Life is too short to be miserable. I walked away from my narc siblings 5 years ago. The peace and happiness to pursue my hobbies and interests is such a blessing. God has saved me from them and like you I am super careful about attaching to new people.

great word, the one thing many don't think about is Jesus said, pray for those who hurt you, these people are the devils puppet and because of their pride have no desire to seek truth. We were once in the darkness of unbelief, I feel sorry for these people because they are blinded. All we can do is pray for them and move on. Most of those who have a good heart don't like to see other's suffer. Jesus said, whatever house you enter into, (social interaction) and they do not receive you wipe the dust off your feet. meaning don't take their demons with you, stay in God's word and protection. Having spiritual discernment especially today is crucial, pray for wisdom and discernment it is an internal alarm and you will start to hear the enemy speak through people. suffer them not to speak, over your life and your journey with Christ. Hey man, thanks for the video, it gives me hope to see that you've escaped and become financially independent. I want to ask, how did you deal with the intense shame they put in you? I'm assuming you had that because narcissist love to shame us any chance they get. I'm very full of shame, and it's hard to function because of it.

Boxing training is the best cure against depression. Boxing makes you mentally and physically stronger. There is a great sportsmanship in boxing gyms.
Boxing and wresting/BJJ here. It may not be everything, but it DOES help.
