Inspiring build/restoration. We have a Honda Civic VTi Bigote purchased by my Dad in 1998. Used as a family car but has recently seen better days. Car is still running but the exterior and interior is in bad shape. I currently drive a 2020 Civic but I badly want to restore our 98 bigote since it has been a witness to our family’s milestones. Medyo mahirap na humanap ng surplus chin ngayon pero i think may makukuha ka pang brand new for a price. I'll check sa shop if may available pang used.
Late comment, pero I just wanna know that Civic like this or the EK Hatchback (that I usually encounter sometimes) has a big impact on me and actually the main reason why I've became a car enthusiast in the first place!!! I remember that when I was at the age of 4 yrs old, sumasakay ako sa EK hatch ng dad ko noon and everytime na ginagamit namin yun like kapag pupunta kami sa iba't-ibang lugar or kahit yung simpleng sprited driving (also known as Touge Run) lang sa canyon roads like sa Tagaytay or Los Baños Laguna, sobrang abot sa langit lagi yung ngiti at tuwa ko nun!!! As in!! Yung tipong mapapaiyak ka na lang siguro sa tuwa!!! And yun din, di mo din maipaliwanag basta basta kung bakit mo sobrang love yung sasakyan na yun. So yeah anyways, yun yung naging connection tas bond ko din sa dad ko and everytime na makakakita ako ng Civic na ganyang model whether it's a 2 door hatch, coupe, or 4 door sedan, I always feel like I'm at home and lahat ng mga nostalgic memories na meron ako, lumalabas siya ganun!! Especially kapag nakasakay ako dun habang pinapatugtog namin yung fav namin na kanta ng dad ko!!! I'm so grateful for all of it and salamat po kuya for posting this vid!!! I'm sorry for this long essay length comment!! It's just, it really means a lot to me!!! Hopefully I'd be able to get myself a Civic like that here in Dubai, UAE someday especially napaka rare na nyan dito since nga puro naka supercar mga tao dito which is I also love it naman!! Nakakamiss na talaga ang Pinas!!! Almost 4 years na akong nakatira dito!!! Hopefully makauwi ako soon kahit bakasyon lang tapos sakay ako sa mga kakilala or kamag anak ko na may ganyan!! Lastly, dream car ko is Authentic Spoon Sports EK9 Type R or Base model Civic with Type R Engine and Spoon Sports parts!! Again, sorry for this long comment and thank you po!!! I just can't really help it but to express my deepest love and connection for that car and because of it, it led me to pursue my dream career which is mechanical engineering and lam niyo po yun, it also gave me a vision for my future din soon!!!! So yeah, all of this actually started by just riding that EK that we have before (sadly it got sold for a financial reasons), need for speed games like Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Gran Turismo, tapos yung mga old DVDs ng Video Option, Hot version and Best Motoring Official's if alam niyo po yun. Basically those 3 that I've mentioned are channels about testing tuner cars from tuner shops sa mga touge roads tas track racing din and yung mga time attack videos din sa circuit ganun, try niyo din pong panoorin minsan if may time kayo, I'd say for sure na magaganda din yung contents din nila and malay niyo po ma-inspire din kayong gumawa din ng content niyo po sa channel na ito, who knows diba hahahah so anyways, dun po yun nagsimula lahat and here I am now!! Salamat ulit po paps!! It's really inspiring din especially for other car enthusiast din!!!

I'd love to find another option to reroute my antenna. I'd like to also know what kind of dashboard is in his because it's slightly different than mine. Thanks in advance

I wish to God I could speak the language in this video. I'd love to know what kind of power antenna that is and what kind of dashboard is on that. The car is almost identical to my 97 Honda Civic LX. I have an antenna delete plate on mine where the stock one used to be. I'd love to have an option like that if I could tell what they were saying when explaining it. If anyone on here is bilingual, I'd appreciate some help.
Sorry about that, adding subtitles is a pain to do and takes a lot of time. Anyway, yours is an LX right? So that means your antenna is mounted on the front windshield pillar?
It's actually on the driverside top. I deleted it and bought a delete plate to cover it. Was looking to re route it and I seen how his was mounted in the back. I'd love to know what kind of antenna he's using as an option for myself
If you like to install the power antenna, tou need to pull off the one on the front pillar and use the antenna delete/block off. The power antenna on the other hand needs to be mounted on the rear panel driver side, if you go and check the inside panel, theres and mark on where you need to drill the hole. You just have to make sure that you get the correct power antenna for the civic ek so you wont have problems with the brackets and rings. Hope this helps.

@@dalelitteral9459 its an original power antenna for the ek VTI trim here in the Philippines. I think you can also use the one on the integra but you still need to change the hole rings and the bracket.
