9:42 I agree with Andre. I lowered my head in disappointment when Splinter said he taught himself ninjutsu. They completely destroyed the mythology of his rivalry with Shredder and the origin of the Turtles' martial arts skills. I almost walked out of the theatre when he said this. It really ruined an integral part of their history.
Also it really isn't very believable that someone who had no prior knowledge of marital arts could teach themselves up to such a hight level off of one book, even if it does have pictures.
Right I mean not like this is a different universe that has a different origin storys compared to the original even though must of the other version of tmnt are not even like the mirage version.
People just need to calm down and realize that even though TMNT 2014 isn't perfect it's a hell of a lot better than TMNT 3 and The Next Mutation. Oh and Megan Fox was just fine. Why do people hate her? She may not be the next Katharine Hepburn, but she's no Tara Reid either. Sometimes I think people hate her for being pretty and telling it like it is in interviews.
I agree that some of the hate that people are putting out there is over the top, but I just can't get down with Meagan Fox as April. I really gave her a chance, and I definitely thought that she was better in this move than in Transformers, but she has only one weird emotionless state that she can play. I mean, she was the exactly the same throughout the entire movie whether she was trying to save the turtles' lives or she was talking to Vernon. The best example of how bad she acted was when she found out the Sacks shot her dad (which was supposed to be a big deal for her as he was kind of a father figure to her as well) and she barely even reacted. Meagan Fox just *can't act*, and for a character that has as much potential to be a lead in the turtles storyline as April does, you need better than Meagan Fox.
D. Johnson Sacks wasn't a father figure to her. She hadn't seen him since her father died when she was a kid. She looked up to him a bit, but they were acquaintances at best. Her reaction was shock tempered with the realization that she carried his obvious tracker to the Turtles lair. You're exaggerating. She may not have added much to the movie, but she didn't ruin it. You want to see someone ruin a movie, watch anything with Tara Reid. She's truly terrible. You'll have a new-found respect for Mega Fox after watching Tara Reid pretend to be human.
William Fickner was fantastic in this film. He delivers every single stupid, cheesy line completely straight and as a result he comes off hilarious. I burst out laughing when he said, "I'm gonna be rich, like stupid rich". It's like he knows how dumb some of his dialogue is and completely owns it
This review pretty much nailed everything. Great review. Only things I thought you could address were: Bullet proof Turtles. Additional plot holes. White washing/lack of Ninja.
***** Unfortunately true. lol whatch: in response to backlash of having practically no Asians in the first film, Casey will be a Chines teenage girl in the coming film.
Bullet proof turtles... I literally shook my head in the cinema when I saw that. >.> there was nothing 'ninja' about this movie. Megan O'Fox even say they know Karate, screw Ninjitsu, they know Karate... XD
The origin pissed me off. Splinter taught himself? Footclan left Ralph? The only reason I can't wait for the sequel is because it can't be any worst. The fighting scenes were great! The fight scene against Shredder on the roof was dope but they were no match for him so they use a game they played long ago which didn't defeat him.
That origin pissed me off as well! I would have liked if they didn't use shredder at all because of the disrespect shown to his character in this new movie. The turtles couldn't beat shredder but, Megan could! smh
Something I just noticed, that's kinda cool, is there's an easter egg from when Splinter picks up that book you can see the authors' names on there, I was hoping it said Homato Yoshi, but it said Eastman and Laird, the creators of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book! Although, like I said, Homato Yoshi would've been a better easter egg, but oh well
When did Shredder become Magneto? What happened to the spoiler pics of Raphael in the trench coat wondering NY city with April? Why didn't April save her dad but yet save turtles and a rat? If she cared so much to save them why did she let them go? Megan Fox's hair and makeup was always perfect in this fkn movie and it annoyed the shit out of me. And all the other questions I had you mentioned in this video. The movie wasn't shit however it wasn't great. It had potential. It's just an ok movie for me.
*+Dj Rolln* _When did Shredder become Magneto?_ Magneto? More like Magnatron, amirite? But seriously I thought Shredder was a beast. I liked it, and the movie itself. I nt future maybe we'll see Krang (and his bodyguard)
ikr, i was really hoping to see raph in his trench coat walking around New York, jsut like in the old movies, it would hav allowed for great comedy moments of him bumbling around pretending to be a human, even possibly an easter egg for casey jones???? aw, this movie had so much potential
Michaelangelo hitting on April made me laugh my ass off. also, Michaelangelo had an interest in april in the first live action turtles movie, so it makes sense heheheheheh. By the way. Michaelangelo is my favorite Turtle. ^_^
What should happen in the sequel: 1. Recast April 2. Introduce the idea that Splinter is the reincarnation of Hamato Yoshi. 3. More mutants or aliens like Krang or the Triceratons. If you're going special effects heavy, go all the way. We have the cartoon so we don't need more Turtles in New York stories (the reason the CGI movie was a waste.)
1. No it isn't, if you have a terrible enough actor. You'll never see Holly Berry play Catwoman again. 2. That's the current version of the origin in the comics. Splinter's always had mystical aspects surrounding him, like astral projection in the 1990 movie.
1. Unless she has another blowout with Bay (or whatever the hell happened with Transformers 3, dun really care...) that not happening. The sheer number of people who showed up to watch her jiggle is pretty equal to those who came to see the turtles 2. That's really the only way to stitch Yoshi into the plot at this point. It really couldn't hurt and makes more sense than learning martial arts from a book alone... 3. Careful. More bad guys to fight; good. Venus de Milo showing up; KILL IT WITH FIRE! She could have been a rad character if they figured out whether she's a kickass femme fatale, a damsel in distress or the mysterious one. Please pick 2 of these, you cannot be all three.
My personal belief why They had an untrained April do so much against highly trained villains was basically because the movie got Michael Bay'd. You know no matter what the supposed focus or the title of the movie is about, it's always about the humans. Make it Transformers? Have an unarmed untrained human take down Megatron or something. Make it a Turtles, the same, just replace your villain. I like to call these things the "Timid Gymnast vs. Velociraptor in Jurassic Park 2" moment. It sums up any moment where you have an unarmed or barely armed, untrained, smallish human face off against a large powerful and intelligent foe. A foe which, by themselves, can defeat scores of armed people, or has defeated highly trained and armed people. A foe for which their girth would normally not be affected by any attack from him or her. However, for reasons of movie magic, they can get up and beat them up with their own power. All with no show of superpowers or even Bruce Leroy's glow to show for. Michael Bay might be trying to recoin the phrase for himself, though.
