"I want to be helpful, but I am just a big nuissance," sums it up well. This Korean traveler is well intentioned but culturally insensitive with the constant close-up filming of the natives (which dehumanizes them) and flash of electronics as a a show of "moderness"--a common if stupid (any savvy independent traveler knows it attracts criminals in the 3rd world) means of patronizing people from developing countries commonly seen among some Europeans but many Asian travelers. He made an excellent effort of showing the details and contexts of the journey though very loud and crude, which defeats the attempt to convey story-telling in a discrete, respectful way. The music and accompanying narrative is very good--in Vietnamese, English and Thai though not Myanmarese. I think it's well intention and without malice so it's ok. Overall, he does show reverence for the local culture and people in general so this is an enjoyable, informative travel blog~!
I thought he carried himself well. He respected and appreciated the people and their way of life. He was careful and really submerged himself to the culture. Looks like he enjoyed his time there.
This video was long time ago, now all the people can have mobile phone. Under the military dictatorship era mobile sim card are ridiculously high price, its more expensive than a house.

Thanks for your love. I am from Myanmar. I agree that we are geographically inseparable from India. But we are not historically a proportion of India. British insert Myanmar into India and they separated in the end as before.
We have our distinct identity and different cultural and traditional values. Myanmar is also diverse with many ethnic groups and they aren't also considered themselves as Burmese (Myanmarese).
