This process produces incinerator residues of bottom ash and lime of approximately 10% of the original volume of waste. The resulting bottom ash and waste lime are classed as recycled materials and are collected from our facilities by approved contractors for reuse. The steam and heat produced by the process is either used to generate electricity or is used in local heating schemes.

The trailers being loaded was a bi product known as spent lime and carbon which is used to combat the negative emissions. They don’t sell that they have to pay to get that taken away. But all done compliantly with the environment agency regulations. Nothing to worry about at this site. This site does have a heliex machine which does pump energy back into the grid.

Some still do, but your local GP, dentist, vet, tattoo/piercing parlour etc don’t so an outside facility is required. Most of the hospital based incinerators are run under contract by a company like this, Cliniwaste, Sharpsmart etc.

The red machine theyre loading is a shredder, they eat just about anything you put in them including entire running vehicles and spit out 50p sized chunks!
