When I thought I was saved I could sin and not think much about it. Now that God has actually changed my heart I know when I sin and immediately have conviction of it and hate it. I find myself constantly aware of my actions and want to be faithful to my God!

I’m so glad you’re addressing this topic of continuing, practicing in sin. I know a preacher man who lies about everything. I’m not sure why he does this, but it seems so unnecessary to me. He’s aware of this sin, however, he’s not remorseful.

🤎 Corey, you have no idea how helpful this video was. Since I came to Christ two years ago out of the occult, I have had crippling anxiety because I’m living with my partner (I have had for many years before I came to Christ) and we are not married. I can’t leave him because I’m disabled and he takes care of me and our family. I love him so much and I pray for his salvation every day, praying he wants to be married. *BELIEVE ME* I do NOT want to live in sin. I feel convicted. I’m praying for him with the elders of my church regularly. I lay my life and his life in the hands of the Father. Praying for forgiveness.
After watching this video, I feel more at ease. My heart is in the right place and focused on God. Please pray for us. 🤎

God is concerned about eternal life, not this one. You are to "be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect." God is convincing you because you need to leave. This isn't a matter of "but my heart is in the right place." Sin is sin. "Repent, or you too shall all perish."

Thank you for this. Since I became a true Christian 6 years ago, this question has plagued me day and night, woken me up nightly and tormented me. The weight felt unbearable. I constantly wanted to do right, and would improve but would eventually slip. I couldn’t stand myself and wanted to be separate from the body and with the Lord. This video has been an encouragement to remember that sanctification is a process and will not be fulfilled until we meet our savior.

God knows that we're going to slip and fall sometimes because we are still in the flesh, and the flesh is sinful. That's the reason for God's grace and mercy that He has for us. Can a Christian live in sin??? No! It's a one-word answer, and it doesn't need an explanation, or a sermon, if they know God's word and as a Christian, they should know and obey His word. Not only Christians, NOBODY should live in sin, but some people do anyway because they're being disobedient to God.

One thing about sin people are excluding is self control and discipline. You can't overcome sin if you don't enforce it. The devil will always tempt and offer sin to you. You have to make the choice to change and stop it. God is not just going to take everything away. The Bible says resist the devil and he will flee. The Bible also says give no place to the devil. Sometimes its just people doesn't have the discipline and self-control to stop doing it. God and Holy Spirit can help us but sometimes we just have to resist it or give no place to it.

I agree we have to put the flesh under but we can not misquote the text because the most important part is the first half of the scripture …The Bible says “submit to god and resist the devil and he will flee”

@@926paaja You have to have self-control it's call free will and choices. We still have choices even though we are save. God is not going to do everything for you. One of the fruits of the spirit is self-control. For example if I want to study for a test I got to have discipline and self-control. I'm not going to pass a test because I gave my life to Christ. Another example is im married and very attractive woman come on to me. I got to tell her no God not going to do it for me. Obeying the law is a choice for example I got to stop at a red light I can't pray for God to stop my car for me. Discipline and self-control is a spirit of God we have enforce that. Hebrew 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. That scripture says we have train ourselves. How do you train yourself??? It's doesn't say the spirit will do it. That is the problem people think they don't choose or have any control. You control yourself as well. The Bible even says workout your own salvation. It doesn't say the Holy Spirit will do it for you. Just like going to work God wake me up it's a choice to go to work. I don't ask God to put my clothes on and make me go to work. You are responsible for yourself and choices even in God. There is no such thing as you can't do anything on your own. Somethings we need God to take away. Somethings is not going to happen in life unless you have discipline or self-control. You are responsible for yourself and your choices. God and the Holy Spirit job is to make us aware but it is up to us to follow. For example the Bible says thou shalt not steal. You have been made aware by God through the Bible not to steal. You can disobey the Bible and steal anyway. I can't keep stealing and say I'm waiting for the Holy Spirit and God to change me and stop me from stealing. Another example is thou shall not murder. I can't murder people and say I'm waiting for God and the Holy Spirit to stop me from murdering people. I have to honor my mother and father because the Bible says so. Sometimes I don't want to but since I made a choice to follow the Bible I got to do it. There are times we not going to feel like doing the right thing or doing things the way God want to do it. We have to have self-control and discipline and do it anyway. We get convicted when know not to do something but yet we do it anyway. That is how the Holy Spirit corrects. Holy Spirit corrects us when know better or God made us aware and we ignore him. The Bible is about reading and enforcing the scripture too. James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. We have to make a choice to do it its not God job to make us obey.

1 John 3:9 and the translations that state "practice sin" are twisting scripture to fit there theological framework. That's not what the passage says. The word used means “to not commit one act of sin” (DOTH = poiew). The Strong’s website gave the opposite of the word. The words opposite meant “to practice sin” (prassw). Therefore the Greek word in 3:9 does NOT mean to continually practice sin. As a result, the KJV gets this right! We also know that the carnal church of Corinth did more than practice sin and they were saved.

