They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may seem an eyesore to one person, just might be a beautiful masterpiece to another. There are places beloved by communities and protected in the hearts of those that hold their memories of its tattered hallways and decayed rooms dear. This is the way that we feel when we explore places that have been forgotten by time. Left to rot and decay and only holding the silent whispers of what once was. We know that there are people out there with malicious intent toward these places that we venture into. It saddens us when we see the filth and destruction they leave behind, but we want to make something very clear… We are explorers and lovers of history. We in no way, shape or form condone the criminal activities that take place in the historical decaying places that we document. Social media has brought many of these places to the limelight, but the intention is to show the beauty and mystery of abandonment. Not to invite trouble. Trouble will find its way

So many random things there. I was surprised by the 2017 calendar as the place looked more 1970's with the blue bathroom.

You are so right! It definitely had a 70’s vibe to it! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment!☺️☺️

Cool house & great video of this home! Hope someone steps up and saves it before it gets much worse as I can see where after sorting junk from items worth saving (those old sewing machines in the garage as one example of many?) clean up then update starting with all new metal roof on everything; new furnace & A/C plus update electrical and plumbing; repaint inside/outside and other things - that would be a very nice home! Hate seeing it just sitting there slowly rotting away.....
As you state in the first sentence of your comment - "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" & I too can see where that could be a nice beautiful home again for a family for years to come!

Back in the day this home was probably very cozy to live in. Always sad to see these homes abandoned with stuff left behind. I remember my grandfather had a little work area in the basement apartment with all kinds of glass jars for nails, screws, washers and other assorted parts. Cool little explore my friend 🤠🌲🍃

Thank you for watching and commenting! It's crazy how many of these houses that are abandoned just full of stuff as if the people just up and left. We've done SO MANY of these and it's baffling!

When I see these homes that are abandoned like this the first thought that comes to mind is Witness Protection Program!

I used to drive by this everyday and wanted to go in around 2020 when it wasn't fully over grown yet was too afraid someone was still there. Now I know it was abandoned for 3 years by then lol

Not gonna lie, that’s very similar to our new house in layout😂 Cape Cod design. Looks like someone up and left or… perished.

I wonder who's bad idea it was to think tile kitchen counter tops were a good idea?
They're downright unsanitary when you think about it.
Thanks for the tour you two!
