Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? Matthew 9:5

I’m glad to hear this guy admit his flaws…. Warts and all….. it shows sincerity… a few less ads would be good though

Where is "hurry" in the Bible? Seems to come up a lot in so many sermons.

I disagree about not deserving to be healed; Believers absolutely do deserve to be healed!
We have right-standing with God. We are Saints. We are no longer considered to be unrighteous or sinners. We are in Christ.
Therefore, we DO deserve healing and every other incredible inheritance from our Father. If Jesus deserves every good and perfect gift from God, and if God looks at us the same way He looks at Jesus, then we deserve every good and perfect gift from God too!
I know it's common for preachers and teachers to say that we don't deserve grace, we don't deserve mercy, blah blah blah. But they contradict themselves when they talk about how we're considered to be righteous, holy, sons of God, etc. You can't have it both ways.
If an unbeliever gets healed then yes, that's mercy. They didn't deserve it. But if a Believer gets healed, then they absolutely deserved it because Christ made them an heir!
As an unbeliever, I didn't deserve good things from God. But the instant I became a Believer, I absolutely became deserving of every incredible gift from my Father!

You are correct! We do have right standing with God and are no longer considered unrighteous or sinners. However, we must never lose sight of HOW we were made in right standing with God, because without the sacrifice of Jesus and Him taking upon Himself our sins, our sicknesses, our diseases, our death, we would still be unrighteous, unholy, unworthy and undeserving, and THAT is God's Grace being poured out upon us! Outside of Christ, without His sacrificial suffering, His death, burial and resurrection, we are all toast! So, in the natural, without God, outside of relationship with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus, we don't deserve to be healed! BUT GRATEFULLY, we are not outside of relationship with Him BECAUSE OF JESUS! I don't deserve healing because I did something to be healed, it's conferred upon me because Jesus paid for it Himself on the cross! I Peter 2; 24. "Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by Whose stripes you WERE healed!" Jesus paid the price for our healing, we didn't, and I for one, am grateful that I'm not getting what I deserved! The rest of this message, after that one comment, describes HOW we as believers have been healed by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and how we must renew our minds to that reality. Thank you for your feedback!

@@DuaneSheriffMinistries Amen! I agree. Thank you for your clarification!
I just wish preachers and pastors, in general, clarified this. In essence, they don't give people any reason to be excited about their identity in Christ. And that's because people discourage themselves by feeling like they don't deserve God's Grace.
I feel the same way about the statement, "We live in a fallen world." Yes, apart from God, we do live in a fallen world. But through Christ, my world has been redeemed! MY world is not fallen, Amen!

YOU ARE RIGHT, BUT WHAT WE DIDN'T DESERVE IS GRACE. BUT AFTER GRACE HAS BEEN FREELY GIVEN TO US, WE DESERVE ALL THAT COMES WITH GRACE. LIKE HEALING, PROSPERITY E.T.C. THAT IS WHY JESUS SAID ASK AND RECEIVE THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL. GOD BLESS YOU
