Please could you tell me if there is another kind of oil filter for this car because i just got a new oil filter from Halfords and it doesn't look like the onne you used. It looks like the paper bit inside! It also comes with a large black O ring. I think they have given me the inside part of the filter. Am i to try to take the inside out of the old onne? I am a bit worried about it because all the other suppliers also tried to sell me this type of interior paper filter. Normally when i take the filter off i have to stab a screwdriver through the exterior metal part of the filter to get a good grip to twist it off. This time i'm worried it will not be usable if i do that. Please advise!

do a search on online part finder websites and check what they gave you.typically the oil filter is a metal can that inside has the filter.when you install it you just tighten it with your hand and a little bit more.

use a piece of rubber. size of your hand. Easy to open oil filter and more.

or in gymnastics shops the straps.

Φιλε κάνεις ωραία δουλειά, αλλά αρκετά λάθη στα ανταλλακτικά.
Αλλάζεις γνήσιο φίλτρο λαδιού και βαζεις ιμιτασιον. Γιατί να μην βάλεις γνήσιο που εχει ελάχιστη διαφορά τιμής;
Δεύτερον, βάζεις Castrol αλλα αν είδα καλα 10/40 αν είδα καλά.
Γιατί; η Φίατ ζηταει 5/40 και μπορούσες να βαλεις με προδιαγραφές για αυτό το μοτέρ.
Φιλικά, αλλά δεν παίζεις με τα λιπαντικά... ;) κατι ξέρουν οι κατασκευαστές παραπάνω.

τί ακριβως σε εμπόδιζε να βγάλεις το φιλτρο λαδιού;

το φιλτρο θελει εναν ειδικο σφυγκτηρα,σαν ενα λαστιχενιο loop που το σφιγγεις και φρακαρει περιμετρικα του φιλτρου.εγω δεν ειχα κατι.μονο χερια.ε, και γι'αυτο ηταν αδυνατο.τελικα πηρα εναν μεγαλο καβουρα και το ξεβιδωσα,αφου το στραπατσαρισα λιγακι βεβαια.το σφυξιμο ωστοσο γινεται με το χερι!θα αλλαξεις στο δικο σου?

I'm sure it's 2.8 lt to be precise, including the capacity of the oil filter :-)