The reference to Bruce Leroy's glow alone was worth the thumbs up! Can't really find any argument to your statements as I think you are correct in it. I think those moments are meant to show how humanity faces adversity and overcomes. Not that a human stands much of a chance against a giant robotic killing machine bent on his destruction. Especially when said machine is the leader of a whole damn group of like-minded machines
Ugh. I HATE rich businessmen plots. Specifically rich businessmen doing evil schemes to get more money. That's what I couldn't stand about Hitman Absolution. The main villain is a rich Texan who holds a young super soldier for ransom from the organization who made her. Dude has a huge weapons factory, a private hotel room, a penthouse suite, a private army, and pretty much an entire town in South Dakota under his thumb. WHAT. THE FUCK. DOES HE NEED WITH A SUITCASE OF MONEY?! The game itself was decent but this one plot point ruined the whole game for me. Especially considering the story was supposed to be the main selling point. Bottom line, writers: MONEY IS A TERRIBLE MOTIVATION FOR SOMEONE WHO ALREADY HAS THEIR OWN EMPIRE.
Oh man this movie really was bad. I know what you think "Oh, its not as bad as the third one from the 90's." Look guys, I know it isn't the worst movie ever, but can we just settle with a mediocre film with a terribly built plot and some fun moments? Fuck no! These turtles really had potential, and if this movie hadn't been so lazily put together it could have been great! I mean, look what a gem they created back in 1990 with stiff rubber suits. This should have been the kind of pleasant surprise the 2012 series was, but instead it was a fucking mess with little to be salvaged. What a waste.
I realize I have been stalking your videos today, but you have the most on point review of this movie. And when you brought up Spiderman, I thought FINALLY! I'm not the only one that caught that!
Admit it. If any of the turtles wanted to fight you in real life, you would crap yourself several times over. They look legit scary as f*** when fighting.
Well, I liked the movie, had a good time watching it, and even my wife liked it despite never really liking the Ninja Turtles to begin with. That being said, Andre's point are correct, especially toward the removal of the link between Shredder and Splinter cause quite a few loss in emotional intensity, plus, it remove Kurai's statue as Splinter's secret daughter, something I liked from the recent anime.
Yes, I did enjoy it, but still, I stand my ground, Turtles are a silly animal to choose for ninja hybrid...tough the bullet proof part WAS useful. In any case, there was enough self derision in the movie to allow the general public to swallow it, wich was a good move. I think Marvel used the same technique for some of it's most cheesy heroes. The movie wasn't stellar and this summer had better movies for sure, but for a Michael Bay movie about a bunch of overgrown turtles, it was much better than I expected, with action, laughter and emotions, a balanced mixt. I even liked how they used the businessman as April's nemesis while Shredder was kept for the turtles. Altough for a trained martial artist, he sure went down pretty easily. Note that I still ressent the underwater level of TMNT on the NES and it's stupid electrified plants. I'll keep holding that grudge until they give me back all those hours I wasted.
Every TMNT film puts an emphases on one specific character and they sort of set the tone of the movie. The First one was Raph's movie, 2 was Donny's movie, 3 was Mikey's, TMNT was Leonardo's film. and the 2014 film is April's Movie. That's why the turtle come of as sidekicks because. April is the character that we're taking the ride with in this movie.
Couch Tomato They know Michael Bay played part in the production so they hate on it, they do the same thing with any movie involved. They dont talk that way about the purge or even pearl harbor though, wonder why?
Best TMNT ever why: level of detail and design on turtles was more realistic than 90s suits, the fighting styles of character was true to each turtle notice how Raph was a inside fighter from sai training, and not a fancy high kicker like the original film, the comedy and Mikey's lines were better than previous movies, less goofy B.S. from previous TMNT series, the movie paid homage and reference to all past series, Splinters fight and his fighting style (crushed all previous tmnts alone), Shredder super suit was bad ass and his fighting methods was flashy and brutal. It was a better film on the technical side and entertainment side compare to previous tmnt films. The action was solid each turtle got some shine. And even though the human and april element could have been trimmed down, it was acceptable or tolerable. Now they should be able to cut loose for sequel and give more TMNT.
I enjoyed it, but it definitely felt flawed. You're totally right about literally everything in this. April needs to be relegated to prop or sidekick status in the sequel. Hell, bring back Vanilla Ice for the turtle rap part 2 in the sequel. He even does it in macaroni and cheese commercials these days.
You're critical but fair. I'm surprised people are saying you're rabid about this movie. I've heard waaay worse and damning reviews. There are critics on youtube that sound like they lost their souls to this movie.
It's because, based on earlier videos, people assumed I was just gonna hate this movie because it's not the Turtles I grew up with. I always planned on reviewing this movie the same way I review every other movie I do :)
What I want to see in a sequel is a non-rip-off plot of The Amazing Spiderman that is actualy good, more turtles, less April 'O Fox, less plot holes, and a fun movie instead of a serious movie about turtles, because who's going to take a talking 6-foot turtle seriously?
In TMNT 2 it'll be a happier tone I bet, like THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN! In TMNT 2 there will be a lot more of origin revealed about the Turtles I think, like THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN! And there will be a lot of villians, one just at the start and end, one main villian, and one just at the end. Just like TASM! Sound familiar?
So many plot holes though, one you didn't mention too was when Raphael had his shell cracked by shredder making him incapable of "sledding" down the snow mountain yet he will slam his shell into a humvee.
Next movie: Axe April entirely, or at least get a more competent actress. Introduce Casey Jones, the Utroms, and Triceratons. The Triceratons could be the villains for this one. Next movie: Agent Bishop, as portrayed in the 2003 series. This was always my favourite iteration of the Turtles, and I found Agent Bishop to be the most engaging villain. And he would be awesome on the big screen. He would be played by Gary Oldman.
William Kerfoot I mean how are humans cheap, and why would this be a lesson that casual movie goers need to learn? And how is it relevant in any way to the original comment?
William Kerfoot They were the best fucking part of the movie! What, would you rather have two hours of Megan Fox being in vaguely sexual positions while Wil Arnett picks his lips and goes "yeah, that's great"?
William Kerfoot Yeah, because CGI is SO expensive nowadays. You're saying that the reason they don't get more screen time is because of budgetary restraints? Bull-fucking-shit. And you act like it was somehow obvious that this is what you meant by your first comment. You couldn't have put it more vaguely.
I viewed the entire movie through my nostalgia goggles and I actually loved the film. Sure, I had a few minor gripes, but overall, I think the movie does my childhood love of the turtles justice. My 6 old son also loved the movie, and he has seen all the original turtles movies almost as many times as I have, and he also loves the new Nickelodeon show.
