Hi Beto! Valir was my main hero for more than a year. It is when he plays a "baby sitter" / " nanny" role that he becomes so much effective. It even baffles me to this day why ML hasn't switched his role from a pure mage into a mage/support. He is still fun to use especially when the opposing team uses a lineup that prefers diving into the fray. Although I still pretty much enjoy playing him, I had to switch to another hero since Valir cannot semi-carry a game making it close to impossible to reverse the tide of the game when paired with players who aren't efficient in using their chosen hero or those who are simply having a bad game.
Valir with ice queen wand is the definition of hot as ice and cold as fire, not only the best hero with it, but also the strongest item in the game in my opinion for mages and team fights (dang that slow is too much)
Valir is very over powered. Yesterday, I played him for the second time in classic (First time in mirror brawl/shadow Brawl) and I'm honestly very surprised. His early game is VERY STRONG and I dominated the whole team with the score of 30-0-9. He is so op, especially for a newbie at Valir like me. If you want many wins and kills, use Valir if he's not banned :)
