I think grenades will only make the camping worse as when you enter a base there will just be 3 grenades flying in all directions and 3 players shooting at you
suggestions: bring back old overdrives bring back the old UI's delete drones and flying tanks and last thing BRING BACK THE OLD UPGRADES !! I hate the Mk1-7 system and lots of players too bring back the 3 upgrades so you actually see your tank evolving

I absolutely agree about the medium rank matchmaking issue. My gs is around 5000 and I constantly play against legends with 50% protections (and ofc they immediately equip the ones against me when I kill them 1 time) while I haven't even unlocked them yet.

These new burst damage augments that are designed to one shot you in half a second are really hurting the game. Like you said, I don’t blame normal tankers to just camp anymore when these augments exist, and tanki continues to pump even more of them out. Also, I think melee turret pulsars and Vulcan pulsar is still a problem. This is the worst when it comes to status effects in general, and tanki need to take a look at them again
Do protective modules exist for beauty? What's the problem with wearing them? There are only 3 broken augments in this game, and they are - assault magazines, faust, and hydra.

They shifted that to General rank so lower ranking players are sitting ducks until they hit general, and then they're getting tossed into battles with hardcore fully stacked legends that just see them as easy kills. The protections cost so much if you're lucky enough to get them in a box that it would be impossible for a lower ranking player to adequately defend against these players. They won't make enough crystals because higher ranking players have higher ranking gs and they're going to get most of the kills and most of the points. There are very few situations where that is not the case. When it cost 65000cry to rank up a protection module 1 spot and it's still insignificant to defend against these players, there is a problem. The majority of these players, and a lot of the Legends, seem to feel Tanki is feeding these players to them to keep their kd count up because without it they wouldn't play as often.

Exactly and obstruction and spawn killing have become the only way some of these teams win games. Spending 8 minutes getting spawn killed is not anyone's idea of fun. They do nothing at all about this, but heaven forbid you criticize the game or the devs. That's an instant nerf and/or ban.
I just rediscovered this game I started playing this game when I was 12 years old. Me and my friends used to play this on our laptops at school together. We had the whole class playing this together.
I remember, idk 2016 or 2017, but i started playing it, and eventually got so many gems i bought the best hull straight away its name was mammoth i think, and there used to be like no drones, no skin buffs, no payments, nothing. Just dumb fun. Turrets like Thunder and that machiine gun, isida, railgun, and even Shaft, i remember how hard it was to master Shaft, my teammates gave me the name snipe god due to that, ahh good times, now its just stupidity at its peak

Us veterans can relate to this state of the game the most my man... The devs have to understand that what we criticize/cry/complain about the game is for the better and longevity of it. Sure I can quit the game but when I've been playing it since 2011 its very hard to see it like this because I still love the game and I want it to be as good/popular as it was back then. I completely agree with all of the points you mentioned and its sad. I feel like the talk you did with hazel was a breakthrough (with pulsar) and they should really try communicating with the community live way more often (English community). Addressing all of the current problems of the game live is way better than through feedback.

They might get more player base than at its peak.
I cant play tanki on my account anymore because i'm just in range where i play against legends, they got 50% prot against everything, i max prot is 14%, and thats just against firebird, the only thing i got thats mk7-20 is ares, everything else is mk6. There are way to many players in legends than any other rank. If i didnt have pulsar for smokey i couldnt play because without getting some OP argument like helios etc which allows you to do fast dmg in a short timeframe you're lucky if you get a 0.25 kd. +The legends i get to play against are hella toxic, someone trashtalking you because he is 5 ranks above yours and has 50 prot with only mk7-20 best argument is wild.

The only matchmakings i get is with people with over 7k GS while i only have max 5k I keep getting one shot and cant even spawn Some turrets just got way to overpowered
i just miss the old launcher old hobie the crazy moments we fought for golden box and crazy rooms with classic hulls and weapons now it seems off after every update i just play it in browser mode whenever i remember the good old days