I actually really liked this movie. It just came out into cinemas here in the UK, so I only just saw it the other day. But I really did like this one: yes, I agree that the turtles should have been focused on more, but hey, that could be in the sequel? And Splinter kicks ass! Loved the turtles, loved splinter, I think this movie was so much better then what A LOT of people thought it would be. My ONLY problem with it is the origin story. Of how Splinter learned Ninjitsu from a book and April saved them. That is my only pet-peev with the film. I wish there was some Master Yoshi thing SOMEWHERE, maybe Splinter was his pet before he became a lab-rat, Shredder killed Yoshi and then took the pet rat to the lab as a final insult. Just something along those lines. But hey, if that's my only problem then I am one very happy movie-goer.
The sequel needs to focus on (a BLACK) Baxter Stockman and the Shredder teaming up with updated versions of his drones... they also need to have bebop and rocksteady as the two boss battles of the film...I also want to see Jason David Frank be cast as Casey Jones (maybe Hamato Yoshi could be Casey Jones' MMA instructor?) and I would lastly like to see Krang teased at the end of the movie... This could be a sequel of Terminator 2 proportions if it's written well... there will be tons of action sequences with Casey Jones fighting foot clan soldiers, the turtles fighting bebop and rocksteady and the shredder as well... Baxter Stockman and his scientific experiments going head-to-head with Donnie's hacking expertise. And the Krang teaser would be the icing on the cake. bebop amd rocksteady need to be FUNNY and their design needs to be off the chain and well as Krang. Casey Jones needs to be a hard hitting Badass Baxter Stockman and the shedder need to be evil assholes who exert some authority and ruthlessness. April needs 5-10 mins of screen time I couldn't stand Megan fox Hamato Yoshi needs a connection and rivalry to shredder to patch up the bullshit from the first film. The foot clan should recruit children again, but in a different way like having them steal, but also make them work in sweatshops to make Baxter's drones... This could also be a side motivation for Casey to stop shredder, maybe he had a little brother recruited by the foot? Maybe he has a soft side for kids? (Like Jesse from breaking bad or Ryan Goslings character from Drive) What do you think Andre? Black Nerd Comedy
It's hilarious how they tried to rewrite Eric Sacks into not being Shredder anymore by just adding a couple scenes and changing the dialogue. I knew it had to be some reason why they never used the name Orku Saki in the whole movie, & we never saw anyone actually put the suit on. I guess they realized that white shredder was pissing people off, & they tried to change it at the last minute.
Alright... here are my hopes for Turtles2-3. Sequel: If that was allegedly Baxter Stockman in the videos, I think he should restore Shredder to his former self (Kinda like how Yinsen did to Tony Stark). Baxter will now play a key role as Shredder's right hand man and will go forth making new tech etc...(Now here are some much hoped for plot details) Baxter has been attempting to recreate the Mutagen ever since Mr. O'Neil destroyed what little they had. Finding success by experimenting on animals he now has full control over countless mutated animals and has given his first two successes the honor off leading them and giving them heightened neurological statuses. These two are Bebop and Rocksteady, an African Warthog and Rhinocerus he obtained by paying off poachers and names them after his much beloved childhood imaginary friends (growing up in the 80's he listened to Soultrain and many other disco groups thus creating these names). Other mutants will most likely include Slash, Rahzar, FishFace, etc.
Here's the rest: Trequel: Wanting to understand what they are and what exactly made them what they are, the turtles find themselves searching for answers, with no luck of any recorded history of this mutagen before O'Neil, Stockman, Sacs discovered it. With nothing to go on they turn to Baxter (assumably imprisoned, let's face it the turtles would've won in the sequel with all mutants defeated and Shredder dead or disappeared) and find that he knew nothing of the origin and only that he knew O'Neil was the one who truly discovered it. With April and the turtles now discovering O'Neil had made interdimensional travel possible (but never revealed it) by watching top secret video files. The turtles have discovered that the machine built by O'Neil was missing from it's last known location and finding old security footage, found strange men in suits that looked identical, hoisting it away and bringing it to an unknown destination. Yadayadayada, they find the men, discover that they're aliens from another dimension collecting resources and experimenting on animals from mutagen. Exposition, exposition, they now understand they're origins but now have to defeat the "Kraang" before they use mutagen on humans. Boom, done, this took to long, but I hope you enjoy this.
The Flash Guy I think you're trying to bring too much of the 2012 TV series into it. Leave out FishFace, don't use the Kraang, but definitely use the Dimension X aspect. Make the mutagen source be the Utrom from the original comics. Other mutants to include would be Leatherhead, the Punk Frogs, Mona Lisa, and Old Hob. And there should be ABSOLUTELY NO mention of Venus de Milo. (If you're asking, "Who is Venus de Milo?" Consider yourself lucky you haven't witnessed that atrocity.) Other than the few things I pointed out, and my little rant, I wouldn't be against the plot points you laid out.
iamthesupreamegod I like your version but I really like the Kraang storyline, even if it's really close to the 2012 cartoon. But the 2012 cartoon pays a lot of patronage to the 80's show by giving us a lot of old storylines but tweaking them a little bit. The only reason I left out Leatherback is because he eventually befriends the turtles. Though that could make an interesting plot point, I don't think it would carry well on screen. And I don't *really* care which mutants we get, as long as we get Bebop and Rocksteady I'm good.
What bothered me is how Splinter was able to go toe to toe with Shredder despite being so much smaller, and than later on Shredder is throwing around Raph (who's the biggest and strongest one) like he's nothing.
TheDalinkwent Or how Raph can jump through a van and demolish a car with his shell but when Shredder steps on him, his shell cracks? What? Raph could throw those huge crate things in the beginning....what happened? He can even break the glass the turtles were in?!?!?
chad4208 Its not about skill level, but inconsistency in their strength. Splinter is simply too small in stature to be able to match strength with this Shredder, but he does while Raph is clearly supposed to be the biggest and strongest Turtle was getting thrown around the room like he was nothing. Based on Shredders suit, kicks and punches from Splinter should have been ineffective.
Totally surprised you didn't mention "bulletproof shells." You know the shells that they had while withstanding a barrage of bullets, none of which hit their legs and head. Also, a shell cracked while Raphael was sledding on it. #logic
I have to agree with your opinion of April. This was the first TMNT film I've seen and I wasn't disappointed but I wish they would've shown more of the turtles. April and Vern were shown too much. I loved Donatello. Mainly because he has a purple mask and I love purple. Also I hated the foot clan. Freaking Marvel Has Hydra and SHIELD. When I heard foot clan I was like. Seriously? Surely you can come up with something scarier than that. But otherwise it was totally enjoyable for my first time watching a TMNT movie.
April is terrible in this movie I Worst interpretation I seen. If you watch their trailers they are like April is going to be great not just a sex symbol. What the movie gave me an idiot and a sex symbol. Vern in the truck seen is like what are you doing it not we are driving down a mountain of something dodging trees, But that just the worst seen other ones are bad too. But the turtles are cool.
