This is how the OG soul food was supposed to sound like. He wasn’t in the position to get the sample clearance back in the day. But him being in the position he’s in now he was able to pay for this version of the beat and use it for SF2. Anyone who was on his livestream for the album debut may remember when he spoke about it.

I love LOGIC'S rhymes but I think the true beauty of him is the sound/tonal quality of his voice...it's just so smooth...and so is his flow...which is also never ending and appears to be almost automatic.

Throughout the album he's been using lines from the No Pressure freestyle. Sprinkled here and there and he's changed some of the bars.
His “last” album hit so different. Takes me back to that young Sinatra and I fuck with this album so hard. Great album and this is the best track to me.