Jesus came not to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. He also taught that if we love Him, we'll keep His commands and also that we must keep His commands and do the Will of the Father in order to inherit the Kingdom. Sure, we can twist ourselves in pretzels to try to say that He didn't mean what He meant, but thing is, it's far better to live your life as though we need to live a good life and find out that we were covered than to live thinking we could do as we please and find out otherwise.
Now, we all fall short. God knows we will and He forgives. However, we still have to strive to be holy as God is holy. Also, no unclean thing can enter Heaven. Soooo we can't sin with impunity and think we're going to Heaven to an infinitely Holy God. Be blessed.

The problem with this type of teaching is that in essence it's telling everybody that despite Jesus humbling himself by taking on flesh and blood, suffering at the hands of his own creation, shedding his own blood for the atonement for our sins that it really didn't mean anything. Jesus died in vain because no matter what, we are all sinners. In other words, God is Almighty except when it comes to taking away our sins. So, how are you saved and what are you saved from?
Isaiah 59:1-2 (KJV) Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Matthew 1:21-23 (KJV) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
John 8:34-36 (KJV) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
2 Peter 2:18-22 (KJV) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
1 Corinthians 15:33-34 (KJV) Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ didn't die in vain but freed the true believers from sin and death.
Isaiah 53:11 (KJV) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The one who PRACTICES sin.. To practice means to perform (an activity) or exercise (a skill) repeatedly or REGULARLY in order to improve or maintain one's proficiency.
This isn't about a numerical value, but more so a person who practices it makes a habit and a lifestyle. It's continual.
This is also why once saved always saved isn't accurate. You must practice and live holy. If we go on sinning willfully after we have the knowledge of truth, there is no more sacrifice. The Holy Spirit gives you the ability, but he does not disregard free will. Everyone is tempted, but God gives us the ability to overcome if do the work.

Dead to Sin, Alive to God
    (2 Corinthians 4:7-18)
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

This can be tricky because it could be what a person is thinking on a regular basis that could be living in sin. We look at the senses or outward appearance to determine what we think is sin. Scripture lets us know by looking at the very first sin in by humanity, that sin is simply disobeying God.

    2:4

This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is LIGHT, and IN HIM is no darkness at all.

    2:6
IF we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

IF (change of infuses) we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
    2:9
IF (change of infuses) we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
    2:10
IF (change of infuses) If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and His word is not in us.

No one who abides in him sins; No one who sins has either seen Him or known Him.

Those who have been born of God do not sin, because they cannot sin, because they have been born of God. 10. The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way; all who do NOT do what is right are NOT from God, nor are those who do not love their bothers and sisters.

However, we are not to let anger last beyond the day (Ephesians 4:26); (2) While a Christian may not be able to "live in sin," the Bible suggests that even a true Christian that had the Holy Ghost can apparently "fall away" resulting in hell. You can never come to perfection believing a lie. The blood of Christ is not the same as the blood of bulls and goats. You need Jesus to live a life free from sin. Everybody understands by one man Adam, we were all made sinners but no one wants to believe or know by one man Jesus, all were made righteousness of whom have faith to believe in the purpose of the Son of God.
Romans 5:19 (KJV) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Hebrews 10:26-29 (KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
John 1:12-13 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 15:5 (KJV) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
    Hebrews 9:11-14 (KJV) But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 10:1-4 (KJV) For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Hebrews 10:14 (KJV) For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 2:9-11 (KJV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

17 *Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me*

    It is possible to live a life free from sin. But as the scriptures say, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If all you hear is so-called preachers telling you that you have to sin even though you are supposedly saved and born again then that will be your faith. But Jesus never preached that if you believe on him that you will still be a sinner. John 8:31-36 (KJV) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Most of them do. .Every time Protestants attack the Catholic Church, they are committing grave sins and are losing their salvation. The same when they criticize the Virgin Mary.
The definition of sin----Sin is an offence against God as well as a fault against reason, truth,, and right conscience. Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God. In judging the gravity of sin, it is customary to distinguish between mortal and venial sins.
The Church(Body of Christ) is the sinless one, made up of sinners.
By Baptism all sins are forgiven, original sin and all personal sins as well as all punishment for sin. In those who have been reborn nothing remains that would impede their entry into heaven, neither Adam's sin, nor personal sin, nor the consequences of sin, the gravest of which is separation from God.
Yet certain temporal consequences of sin remain in the baptised, such as suffering, illness. death, and such frailties inherent in life as weakness of character, and so on, as well as an inclination to sin that Tradition calls "concupiscence", or metaphorically , the "tinder for sin"
Since concupiscence is left for us to wrestle with, it cannot harm those who do not consent but manfully resit it by the grace of Jesus Christ.
It is not the number of times a person sins, but the gravity of the sin committed. It only takes one grave sin without repentance, to be separated from God forever, as apposed to, 100 lesser sins. which do not send you to hell.