129das tbh April was always somewhat of a sex symbol not as obvious but it was kinda there in the original I mean April was a reporter in a yellow jumpsuit which made her hot the only thing the movie didn't accomplish was April was in the original a lot smarter
I was waiting to hear your thoughts on this. I wasn't disappointed wholeheartedly, but much agreed on the pot holes in this film. Almost felt rushed to me, yet seeing the turtles in action was dope.
They milk these franchises dry. Some movies just don't need sequels cause I bet the next one is going to be even worse but still sell well cause it's freaking Ninja Turtles.
That reference was actually pretty funny, and it was another scene that showed just how engaging the turtles and Splinter can be without focusing on April.
Black Nerd Comedy A lot of what Sachs said to April in his mansion was very different from the trailer too. The trailer made it seem like they were trying to create Mutants to be heroes but in the movie it sounded more like they were trying to create a cure all or something. You can see they tried to retcon their very own movie based on peoples feed back. Like you said, it would probably have been better if they went with their own direction.
I thought the reason Mickey was Flirting with April was because Megan Foxs' favorite Turtle was Mickey, so they made him flirt with her instead of Donnie.
I feel it would of made more sense if they kept Eric Sacks as Shredder. Then it would of made kind of a rivalry between Splinter and Shredder since he killed April's father. Also April defeating Shredder would of made more sense.
I understand your criticisms about Megan Fox as April, but I thought it was great that April got to help defeat Shredder. That part made me go yeah April trust the turtles enough to have them swing her around in order to help them out. She was willing to sacrifice herself just to make sure that Shredder couldn't hurt anyone again. This was all done with the Turtles strength not April's. I just saw this movie tonight and I love it. Sure Megan Fox sucked in the beginning, but after the second half started she became a great April O'Neil. I just wished she tried just as hard in the first half and not just cruised through it. The second half she looked like she was enjoying herself and therefor started to act for real. Anyways I understand why some people might have hated that part, but too me and even my brother we came out say "man it was great seeing April actually do something to help the turtles for a change."
KidSnivy69 Yeah but she wouldn't have been able to do the finish blow without the Turtles power. It was Leo who said do it swing her. That to me was amazing that they trusted each other that much.
fireheartis1 Doesn't matter, people didn't come for this movie for Megan Fox, they came for the turtles. That'd be like Rachel Dawes defeating the Joker in TDK.
It's true that April's help would have meant the turtles trusted her, but I think the main complaint (at least from my view point) was that she was even able to kick the Shredder. In some iterations of TMNT, April learns how to be a ninja, so seeing her even stand up to the Shredder would have been believable. Unfortunately, she didn't, and in this movie she's just a regular person...but apparently regular people can just take down a highly trained assassin...twice.
Get Otter Here That's it exactly, in the new tv show, Splinter trains her as a ninja and she even stands up to Karai, wich is awesome, if they did that on the movie, the scenes would be better
What'd i like to see in a sequel? new director, no megan fox...I don't care...i hated april o'neals character in this.....everything is too conveniently tied into her character.. they destroy any significance Splinter ever had, they ruined shredder......this movie is terrible.... the plot is generic micheal bay bullshit, make the characters you want secondary characters...makes the stupid humans characters the main characters....and of course have the stupid main chick pull shit out of her ass and defeat the shredder..fuck this film......oh plus add, hots chicks, america, special effects, and terrorism to this.....typical micheal bay of course, and lets force April o Neal into every aspect of the turtles lives, and then go for some stolen rudimentary plot.......what would i like to see from here? everyone involved in this film kicked off the project, scrap everything, restart with a more competent director......micheal bay shouldn't every direct anything anymore....all he does is fuck EVERYTHING he touches up. and it wouldn't be so bad that he made turtles disregarding everything that came before it , if the movie wasn't such a piece of crap..this movie is terrible...yes it has funny scenes but, overall this movies was a mess and badly done....its great it had special effects and cg...but, everything was executed terribly.....
Eston Playz And Stuff + yeah people that are easily entertain i.e people without any common sense. all the top critics and websites gave it a bad score. the very top youtubes/movie critics that said gave it a bad score. CineFix Doug Walker Jeremy john Chris Stuckmann What The Flick? joBlo Movie Trailers blacknerd ign and rotten tomatos
Black Nerd Comedy Hey Andre, big fan of yours. Don't know if you knew this already, but it was confirmed that Eric Sachs was going to be Shredder. Before the movie came out, it was leaked that he was filming in the Shredder suit. The fan reception was so negative to the idea, they basically cast a nobody to be in a few reshot scenes to be human Shredder. And they got William Fitchner to rerecord some of his speeches and reference the other Shredder. If you watch close, every time Shredder is mentioned by Sachs, the camera is on something else to try and hide it.
GOOD NEWS: Michael Bay is making the Power rangers movie with tighter outfits, the MLP movie with swearing and amerrican ponies, and the Looney tunes movie with guns.
+ Brian McGuire I'm pretty sure Looney Tunes already have guns (Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam), but I would suggest Michael Bay's _Looney Tunes_ movie have more Lola being sexualized than _Space Jam_ and make racist jokes.
Aw, here we are.... First of all, BN; You are The Man!! Thank you for your contribution to TH-cam and the entertainment you bring to this website. Thank you for another great review!
You are deffinitely not as critical as other people. I personally loved it and completely agree with you on everything. Hopefully the makers of the movie will hear what the fans liked and didnt like about the movie and make the sequel amazing :)
I just watched this movie tonight and I have no interest in seeing it ever again. I liked some of the humor, especially the jokes made by the Turtles, but the writers went a little overboard with the self-aware jokes. We get it already: TMNT is a weird concept. Get it out of your system and move on. The action scenes didn't do anything for me; they were your typical, overblown CGI action scenes, especially the snow scene. I didn't like Shredder's robot suit and I thought the giant blades were ridiculous. I didn't like the Turtles' costumes, I didn't like their big, tank-like bodies, I didn't like that they were given superhuman strength, and I didn't like that there seemed to be a running joke that they were bad at being stealthy. They're supposed to be ninjas, not brutes. Why would you take something that defines the main characters and crap all over it like that? I also agree that it was a terrible idea to remove the rivalry between Splinter and Shredder. The Turtles should've been sleek, stealthy, about April's height, of normal human strength, and wearing something much closer to what they usually wear. The action scenes should've been motion-captured and much more reserved. Shredder's armor should've just been normal armor with him being dangerous purely because of his fighting skills. April shouldn't have been played by Megan Fox and I agree that her role should've been dialed down. As for the sequel, it should be a reboot that doesn't involve Michael Bay and Megan Fox. It most likely won't be, but that's my only idea for the next movie.