I've also noticed in older tanki, knockback was a fun and real skill. You aimed at the edges of tanks to knock off their aim. But not that simply doesnt exist
The reason you are getting low views is not about the videos but the real reason is day by day people are leaving tanki and the community since 2015. For me tanki online is the best game ever. I started playing it when I was 6 years old or maybe even before(around 2010) and I loved to see the devs talking about the game every week(I'm fluent russian) and rn, the game looks like fortnite on Low settings, lime wtf you doing to earn money you are not cs2/go. You are game from another reality. They should bring back the times when players appreciated one another, and played together. The times of 2010-2015.
I think the worst part is in my opinion with being a free to play player is that the massive disadvantage with gs score and or levels. On my low level account which is 3 boxes( don’t remember level name) and having a 3200 gs score. I’m going against level 3 red stars and that has a gs score of 7200. And that is half my lobby’s. It’s essentially me with m1 combos going against m3 combos and it’s just enjoyable getting one shotted. I miss the balance of the game in 2018-2020
I agree with many of the points you mentioned in this video, but what really catches my attention is the low number of players! It's getting smaller and smaller... that's a terrible warning sign :0 I'm a legend, I have a good account, with good augments, and it's very common to fall with very low ranks, with very low GS. It's good for us, but for the person facing me it's hell xD
No one wants to play. It is not that the game is too complex, it is because the devs do not try and make the game balanced and interesting. It used to be CTF was the best mode and frequently you would win or lose by capping a flag as time expired. It was exciting and fun. Now EVERY match is a 7-0 blowout, typically with MM putting me on the side getting drubbed. Win or lose these matches are not fun or interesting.
The lag does not happen to me anymore. Well today only. If they seriously want grenades, they should make it a rule that grenades can only be used by short ranged turrets since they are the most disadvantaged in large maps.
Increased price of the store, drastic reduction in obtaining f2p tankoins, long events and few new features. You know, either the game is bad economically or they just want to make a profit while ignoring quality.
Every single thing you said is true, but now Tanki's new rules have punishments for any criticism at all regardless of whether it is constructive or not. Anyway, love the video and agree wholeheartedly. It's frustrating that they're just not listening at all. I think the only way to actually get to them is going to be through a wide blackout of the game until they fix it. Especially after yesterday's nonsense with the Contracts Event. People were in chat saying they couldn't access the event market and even though they said we would be able to buy stuff even if there wasn't enough event currency, a lot of players were saying they couldn't and that feature was not there. Some were saying the market was only up for about a half an hour and then it wasn't accessible anymore. I didn't have any trouble with any of this but if they're going to add punitive measures for criticism when they're doing everything they can to earn that criticism, what do they expect? Right now they're basically telling us they don't want to hear what we have to say and they're not interested in actually working the problems.
recently they have added bots to the game, this only solved the long wait queue for joining a MM battle, but most battles are now 3-4 real players on both teams and the rest just 20 bots which are really making the gameplay annoying.
yeah low player base is problem i decided to create new account and as usual i automatically joined Deatmatch sandbox and i was alone on server. i have created countless accounts throughout years in tanki and this has never happened
What i hate the most is that they made it too complex It used to be simple And fun but now you gotta care about overdrives druggers snipers with whole a$$ turrets. If you get pointed by scorpio misiles you are good as dead. And know everyone is getting paid bundles with crates where they get augments like Helios ( f it) You dont know how to react you dont know if the ricochet has Helios. But ppl pay just to be above and to shoot you every steps you get You cant take cover either Magnum thunder striker and scorpio wont let you In the good ol days the only problem was druggers and shaft noobs. Yup, I'm glad the game was banned in my country now, seeing as how far it has fallen afterwards. I'm not glad about tanki X though, that game could have been the clean slate needed to revive tanki.
I came back and was killing it.... Until they changed the pass and did the keys update... Had to sadly stop playing! I hope they do something to make me see it fit and worth it to return!!! I love this game
last time i logged in i saw i could only earn like 5 keys or something even if i decided to spend probably a few hours i just logged off without even trying to play, at this point you barely get crystals from just playing the game unless you are opening containers, i absolutely miss trying to rank up as much as possible before black friday to use all the crystals on the sales.. now its like you grind all day for a rank and get nothing
but back then you could just buy a kit for 18k crystals and get mk1 turret, hull, and a paint all before your actual level. the same for mk2 and mk3 kits. you never had to buy turrets and hulls alone or never needed to upgrade just buy kits and get better stuff early on. i think it was more f2p then because those kits dont exist now at all.
I remember coming across this game back in 2016 and there were so much good stuff in the game. When 2018 rolled in, disaster struck. Most games came with free pass season pass strategy and the pay 2 win system became a norm in games. Sad to see even TO took up on this p2w strat. They could have kept a lot of the old stuff instead of making updates and changing the old good stuff. JGR game as a great improvement and after that all hell broke loose. Cut to 2024 the game is more p2w. just logged in and found the shop way more expensive than before :P sad they really went down the p2w rabbit hole. does not feel like the old TO i used to play before the awful overdrive updates... And sure updates like some good stuff and drones are nice updates, but purchases definitely are a steal!
i started playing tanki in 2010, i partily quit in 2016/10 ( that was the MAJOR balance changes ) weeks later after that time, they started to mass release new shit colorful alien tech updates and it stayed like that till today. i kept playing once a week till late 2019, then started playing once every few months, and at 2021 i totally quit the game.
It simply does not make sense for the game to have the largest staff that it's ever had yet be unable to have new features released at a faster pace. There obviously should be a correlation between amount of developers on staff and the speed at which updates are completed due to more workers being available to build features, balance economy, fix bugs, etc. How is this inconsistency slipping by?

