I hope YOU felt better after this potting session, because you certainly made ME feel better. The combination of the soft music and minimal editing was soothing. Who knew watching another person press moss down a tube using chopsticks would be so relaxing!
This video was really reassuring to me as a creator and plantmom ☀️ I have created a few long style videos - showing the whole process - and added some relaxing music to the background - and I worried about who would actually watch such a long video - but I actually like watching the long style videos better than short clips that are super edited. Thanks for all you do!
@@Seeking_Zóé There's an audience for everything. I, for one, enjoy playing the long-format videos when I'm cooking or folding laundry, or when I'm doing planty tasks that will take some time, like rinsing a bucket-full of pon or moving a bunch of plants to the tub for a "mass watering" session.
Dont stress mama i used to be like that but now what i do i drink a cup of tea or coffee and either read a book or do something to keep u busy go for a walk or repot that what help me and remember baby girl that tomorrow will be a better day💚💚💚
Anxiety. Doesn’t it suck so bad? Awwww honey sweetie pumpkin. Love love love your stuff. Please know your stuff is amazing and look we look forward to all posts. You don’t have to be perfect either. You’re real. I sometimes make myself wait and not watch you so I can binge a whole day to have your company.
Planty chores are always good for the head and heart, your videos have helped me through so much❤. From a breakup to the worst fungus knat infestation MY MOM has ever seen, your videos are the background music to my Sunday watering schedule. Thanks for all that you do fern we appreciate you!
First off I love your hair it looks so cute and I haven’t watched your vlog yet so I have two videos to watch back to back I can never get enough of ur videos fern ☺️😅
I can’t believe we get two videos in one day! I normally save your videos for when I work out because they help me get through the treadmill so quickly and make it a bit more relaxing! So glad to have another one!
Thank you so much for your videos! I love how long they are. I don't have friends who share the plant hobby, so it's super fun for me to do plant chores while listening to your videos. It's like hanging out with someone since your videos don't feel suuuuuper edited. Also fun to have a Canadian since I know I can get the same stuff😅
Omg, what a fun video! Praying you feel better soon. I def think plant care is good for the soul and relaxing. Your videos are always a amazing And I LOVE that little strawberry 🍓 ❤
Another vid? No way! 😂 luv you Fernanda ❤ Snow storm here in Utah so thanks for pulling through with the content, now I don't feel as blue. Give lil' O a hug n a kiss 🐶
Omg this was me a week ago the morning I was going on vacation! So stressful, I feel ya! I also have a crap ton of plants AND responsibility at work. Life is tough but it’s worth all the beauty and joy that comes with it! You rock fern, give olive some luv for us all! And fern too! She deserves it as much as anyone ❤❤❤
Can definitely relate, sweetie.. I had the most stressful week last week.. and the issues I am dealing with aren’t completed and won’t be for awhile… which makes the upcoming weeks/months stressful as well…. These are what could be major life altering issues… So, i feel you. I am not religious, but very spiritual. My Faith definitely helps me tremendously and I wish I had always had my Faith as a healthy coping mechanism.. Faith, music, my plants and kitties are a BIG stress reliever. God bless, beautiful. ❤
I did the same with my microwave. I peeled off the film off the door but not till I had it a year did I realize that the number keys and clock area had a film too. Where I pressed the front With my thumb to open the door started to get rough and I started picking at it but it wasn’t until my roommate came home and he was able to peel it off. Had the same impression that it looked brand new.
Which moss pole was the last buckle one? Only moss poll I have ever liked how it looked. Also, I’m sure a ton of people say this, but I would love to do some cutting swaps with ya.
Hi 💫 I’m pretty new to your channel and I’m in awe of all your beautiful plants. I’ve just gotten an Oxalis Triangularis and a Hindu Rope and am wondering what potting mix you use? My Oxalis got what I’m guessing is fungus gnats so I’m treating with Peroxide/water hoping she will make it. Any good potting mixes for both of my new family members would be appreciated. 🙏🏻
In reference to your microwave, I have TWICE lived in places for months where I thought my washer/dryer had cute blue accents only to discover they are actually just white/chrome and no one took the film off hahaha
What is the brand of Sphag that smells good? I have only found sphag that smells bad, to the point of disliking using moss poles and am now trying tree fern fiber mixed with perlite, but that’s messy as it keeps falling out. I like the grow results seen with sphag poles…. Thanks for another fun chores video 😊
Hope you are feeling much better fern. I feel very spoiled, 2 videos in 1 day 😆😆. Watching your previous video is making want to get Philodendron Mamei or Splendid. I am still debating should I get both or one of them
If you're getting only one, I would go with splendid. Just because it's so easy! Mamei is beautiful too, just gotta be on the watch for spider mites haha.
Those moss poles i see in North Tropicals they fold the plastic then fill the substrates and stick into the pot with the plants seems to be quicker to do. Than the other way around that you did. I am not a fan of moss poles i like my plants trailing. The moss poles i like the plants growing all the way around instead just the front and the rest of the areas bare.
How often do you change your water in the water proposition, i do it weekly but it takes so much time, just wondering if it’s necessary to do it so often Take care of yourself Fern
I don't change the water out unless the plant is at high risk for rot or there's dead leaves etc. I should have been changing the amydrium one more frequently because some of the cuttings were dead. If the cuttings are all healthy I just top it up.
Can you “un-do” a moss pole without hurting the plant? I am thinking of changing one I just got in the mail to a tall plain piece of wood instead of the moss pole it came with.