Also April is 27 in the 1987 series as were Vernon, he has to be like 35 at least right? So for him in the movie to hit on April, it's like "aren't you a little old for her?" 2:11 Tonight I dine on turtle soup . . . With pillowy mounds of mashed potatoes . . .
JediDanD I know right. Vernon has to be like ten years older. Every time an older man hits on me, it's like "do you want me to call the police, tell them you're hitting on an underage woman?" What kind of fucking freak hits on girls almost a decade younger than themselves, that boarders on child molestation.
Sarah Simmons Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children, generally age 11 years or younger... That is pedophilia. An older man with a younger woman is not.
It was okay, I liked the turtles especially Michelangelo I thought they represented him pretty well. But I didn't like the robo Shredder for the same reason I didn't like the Ultrom Shredder from the 2000 series. Shredder should just be a natural badass. He should be just this ninja master and needs to have slight problem taking on four turtles. As for April, I'm sorry Meagan Fox is the worst April ever. She's not interesting at all. It's a Meagan Fox performance. She relies solely on how hot she is, I loved Splinter except the whole learned ninjitsu from a book. That was just stupid even for a kids movie. Now as far as things I want to see, I want to see Krang and Bebop and Rocksteady. I'd also like to throw in Slash and another evil mutant to make kind of like the Legion of Doom to the Ninja Turtles JLA. And maybe the set up for the Technodrome
How did she rely on how hot she is... She was a news reporter & she was trynna find out about them even though everyone thought she was crazy. But I'm just tired of everyone saying she was a bad actress and bad for this movie & that this movie was bad. But I liked it but all these other people are just anti-fanboys with no social life . If these people out here calling this movie bad that means that they aren't real fans of the turtles. If u were a real fan then u would've like the movie instead of bashing on it & saying megan fox was bad.
Jayden Jones i didnt think it was a bad movie at all and its not like the cartoon april wasnt hot she can be hot and she wasnt bad in the role either just to much of her not enough turtles shredder suit is ...questionable but then again he has to be as strong as turtle who can lift large shipping crates and four of em and just cuz they dont like it doesnt mean they ait fans but some people feel very strongly about nostalgia so when its changed tooo much they get mad i personaly thought thin movie was 5.5 out of 10
Great work on the review. You totally nailed. Answers: 1) What do I think about TMNT 2014? It was "eh..." It's just another kids' film. So, whatever. 2) What do I want to see in the sequel? Nothing much. I mean, I'm not even gonna bother with the sequel One Ninja Turtles film is enough for me.
The 2 main problem I had with this movie is: Master Splinter's voice frikkin sucks balls. And THE ORIGIN IS SOOOOOOOO TRASH!!!!!! but i like the movie because Raph is my favorite and he was majority of the movie
I totally agree with Andre. I still can't wrap my head around about Splinter learning ninja from a book and how they took the rivalry element away from him and Shredder. Megan Fox was nothing more than nice to look at, and it took a while for the movie to get going. But once it did finally get going I was with it. I also wasn't feeling how the foot wasn't so much a ninja clan as they were a mercenary unit. It makes things uneven for me.
The things I hope for another Turtles movie: 1.) Casey Jones, please! 2.) A villain other than Shredder such as Krang or Baxter Stockman (Or if you must, Eric Sachs as the new Shredder, as William Fichtner did do a good job with what he was given and was fun to watch.) 3.) Expanding Michelangelo's repertoire beyond making sex jokes about him and April. He's a funny reptile with years of good one-liners but didn't really get much of a chance to showcase it. That being said, that line about the mask was pretty funny. 4.) Speaking of which, giving April something to do while keeping the focus where it should be. 5.) Giving insight into character motivation/development, it isn't simply point a to point b. I guess all I want, really, is it to be like the first movie-campy, edgy yet quirky, and just a blast from start to finish. One that knew when to be serious and when to make us laugh. I agree with Andre; there were moments when this movie had what I was looking for and I could see the potential of it, but for most part the execution was sloppy. Ah, well, even if the next one is terrible I'll always have the first one to enjoy.
@2-Bit Arcade: I don't think its a "hate Megan Fox" issue, its a "Megan Fox cannot act her way out of a box" issue. And, i'm fairly certain that they made fun of Fox in the movie without her even realizing it. Every time she spoke, everyone in the film looked at her with one of those "i'm sorry you can not act" faces. I agree with the review here. The TMNT saved the movie; it should have had more of them in it. And despite all our geeky cosplay and LARP fantasies, you cannot learn to be a ninja by reading a book.
I think you hit it right on the nose with that one part about Shredder - I think the reshoots changed all the rumors we had head about the movie (Shredder being Sachs, Oroku Saki vs Hamato Yoshi, the mutagen/turtles being alien, etc), and they made it a hybrid of the movie the fans wanted and the original movie they shot.
You're grossly exaggerating April's part in defeating the Shredder. The way you told it, you'd think she took off her coat, grabbed Leo's sword and challenged Shredder to a duel and then proceeded to kick his ass. That is not the case. She was thrown at him and scored the last hit. That's all. Geez. Stop making mountains out of turtle shells.
I still can't believe that no one remembers there was an avalanche in that snow chase scene. Seriously. No one remembered. Not even the CGI crew, because that avalanche just *disappears* midway through and is never seen again.
I think the part where splinter says "I have no memory before the lab" may have something to do with a future sequel, like maybe he was still Yoshi's pet and was able to learn Ninjitsu so easily (From a book...) because of unconscious memories of Yoshi
Finally watched it and man, what a piece of shit this was. I never really cared for Megan Fox (there are way hotter women out there), but now I'm starting to hate her. The fact that she gave the final blow to Shredder is so stupid, but I guess it sums up the movie quite nicely. This movie had no soul whatsoever. The turtles were pretty good although Michelangelo was either hit or miss. Sometimes I chuckled, othertimes I cringed. Will never watch it again.
It's best to change origins and the story plots as TMNT moves on. :) We can't always have the same; some people just can't handle change. x) I loved the movie!
Here's a question; there was only one canister of mutagen left and Shredder managed to grab it from April and he still had it when he fell. When he's on the ground the canister is shown shattered next to him with some ooze on his hand (hinting it would heal him) so then how did the turtles heal Splinter? They needed the mutagen to save his life remember? They say that they did use the mutagen but there's no way they possibly could. It was with Shredder and it was gone.