Used to play tanki only for the esports side of tanki where I became very known in no time which was only xp/bp or light format after changes kept coming and coming it made no sense anymore to play it since it’s not the same they changed up the formats ,rules etc that’s where my journey ended and seeing how tanki now is completely a joke I don’t know how people still play it
Tanki started dying when they removed flash version, adding hopper and tesla , adding the drones and the Overdrives , i quited in 2022 , i only play on events without ods and augs and drones , for nostalgia

Spot on assessment. The game has become boring and stale. Every match is a blowout and there are so many OP augs in the wild gameplay is absurd. Players have no reason to stay in a match to get destroyed for 200 crystals. Tanki would be better off spending their time creating new maps instead of breaking turrets and nerfing them. Dont even get me started with light hulls, which are impossible to use unless you like respawning every 10 seconds. In short, the game utterly sucks now and it has caused me to stop playing for the most part. Started playing almost 12 years ago and it is a bummer to see.
Lets not forget the brokenness of mines. CTF is unplayable now since people can spam mines for days and sit and hide so you cant touch them. HOW DO THE DEVs NOT UNDERSTAND THIS???? That I really want to know is why they dont fix things that are so obviously broken in the game. It is maddening.

No, that doesn’t make sense. Grenades are countered by movement, so if you are rushing, they pose no threat.
Nah speed can counter gernades, also splash damage radius would be alot less than it is in events and also damage might be less too
But camping is already a problem, grenades is gonna make it imposible to capture unless there is communication between teammates

I've also noticed in older tanki, knockback was a fun and real skill. You aimed at the edges of tanks to knock off their aim. But not that simply doesnt exist
The reason you are getting low views is not about the videos but the real reason is day by day people are leaving tanki and the community since 2015. Its very hard to watch the game die when I played it back in the old days where it was soo much fun 😥

@Taspens you might want to do a live, that is if you've finished going thru all the rules etc they just posted, as well as some cool looking stuff. But those rules... Seem so broken some players get away with all those things they are claiming to protect it's players from!
For me tanki online is the best game ever.
I started playing it when I was 6 years old or maybe even before(around 2010) and I loved to see the devs talking about the game every week(I'm fluent russian) and rn, the game looks like fortnite on Low settings, lime wtf you doing to earn money you are not cs2/go.
You are game from another reality. They should bring back the times when players appreciated one another, and played together. The times of 2010-2015.

I think the worst part is in my opinion with being a free to play player is that the massive disadvantage with gs score and or levels. On my low level account which is 3 boxes( don’t remember level name) and having a 3200 gs score. I’m going against level 3 red stars and that has a gs score of 7200. And that is half my lobby’s. It’s essentially me with m1 combos going against m3 combos and it’s just enjoyable getting one shotted. I miss the balance of the game in 2018-2020

I'm a legend, I have a good account, with good augments, and it's very common to fall with very low ranks, with very low GS. It's good for us, but for the person facing me it's hell xD
No one wants to play. It is not that the game is too complex, it is because the devs do not try and make the game balanced and interesting. It used to be CTF was the best mode and frequently you would win or lose by capping a flag as time expired. It was exciting and fun. Now EVERY match is a 7-0 blowout, typically with MM putting me on the side getting drubbed. Win or lose these matches are not fun or interesting.

The lag does not happen to me anymore. Well today only. If they seriously want grenades, they should make it a rule that grenades can only be used by short ranged turrets since they are the most disadvantaged in large maps.
Increased price of the store, drastic reduction in obtaining f2p tankoins, long events and few new features. You know, either the game is bad economically or they just want to make a profit while ignoring quality.

