definitely the best recording of Bari Bari Good that i’ve heard. the bari sax player reminds me of Leo P, except a bit less all over the place, and more organized. still, i like how he uses the high notes as punctuation, and his tone is top-notch. i was kind of surprised with how long the solo was, but this is Bari Bari Good, so it makes sense, and it works well too. so, i guess you could say this was a... bari good performance *nickelodeon laugh track*
It's a lovely old East German 'Weltklang' bari - great speed, punchy, pity the overall recorded band sound came out a bit tinny, but great bit of soloing nevertheless. Well done !
I solo'd on the Bari Sax for this song and while this kid did an OK job.....He / his instructor CHOPPED this song up so bad. There are so many really cool lines in the song that this kid/ his instructor just cut out (maybe to hard for the kid). If you can't play a song because it's to difficult then maybe try another song. Having to speed it up to cover additional mistakes...I mean....bad instructor most likely.
I’m playing this song rn but I’m also in middle school so it’s shorter, yet the D.S. Al coda jumps basically back to the beginning of the song which in this case it didn’t. They must’ve cut it then
You should send in a recording of you playing the solo so we can really tell what you mean! I started transcribing this for a young player that is playing the tune in his high school band. I didn't hear any better recordings on TH-cam.
im loving the sound of that Bari with the mic. Its so punchy and perfect.

in my opinion A: Silver saxes are not worth it and B: It sounds like shit, but nice job dude you shredded that song
way to fast
i like it more upbeat, the extra speed is nice in my opinion.
*too
Nice speed, needs to be punchy or it drags. Really great playing on a Weltklang bari - love it