I have to say, I agree with you totally on every point. Being a Turtles fan since Mirage issue #1, I have always been wary of any version when it comes up. I will say though that I was much more satisfied with how much turtle we got in this than how much transformer we get in those films. Talking comicbook movies in general, it still hurts that people want to be as accurate as possible when a film is based on a novel and we all have to deal with what Hollywood "believes" that we "want" in our movies. Comicbooks may be "comics" to mainstream Hollywood, but they are still "books." You would think that since movie theaters run on the genre now that some respect would be due.
Maybe the reason why April was the one to defeat the 'Shredder', is because that wasn't the real Shredder... Remember what Tony Stark did in the third iron man movie? Or maybe the Erik guy wanted Shredder to lose so he could take over, and thus sabotaged the suit himself...Just a thought...
Did a Ninja Turtle 2014 make up tutorial. You guys should check it out! As far as the movie. I didn't mind it. Went to see it for the turtles. Not gonna praise the movie, but I don't think it's as horrible as everyone is saying it is.
When I went to see the movie after 20 minutes into the movie, I swear to god I heard a kid ask "why aren't the ninja turtles in the movie"...
probably me tbh
+William Kerfoot You were one of the people working on the movie weren't you?
lol
William Kerfoot LOL! You'd better not let that into your resume, it'll be an instant rejection from your job.
+Demon Kane when I went to see it I was thinking like umm I understand Megan fox is hot but where are my turtles
Demon Kane that was me
9:42 I agree with Andre.
Purple Panda maybe he learned quick and easy cuz of the mutagen gave him advance intelligence
You'll have a new-found respect for Mega Fox after watching Tara Reid pretend to be human.
ya, i have to say i liked this movie, the second half was even pretty good. i give it a 6.5/10
I have seen it the movie is a pretty good movie but Megan Fox gets to much screen time.
I think people hate her because its popular to hate her
William Fickner was fantastic in this film.
Only things I thought you could address were:
Bullet proof Turtles.
Additional plot holes.
White washing/lack of Ninja.
***** Unfortunately true.
lol whatch: in response to backlash of having practically no Asians in the first film, Casey will be a Chines teenage girl in the coming film.
ForNoneOther lol We can only imagine the racial/sexual horrors the Bay shall unleash when Casey shows up.
ForNoneOther they're trying to get Joseph Gordon Levitt (Robin from the Dark Knight Rises) to play Casey Jones in the sequel.
Bullet proof turtles... I literally shook my head in the cinema when I saw that. >.>
there was nothing 'ninja' about this movie. Megan O'Fox even say they know Karate, screw Ninjitsu, they know Karate... XD
kingofsapi xD I'm surprised you got past the Teenage Mutant Ninja part.
my favourites are (spoiler alert) Raph admits he loves his brothers and a part that i forget
oh yeah the parts where they say shut up mickey and him at the part where he talks about singing
and the part when she watch her taping the turtles. the turtles were so cute
Splinter teaching himself totally ruined the movie for me.
Remember how the first sequels turned out? It looks like this is going to be Transformer all over again.
That origin pissed me off as well! I would have liked if they didn't use shredder at all because of the disrespect shown to his character in this new movie. The turtles couldn't beat shredder but, Megan could! smh
The movie, is a fucking piece of shit.
Any "worse", Lionel? Oh, you don't know the half of it.
Although, like I said, Homato Yoshi would've been a better easter egg, but oh well
When did Shredder become
Magneto? What happened to the spoiler pics of Raphael in the trench coat wondering NY city with April? Why didn't April save her dad but yet save turtles and a rat? If she cared so much to save them why did she let them go? Megan Fox's hair and makeup was always perfect in this fkn movie and it annoyed the shit out of me. And all the other questions I had you mentioned in this video. The movie wasn't shit however it wasn't great. It had potential. It's just an ok movie for me.
Wandering*
His knives are magnetic.
*+Dj Rolln* _When did Shredder become Magneto?_
Magneto? More like Magnatron, amirite? But seriously I thought Shredder was a beast. I liked it, and the movie itself. I nt future maybe we'll see Krang (and his bodyguard)
ikr, i was really hoping to see raph in his trench coat walking around New York, jsut like in the old movies, it would hav allowed for great comedy moments of him bumbling around pretending to be a human, even possibly an easter egg for casey jones???? aw, this movie had so much potential
awesome work andre
Michaelangelo hitting on April made me laugh my ass off. also, Michaelangelo had an interest in april in the first live action turtles movie, so it makes sense heheheheheh.
By the way. Michaelangelo is my favorite Turtle. ^_^
What should happen in the sequel:
1. Recast April
Splinter's always had mystical aspects surrounding him, like astral projection in the 1990 movie.
clockstomper but that Catwoman didn't become a trilogy.
clockstomper what the hell is a holly berry? some kind of sacred fruit?
1. Unless she has another blowout with Bay (or whatever the hell happened with Transformers 3, dun really care...) that not happening. The sheer number of people who showed up to watch her jiggle is pretty equal to those who came to see the turtles
Please pick 2 of these, you cannot be all three.
sirensoundwave Did you really just say reincarnation makes more sense that learning something from a book? lol, wow.
I'm actually glad I haven't seen it lol...I do not like Michael Bay.
Well you're the last person I expected to see here.
Whoa , Pksparkxx? Never expected you here.
Its not worth it. It was a pile of poop.
Michael Bay for Smash!!!!! His Final Smash should be transforming into Megan Fox riding on BumbleBee
OMG is that pksparkxx
The best part about this movie's "Timid Gymnast vs. Velociraptor in Jurassic Park 2" moment, is the fact that they both used a similar attack.
Came back to watch this. This video is so hilarious 🤣
The sequel needs to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, not Teenage Megan Fox Turtles
Looks like they're fixing that. Watch the first trailer of the sequel.
Just keep hoping that the 2nd one coming this Friday is good.
SimonBRUH8217... again I know, I have my fingers crossed for that one.
Thank you for bringing that up, about how April is who kills Shredder. It's Shia La Baghead killing Megatron (kinda) all over again.
tell me about it a human killing something big has never been done before except for Michael bay movies
patrick sowders You do realize that your dullwitted sarcasam hasn't changed anyones mind on the film right
shia killed starscream not megatron
***** Watch the first movie.
TheSteelMagnum
oh i thought he meant the 3rd film, oopsie :P
I personally love the movie.
Same here
Me too
I realize I have been stalking your videos today, but you have the most on point review of this movie. And when you brought up Spiderman, I thought FINALLY! I'm not the only one that caught that!
We get two reviews?! Is it Christmas???? xD
Yes! But now you gotta get a gift for Splinter :)
Black Nerd Comedy Lmao! xD
Ksic and Andre in one thread. Have I been to heaven
I'll get him six yellow yo yos. Now wait...five!
But I'll call it six!
It's the hip hop Christmas musical?! XD
I've been waiting a long time for this review. Life is now complete.
