Good thing there's closed captioning because your microphone sucks. I still gave you a thumbs up though as I always do for creators who have good ideas. A good way to seal the bag is by using one of those machines that creates freezer bags. It seals perfectly, but it does cut off the excess plastic so bear that in mind when you create your pattern.

Could you use an old hair straightener that’s not being used to seal the bag on the lowest setting
Have you tried transparent sticker paper? That might be a better option. It is transparent like waterslide paper, but stickier.

Instead of water slide labels, print them on clear sticker paper if the slides don't work.