Every single thing you said is true, but now Tanki's new rules have punishments for any criticism at all regardless of whether it is constructive or not. Anyway, love the video and agree wholeheartedly. It's frustrating that they're just not listening at all. I think the only way to actually get to them is going to be through a wide blackout of the game until they fix it. Especially after yesterday's nonsense with the Contracts Event. People were in chat saying they couldn't access the event market and even though they said we would be able to buy stuff even if there wasn't enough event currency, a lot of players were saying they couldn't and that feature was not there. Some were saying the market was only up for about a half an hour and then it wasn't accessible anymore. I didn't have any trouble with any of this but if they're going to add punitive measures for criticism when they're doing everything they can to earn that criticism, what do they expect? Right now they're basically telling us they don't want to hear what we have to say and they're not interested in actually working the problems.
recently they have added bots to the game, this only solved the long wait queue for joining a MM battle, but most battles are now 3-4 real players on both teams and the rest just 20 bots which are really making the gameplay annoying.
I really hate the unfair match-making, imagine being paired with LEGENDS when you are no where near to their level…
well thats because there are now barely any new players playing this game, most of the players still active in this game are legends

played roughly 3.5k hours of tanki between 2013 and 2016 but unfortunately after 2016 the game was already in a basically unplayable state.
yeah low player base is problem i decided to create new account and as usual i automatically joined Deatmatch sandbox and i was alone on server. i have created countless accounts throughout years in tanki and this has never happened

Yup, I'm glad the game was banned in my country now, seeing as how far it has fallen afterwards. I'm not glad about tanki X though, that game could have been the clean slate needed to revive tanki.
I came back and was killing it.... Until they changed the pass and did the keys update... Had to sadly stop playing! I hope they do something to make me see it fit and worth it to return!!! I love this game
last time i logged in i saw i could only earn like 5 keys or something even if i decided to spend probably a few hours i just logged off without even trying to play, at this point you barely get crystals from just playing the game unless you are opening containers, i absolutely miss trying to rank up as much as possible before black friday to use all the crystals on the sales.. now its like you grind all day for a rank and get nothing

but back then you could just buy a kit for 18k crystals and get mk1 turret, hull, and a paint all before your actual level. the same for mk2 and mk3 kits. you never had to buy turrets and hulls alone or never needed to upgrade just buy kits and get better stuff early on. i think it was more f2p then because those kits dont exist now at all.

I remember coming across this game back in 2016 and there were so much good stuff in the game. When 2018 rolled in, disaster struck. Most games came with free pass season pass strategy and the pay 2 win system became a norm in games. Sad to see even TO took up on this p2w strat. They could have kept a lot of the old stuff instead of making updates and changing the old good stuff. JGR game as a great improvement and after that all hell broke loose.
Cut to 2024 the game is more p2w. just logged in and found the shop way more expensive than before :P sad they really went down the p2w rabbit hole. does not feel like the old TO i used to play before the awful overdrive updates...
And sure updates like some good stuff and drones are nice updates, but purchases definitely are a steal!

i started playing tanki in 2010, i partily quit in 2016/10 ( that was the MAJOR balance changes ) weeks later after that time, they started to mass release new shit colorful alien tech updates and it stayed like that till today. i kept playing once a week till late 2019, then started playing once every few months, and at 2021 i totally quit the game.
Honestly. Removing product kits from the garage to buy with crystals was a bad idea. Thats the reason i abandoned 5 colonel accounts.
It simply does not make sense for the game to have the largest staff that it's ever had yet be unable to have new features released at a faster pace. There obviously should be a correlation between amount of developers on staff and the speed at which updates are completed due to more workers being available to build features, balance economy, fix bugs, etc. How is this inconsistency slipping by?

Used to play tanki only for the esports side of tanki where I became very known in no time which was only xp/bp or light format after changes kept coming and coming it made no sense anymore to play it since it’s not the same they changed up the formats ,rules etc that’s where my journey ended and seeing how tanki now is completely a joke I don’t know how people still play it

Tanki started dying when they removed flash version, adding hopper and tesla , adding the drones and the Overdrives , i quited in 2022 , i only play on events without ods and augs and drones , for nostalgia

Spot on assessment. The game has become boring and stale. Every match is a blowout and there are so many OP augs in the wild gameplay is absurd. Players have no reason to stay in a match to get destroyed for 200 crystals. Tanki would be better off spending their time creating new maps instead of breaking turrets and nerfing them. Dont even get me started with light hulls, which are impossible to use unless you like respawning every 10 seconds. In short, the game utterly sucks now and it has caused me to stop playing for the most part. Started playing almost 12 years ago and it is a bummer to see.

Lets not forget the brokenness of mines. CTF is unplayable now since people can spam mines for days and sit and hide so you cant touch them. HOW DO THE DEVs NOT UNDERSTAND THIS???? That I really want to know is why they dont fix things that are so obviously broken in the game. It is maddening.

The only way Ill get back into tanki is if they come back with an even better game that basically removes all the flaws you've named in this video, which I highly doubt since tanki X was just a joke from what ive seen, as a beta tester.
