4-in-Hand Team of Miniature Horses, May 2009

Training our 4-in-Hand Driving Team of Miniature Horses in the UK. This is the first show season for our young team of 4 matched black geldings. They have been going forward too fast with the leaders doing too much work so this session was to get them to work as a team, develop a more collected trot and to make neater changes of direction. One of the leaders gets frustrated with being checked, but he is getting better each time out.

Hi,
Thanks for your concern - we looked at this one ourselves. It's not very clear in the video but when lifting the tails back by hand, the traces and the the evener prevent the them from coming into contact with any moving part. There is a good 3 inch gap. Thanks again for raising your concern.