Hey Fern, I love you and your videos (and also a fellow vegan, yay!). Just a thought: have you heard of or considered getting a Jiaogulan plant? It's a very beautiful trailing plant that is actually used for tea. You can dry the leaves or have them fresh in hot water. It has amazing health benefits, but the main one is a huge reduction in stress. Do a little research on it if you're interested. I have mine growing amongst all my tropical plants, and it grows well and fast. Just a thought. TAKE CARE x
Hey thank you so much for sharing this. I have never heard of it before, but I will be keeping eye out for one. Did you just find it at a garden centre/plant shop?
@@wildfern I live in Australia, so I'm not sure where you'll find it. I think you'll probably need to buy it online from a herb store, or on eBay(that's where I got mine). Should be super cheap, you'll be so happy with it! And you can also add it to other teas. Xx
Would love to purchase some of your rooted cuttings from this plant!! Please let me know if they are available. Im just getting started in the plant collecting hobby. It wont be a business for me since I am an older senior citizen and have a very small home!!👏👍😊😊😊
I hope YOU felt better after this potting session, because you certainly made ME feel better. The combination of the soft music and minimal editing was soothing. Who knew watching another person press moss down a tube using chopsticks would be so relaxing!
Loveeeee the music during the moss pole-making! I want to know how I can find this track.

Woww that second plant almost looks like a monstera peru and rhaphidophora tetrasperma mix😍
The pole used for the sub is basically a refined version of Charmaines lazy pole.

Basically never lol. Maybe every few months. Thank you for watching!!
you maybe wasnt feeling on pare but you looked great like your hair that way super cute. plants are always beautiful . hope you enjoyed your getaway.
I had a one vine lubbersiana and I cut it back to the last variegated leaf then gave it a lot of light and the variegation came back.
Hmm maybe I will have to give mine a trim - thank you!
I hope this repotting you need to do relaxes you and helps you feel better so you can enjoy your weekend away.

What do you place underneath planters that have a hole in the bottom like the one you put the Hoya in?
That little ceramic pot is a cute find!! AND it has a drainage hole! Where did you get it?
Found it locally, sorry no link to share for it :( But I know right, it's so cute, caught my eye right away.

Amazing thank you!
I love begonias! I have one angel wing.
They are so lovely 😊
I love that Hoya so much!😍
It's such a little cutie!
Catching up on videos and watched this while potting up tomato and pepper seedlings (that should be outside already but shh lol)
Yayyy for veggie potting 🙌🍅🫑
Thumbs up! I have to repot about 10 plants 😮.