Admit it.
If any of the turtles wanted to fight you in real life, you would crap yourself several times over.
They look legit scary as f*** when fighting.
Yeah but they're supposed to be ninjas...not quarterbacks.
I'll bust a cap in them.... I also do MMA so I'm good...
Bay will troll us and make Shiah Casey Jones
Well who else would play Casey?
legopieface joseph gordon levitt
ernestofigueroa101 Chris Statman (that guy from crank)
josh peck
Shia wanted a career change. Which is why he doing better films
. So I doubt he will work in a Bay film again.
I saw this movie opening weekend on my son's birthday...he's two...he loved it and i liked it...I do not understand why people hate it
Couch Tomato They know Michael Bay played part in the production so they hate on it, they do the same thing with any movie involved. They dont talk that way about the purge or even pearl harbor though, wonder why?
I WANT TO SEE MORE KARAI!! i also want to see her fight the turtles and actually interact with them
They did feel like sidekicks but I still love the movie
Then you're stupid.
He even does it in macaroni and cheese commercials these days.
haha I like your profile pic :D
You're critical but fair. I'm surprised people are saying you're rabid about this movie. I've heard waaay worse and damning reviews. There are critics on youtube that sound like they lost their souls to this movie.
It's because, based on earlier videos, people assumed I was just gonna hate this movie because it's not the Turtles I grew up with. I always planned on reviewing this movie the same way I review every other movie I do :)
Black Nerd Comedy Did you read my mind some how before you posted these reviews?
Sound familiar?
henry w you were wrong
Yes yes yes! I really want Bishop to be in the next film because his character works here. That would be awesome!
***** ONE QUESTION WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE A MOVIE YET ? ANSWER ME !
***** okay good i need more of you
Awesome review! I actually enjoyed this movie, although I wished that Splinter and the turtles had more screen time.
+William Kerfoot Why?
William Kerfoot Well, someone's in a mood.
For the sequel, i think we should get more turtles, and less Megan o' fox
I KNOW we should get more Turtles and less Megan O'Fox LOL :)
I want Casey Jones
Agreed
Casey Jones needs to be a hard hitting Badass
Baxter Stockman and the shedder need to be evil assholes who exert some authority and ruthlessness.
April needs 5-10 mins of screen time I couldn't stand Megan fox
Hamato Yoshi needs a connection and rivalry to shredder to patch up the bullshit from the first film.
The foot clan should recruit children again, but in a different way like having them steal, but also make them work in sweatshops to make Baxter's drones... This could also be a side motivation for Casey to stop shredder, maybe he had a little brother recruited by the foot? Maybe he has a soft side for kids? (Like Jesse from breaking bad or Ryan Goslings character from Drive)
What do you think Andre?
Here's the rest:
Trequel: Wanting to understand what they are and what exactly made them what they are, the turtles find themselves searching for answers, with no luck of any recorded history of this mutagen before O'Neil, Stockman, Sacs discovered it.
The Flash Guy Mr. Flash sir, you should write these movies.
Kate Burke You know what, if April had a little less face time, i'm in!
(If you're asking, "Who is Venus de Milo?" Consider yourself lucky you haven't witnessed that atrocity.)
Other than the few things I pointed out, and my little rant, I wouldn't be against the plot points you laid out.
iamthesupreamegod I like your version but I really like the Kraang storyline, even if it's really close to the 2012 cartoon.
Turtles: Is that Kraang Subprime?
Kraang Subprime: NO! ITS MEGAN FOX
Their strength was completely inconsistent...which bothered the crap out of me.
What bothered me is how Splinter was able to go toe to toe with Shredder despite being so much smaller, and than later on Shredder is throwing around Raph (who's the biggest and strongest one) like he's nothing.
TheDalinkwent
Or how Raph can jump through a van and demolish a car with his shell but when Shredder steps on him, his shell cracks?
TheDalinkwent This. ^
Well there huge, they should be strong
Don't complain about splinter voice because he is american in this movie not Japanese
***** it doesn't matter he was born in America has human traits hes american
Totally surprised you didn't mention "bulletproof shells." You know the shells that they had while withstanding a barrage of bullets, none of which hit their legs and head.
Also, a shell cracked while Raphael was sledding on it. #logic
Thank you for saying it!
When the bullet thing happened, I was screaming internally "They're NINJA TURTLES! NOT SUPERMAN!!!"
They must have took Captain America's Vibranium
FullMetalWhovian81 But they're mutants.
And teenaged.
his shell crack came from when shredder stomped on his back.
The shells where always bulletproof that's how it works, if you don't like it stop watching TMNT. #you'reanidiot
Who else watched the spoilers review just because they didn't actually wanna bother watching the film?
I'm really surprised that you don't touch on the fact that they're near-hulk strong and bulletproof.
They milk these franchises dry. Some movies just don't need sequels cause I bet the next one is going to be even worse but still sell well cause it's freaking Ninja Turtles.
I'm still having hope that the sequel will be better than the original.
Black Nerd Comedy I hope so too and at least a tease to anything connected to dimension X
Black Nerd Comedy probably wont be
Black Nerd Comedy it better be the dark knight of sequels
if there's a 3rd movie, there's no need to watch it cause everything goes wrong when they make a third with few exceptions
Aw, I thought you were gonna mention the little reference they did to the original movie when the pizza fell on Splinter's head.
blue?
That reference was actually pretty funny, and it was another scene that showed just how engaging the turtles and Splinter can be without focusing on April.
Original version: good plot, good acting, ok special effects, good character development.
I don't believe any negative thing you've said. You LOOOOOVE this movie. You're so into it. And a 25min review says kinda says it all.
I thought the same thing about Eric Sachs & how he was probably Shredder in the original script.
also noticed that infamous shot in the trailer where Fichtner was standing there looking at the Shredder armor wasn't in the movie.
Yep, because that was probably when he became Shredder, ha ha. Whoops. Or maybe he was looking at the suit and was gonna say "Let me look at you!"
@DaShonuff: even the original Alien origin story?
Black Nerd Comedy OK! Now let me hear you speak in the suit!
it was in the movie if im not mistaken... but the real shredder was near him
I thought the reason Mickey was Flirting with April was because Megan Foxs' favorite Turtle was Mickey, so they made him flirt with her instead of Donnie.
It's mikey
I thought it was because previously, it was Mikey who had the crush on April, before Donny, so they just went with that.
+JoseRivas my bad, wasn't thinking
its alright
looks like he wasn't #smoothdonatello
I feel it would of made more sense if they kept Eric Sacks as Shredder. Then it would of made kind of a rivalry between Splinter and Shredder since he killed April's father. Also April defeating Shredder would of made more sense.
