    What I’ve noticed is either new riders think they don’t need gear and experienced riders (not all but some) get numb to the risks they take. You can ride a bike for thousands of miles without an accident, but it only takes one to…you know.
    So please stay safe and always wear gear everyone 🙏🏻

      I myself try to do everything possible should an accident ever occur to be able to walk away.
      Thanks for the comment, and for watching my channel!

      @@twowheeladventures327 nah man, I did see that they have the chest inserts, I think they only have the foam ones tho without the plastic . I haven’t purchased them myself but hey the more gear the better ! Also, not too sure on the weather where you are but the inner liner is fully removable and it really does help if you notice you’re getting a little hot and sweaty riding lol

    I too have the Alpinestars Viper V2 jacket. I think it's a fantastic affordable jacket from a big brand such as Alpinestars. I had Alpinestars SP8 gauntlets but I found them a little too stiff for my liking when I just want to ride casually and taking them on and off was a pain after my hands have been sweaty for a bit. I recently purchased me a pair of Rev'It! Kinetic summer gloves and these are amazing. I am going to get the back insert however for my jacket for the extra safety precautions. Been getting a little paranoid and it wouldn't hurt to spend on a back protector.
    I too have a Ninja 400 in Passion Red and nice bike ;)

      Thanks for your feedback and the back protector is always a good choice. Added protection to help you walk away if a crash would happen. I'll have to check your gloves out and try them. Enjoy your bike and be safe!

    Sedici gear for me! No real reason other than price. As a new rider myself it can be quite a pricey hobby. I saw some things on Amazon too but was too worried about the fit and didn't want to go through hassles of sending it back and having nothing. Just went down to the cycle shop on Bluemound and actually tried them on, and just bought from them 🙃

      Good point on a local cycle shop! Thanks for the comment, I’m going to look into that Sedici Gear, I have heard of that brand and seen it around a few time.

      Oconomowoc does have some nice areas to ride any many lakes in the area.

    I’m waiting on a 23 Z650 and I’m new so I can relate to the cost of the gear, I ordered Alpinestars gear from the AST jacket to the faster-3 shoes. I also got a Shoei RF 1400 helmet, revzilla must love me.

    One year later how's the gear holding up?

    • @twowheeladventures327
      @twowheeladventures327  ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything is still in tact. The only complaint I have is the zipper on the jacket likes to work it’s way down. So I’m pulling it back up occasionally while I ride. But overall still love the gear!

    Is there padding or armor on the elbow's?

    Are you able to replace the chest foam pads to upgraded shells ?

    • @twowheeladventures327
      @twowheeladventures327  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, this jacket doesn't have chest foam. It has the ce rated armor in the forearms that extends to the elbows. It also has sholder pads, and an optional back protector. Unfortnatnly no chest pad area . Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.

    Hey i bought this product a few days ago and i wanted to ask some questions, when wearing the jacket (1. it feels a bit too snug on the chest/torso especially when zipping up, 2 when i lift my arms the jackets raises up to my belly button) is that fine or do you think i should return this one and buy a bigger sized one

    • @twowheeladventures327
      @twowheeladventures327  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, did you buy it to your us clothes size, my jacket is snug but when I raise my arms it doesn’t raise above my belly button. What I noticed is my US size is a large but alpine stars are European fit so I had to get XL. Do you have a cycle gear near you?

    • @ItsTeeko_
      @ItsTeeko_ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @twowheeladventures327
      @twowheeladventures327  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I did the same thing, it was tight but the next size up for me worked. I did stop into cycle gear just to make sure it fit better and it did. My gloves are also another size up from American sizes.

      Great jacket though, once you have it fitting right you’ll love it, used it on some hot days and while you’re moving it’s not bad at all, I do suggest getting the back armor at some point for added protection.
