear game.
There’s literally no chance this player is hacking in any way. Actual cheaters don’t throw out random whiffed supers and parries, and DEFINITELY don’t get hit by test 6h that many times in a row. It just a regular player who’s trolling you for your strange way of just standing there. He never even “reacts” to the moves you throw out in any meaningful way!

I think in the first matches he noticed how he was owning you too hard and decided to play it down to let you have some fun too. That would explain how he goes reactionless in several parts of the video more to the end.
you have a tendency to use ground red skull when too far instead of the quick down mouth thing, and he picked on that, countering you by just jumping towards you and smashing. Multiple times when he has his back turned, he baited you into attacking when you clearly could have run him down and throw, this would avoid his counter and give a good punish. You fell for each and every of his baits.
I don't know how he does the special so fast tho, he doesn't even seem to move when doing the command, can be a macro or just a really good hand speed.
If possible, show the replay with the buttons pressed to better verify this.

With that out of the way, let’s dive into this a little bit. To me, nothing here suggests that they are cheating. On the contrary you are both making bad decisions and clear mistakes all the time. (That’s to be expected as you’re both floor 6 and you can’t really get that low if you know what you’re doing.)
But what’s worse is that you didn’t even go into detail of what exactly is the cheating part here. Could be that they are a cheater but there’s nothing specific in the video or in you explanation that you could point as the ”gotcha moment”. The accusation is vague at best and honestly I don’t even get what you’re trying to say here. At minimum you need to reinforce your case with more detail and actual specific points in the video I should pay attention to. Again, could be that they are a cheater (I don’t know) but your case against them sucks (I do know).
Please, never throw accusations of cheating unless you have solid proof. It can be devastating being accused of something you’ve never done.

@@TGIDante It’s called guessing right… and button mashing. For one thing, Leo is a Rushdown, so generally his attacks come out faster than Testament’s own, who is a Zoner. This means in mashing situations where both sides are at no disadvantage he’ll hit sooner that Testament at close to close-mid range.
Also, you didn’t even show his button inputs! You do realize you can make replays show player and opponent inputs through the match, right? You either didn’t know or left it out on purpose, which doesn’t support your argument either way

If this is a hack then why not show the video with the replays instead that show the button data? Would show quite a bit for the audience there I would say. Otherwise, looks like every other Leo player out there in testing out reaction times while also getting familiar with the character. And if it IS a hack, then just gotta be able to deal with the likes of an AI like Boss Nago, which overtime gets very predictable.

you didn't even show inputs on screen since how are we supposed to now that there is a button reading hack cause we just see you getting counter hit every now and then when you shouldn't even be pressing buttons in the first place against backturned stance. If you still believe they are hacking please leave timestamps at least, since it isn't clear when they are using these "hacks". You also say that it is the last match which is suspicious but it just looks like low level gameplay to me. I'm sorry to say but this person isn't hacking and with many others saying so as well I'm guessing you have also realized yourself that this person is in fact just a regular player who caught you pressing buttons with frametraps and just some unlucky timing. It happens sometimes in fighting games, especially fighting games with crossplay, and without proper player banning options.

Ran into this a few times in a row yesterday against PlayStation & PC players. In the first few matches things will look normal, but it's the last match in which my suspicions were validated. What you do not see is that every time I pressed any button Dru would react at the same moment. So in the final match I put my theory to the test pressing nothing, and only advancing and attacking quick enough afterwards to take advantage of the stationary Leo. It's basically a reactionary button press reading hack. If you press anything the hacker's character will react that precise moment. Guilty Gear Online is DEAD. It's not worth playing anymore.

Can you explain 6:13-6:17 when you walked up slowly and used your slowest normal three times in a row and he just stood there doing nothing getting hit by it? Why didn't the cheats detect that you had pressed a button and cause him to react?
ive ran into this exact problem but its just the floor 6ers (maybe even floor 7's). button mashing is normal-- i do it most of the time because i dont like reading to much about the matchups. the Leos just dashing out attacks and adapting to your strat, common behaviour with newer players.
this isnt hacking, please go educate yourself before spreading misinformation on the internet, leads to problems like this.
I know all about Leo, and this goes beyond his move set. He was instantly reacting to every DPad, and button press I made. Mirroring my actions. Has nothing to do with Leo's dash mix-up. In fact that's not part of my complaint.

Testament and Leo have two, COMPLETELY different movesets and inputs. Testament is zoning whilst Leo is obviously a blonde gorilla.
I dont see how they would? From what i know, Testament doesnt have any charge inputs, and rather Leo's moveset changes entirely when hes in his back-stance? I get its mostly a quarter-circle/half-circle but the inputs for both (forward/backward/P/K/S/HS) but the outcomes are different, weither its offensive or defenisive?
plus, besides this video, i dont really see a problem with whats happening. theres no red circle with an arrow showing me where the issue is. you dont have to prove anything to me, but, for futures sake mark somewhere or.. i dont know, demostrate whats bad?