The fact that Johnny Knoxville is the voice of Leonardo takes the movie down a full star.
I don't think the problem is that she help, it the fact she did the finishing blow
This movie made part 3 look like a master piece.
USE A PERIOD!! And the movie was awesome, a lot of people would agree with me.
Eston Playz And Stuff + yeah people that are easily entertain i.e people without any common sense. all the top critics and websites gave it a bad score.
the very top youtubes/movie critics that said gave it a bad score.

Eston Playz And Stuff Yea, all of those people that agree with you are morons
Dont lose the director, lose the producer.
The outer space line by April Oneal is referring to the kraang and dimension x
Black Nerd Comedy Hey Andre, big fan of yours. Don't know if you knew this already, but it was confirmed that Eric Sachs was going to be Shredder. Before the movie came out, it was leaked that he was filming in the Shredder suit. The fan reception was so negative to the idea, they basically cast a nobody to be in a few reshot scenes to be human Shredder. And they got William Fitchner to rerecord some of his speeches and reference the other Shredder. If you watch close, every time Shredder is mentioned by Sachs, the camera is on something else to try and hide it.
"That cat's playing Chopsticks with chopsticks!"
GOOD NEWS: Michael Bay is making the Power rangers movie with tighter outfits, the MLP movie with swearing and amerrican ponies, and the Looney tunes movie with guns.
XD
Is he also remaking Bob the Builder with exploding trucks?
+ Brian McGuire *Amarecan
Clover Elgrove LOL
+ Brian McGuire I'm pretty sure Looney Tunes already have guns (Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam), but I would suggest Michael Bay's _Looney Tunes_ movie have more Lola being sexualized than _Space Jam_ and make racist jokes.
22:40 We talking about Transformers now?
Grrr....
So for him in the movie to hit on April, it's like "aren't you a little old for her?"
2:11 Tonight I dine on turtle soup . . .
With pillowy mounds of mashed potatoes . . .
JediDanD I know right. Vernon has to be like ten years older. Every time an older man hits on me, it's like "do you want me to call the police, tell them you're hitting on an underage woman?"
What kind of fucking freak hits on girls almost a decade younger than themselves, that boarders on child molestation.
***** We're not talking about older men and younger woman in general, we're talking about men who around 10 years older. That's pedofhile . . .
An 8 year difference is not that much.
Ehh...an 8-year difference isn't that bad! Besides, Will Arnett is actually 16 years older than Megan Fox!
So you're saying that if you're a real fan then you must just blindly like it no matter what?
Jayden Jones i didnt think it was a bad movie at all and its not like the cartoon april wasnt hot she can be hot and she wasnt bad in the role either just to much of her not enough turtles shredder suit is ...questionable but then again he has to be as strong as turtle who can lift large shipping crates and four of em and just cuz they dont like it doesnt mean they ait fans but some people feel very strongly about nostalgia so when its changed tooo much they get mad i personaly thought thin movie was 5.5 out of 10
Horacio Ortiz oh and the shredder being erics sidekick thing is pretty true...
Horacio Ortiz and that shell tightning joke in the movie was kinda tasteless but sorta funny
Alright I looked up the 99 Cheese Pizza scene..and it was legit enjoyable. I am surprised.
Great work on the review. You totally nailed.
Answers:
1) What do I think about TMNT 2014? It was "eh..." It's just another kids' film. So, whatever.
2) What do I want to see in the sequel? Nothing much. I mean, I'm not even gonna bother with the sequel One Ninja Turtles film is enough for me.
I SEEN THE MOVIE TODAY IT WAS SO EPIC I GIVE IT A 9 OUT OF A 10 IN MY OPINION
I think you accidentally left your caps on...
yea i did sorry
***** i give it 8
mitchell meza i also give it a 8.... LOVED IT
Knoxville killed it as Leo. When he told Raphael, "We're on the move." It just screamed Leo
The 2 main problem I had with this movie is: Master Splinter's voice frikkin sucks balls. And THE ORIGIN IS SOOOOOOOO TRASH!!!!!! but i like the movie because Raph is my favorite and he was majority of the movie
by
Mine as Well!!!
The things I hope for another Turtles movie:
1.) Casey Jones, please!
2.) A villain other than Shredder such as Krang or Baxter Stockman (Or if you must, Eric Sachs as the new Shredder, as William Fichtner did do a good job with what he was given and was fun to watch.)
3.) Expanding Michelangelo's repertoire beyond making sex jokes about him and April.
If vern turns out to be Casey Jones I will flip a table maybe two
*****
They already got a actor to play Casey
Don't scare me like that lol
I'm disappointed only one COWABUNGA!!!! Wish they said that more
Actually twice :)
+Black Nerd Comedy oh, whoops! XD
Yeah, I only remember once too. That's how bad it was.
aPIMP nameMOSES the movie was actually pretty good 2 me besides Megan o Neil
toonylinkanator1374 you're among the very few.
I love how tickled he gets.
Lol same
@2-Bit Arcade: I don't think its a "hate Megan Fox" issue, its a "Megan Fox cannot act her way out of a box" issue.
The way you explained it doesn't make it any better, she still delivered the final blow
KidSnivy69 Yes, but only in the way a shuriken hits a target. She was merely a weapon.
Robin williams died today.
Rest in Peace Robin.
I know man that's sucks he was my favorite actors
Damon what?
I'm from the future, and I can confirm this..
Genie, you're free.
less humans MORE TURTLES!!!!!!!
I'm curious about the Usagi cameo you mentioned in the previous video. What was it?
I still can't believe that no one remembers there was an avalanche in that snow chase scene. Seriously. No one remembered. Not even the CGI crew, because that avalanche just *disappears* midway through and is never seen again.
I think the part where splinter says "I have no memory before the lab" may have something to do with a future sequel, like maybe he was still Yoshi's pet and was able to learn Ninjitsu so easily (From a book...) because of unconscious memories of Yoshi
Nope it's pretty clear that he was April's pet.
@@victor2641 you replied to a comment so old I have since quit my job, graduated from college, took a year long break, and got a new job
Will never watch it again.
ha for the ad i got the ad for tmnt 2 haha
This is the first review I've seen where somebody mentioned Splinter learning ninjitsu from a book! I can always count on you, Andre! :D
I loved the movie! But i will agree, April killing Shreddar?? That was disappointing
I heard a lot of cursing in the theater when that happened! The people were pissed lol
Thank you for telling me you're a black nerd, I would not have known otherwise :)
shhhhhhhhh
It's best to change origins and the story plots as TMNT moves on. :) We can't always have the same; some people just can't handle change. x) I loved the movie!
Tell me about it
Here's a question; there was only one canister of mutagen left and Shredder managed to grab it from April and he still had it when he fell.
