Haven't seen this engine before and it kicked some ass... Love the local work videos.. Great coverage of this job !!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
former Espee GP35.
@@suppylarue220 Appreciate the added info 👍🏼
Former Southern Pacific GP35 alive and well in Illinois. Also yes the spot on the nose gives it away that it was built for the Southern Pacific
Really enjoyed this video, more please!
More to come!
great catch and he really flat spotted those cars at 5:38
Nice catch!
Pretty cool engine 👍
Yup, thanks for watching!
Great catch
Thanks
Some nice obscure switching video All those old coal hoppers filled with freshly mined scrap from Behr. I was wondering whether the brakes on the cars were squealing or if they were testing the tornado siren.
that was the breaks on the cars, I'm guessing they forgot to release the handbrakes
I think bro got me in the shot
my bad
Guessing it was an ex-CSX unit since the air system was spitting like that. Seems like all CSX units do that. Or at least the GP units in my town did.
ex Espee GP35
Must be a new crossing not completed yet, as the lights and bell didn't go off.
yep, the old one was broken
Where is this at?? Great paint scheme on the loco!!!
This in the interchange with the Union Pacific at main St in Rockford Illinois
Brand new gates and not operating should have activated them in the first place
There still being worked on
Steep grade 😅 laughable!
steep for a kindergartener.