Sin is not the problem if you placed your faith in the blood of Jesus. Christ died for our sins. We are justified by his blood Rom 3:25 The Bible says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We all live in sin everyday. We're born a sinner. Point people to Jesus and faith in his blood for salvation. And stick with the kjv bible. Other versions are corrupt and missing thousands of words.
Also on the the scripture in John He who is born of God does not sin is referring to the the inner man "his seed remains in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. That's not taking about the flesh. But the holy Spirit.

    • @tekone11
      @tekone11 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I don't agree with Corey's assessment of the scriptures but how you used the scriptures in your comment is wrong also. If you are born again, how are you still a sinner? Before Christ came we were all in bondage to sin and alienated from from God. But now that Christ has come and given us the opportunity to obtain salvation through his blood, through his death and resurrection, being baptized into the name of Christ and putting on Christ; How can you say that you are still a sinner? They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Galatians 5: 24-25). Sin is the problem, which is why Christ had to come. Sin is what separated us from God. (Isaiah 59:1-4). Now through you picking up your cross by the faith of Christ, you must present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1-2).
Also, Paul says planning in (Romans 6:12), "Let not sin therefore reign in your MORTAL BODY, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof."
So the flesh, of itself, can't live without sin, except the Holy Ghost, the seed, be in you to crucify it.
"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." (Romans 8:10).
"Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Corinthians 15:34).
"Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:" (Colossians 3:5)
"Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our MORTAL FLESH." (2 Corinthians 4:10-11).
So 1John 3:9 isn't just talking about the inner man, it's taking about you becoming a new creature in Christ.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17).
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." (Galatians 6:15)
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
""Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

sorry but what you just said made no sense ...roman 8 was not about paul sinning ... it was an example he was showing to not live by the desire of the flesh ... because the desire of the flesh is to do sin but the desire of the spirit is to do good ... paul being alive use the example of you being dead in this world because while you are dead you no longer are sinning for dead man can not sin ... in the book of romans paul is trying to explain that with the law or without the law we will be judge by christ for the sins we did and if we will be forgiven for the sins have mercy from god ... roman 3 should had told you that ... in the book of roman paul is telling time and time again not to sin ... the more you sin the farther away you are from god ... the just should live by faith ... just is a righteous person... what us the faith of paul? ... that at christ coming that he will be raise by god ... god died for our past sins so we should not live in sin ... how do we not live in sin? ... by the commandment that christ gave us to love one another ... with love we do not sin against anyone ... with love we forgive everyone ... for love is the fulfillment of the law

Just watched Corey's explanation as to why Judas was not saved because he never had the Spirit. Now there are no contradictions in the scriptures but there are in Corey's explanation as to why he believes Christians can and do sin. Here is the contradiction and blasphemy: Judas didn't have the Spirit and betrayed Christ but Christians who are supposedly saved and have the Spirit can and will transgress the word of God with the very Spirit that Judas didn't have according to Corey, not the scriptures. When you say you have the Spirit of God and you still sin then you are charging God’s Spirit with sin or uncleaness. That is the definition of blasphemy and no better than Judas.
Matthew 7:16-23 (KJV) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 12:31-33 (KJV) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Galatians 2:17-18 (KJV) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
Mark 14:21 (KJV) The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
2 Peter 2:20-22 (KJV) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Just goes to show once saved always saved is a myth not founded in the scriptures. Just have faith that Jesus can keep you from sin by you picking up your cross but you have to hear truth being preached, not a lie.
John 8:10-12 (KJV) When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and SIN NO MORE.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Okay so would you say that John had the Holy Spirit? And Peter also had the Holy Spirit since you also want to quote him? What about what happened to Peter in Galatians 2? Paul writes that Peter (even though he has the Holy Spirit) wasn’t walking in the TRUTH of the gospel leading many astray with his hypocrisy. Also you want to quote John but read what happens to him in revelation 22:8-9? John even though Jesus appears to him and then the Angel shows him shows him all these things what does he do? He commits idolatry by bowing down and worshiping the Angel. Also if you say once saved always saved is a myth then explain 1 Corinthians 5:1-5

    • @tekone11
      @tekone11 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Brother_Kevin So you want to condemn the righteous to prove the lie and the myth of "once saved always saved". Who told you that you were saved?
By the tone of your response I know that you're not saved and the Lord knows that you're not saved:
Proverbs 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Matthew 12:34-37 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a LIE: That they all might be DAMNED who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
What would you know about the TRUTH of the gospel being that you want to exaggerate your so-called points by condemning elders and dignities; which is something angels won't even dare to do.
Jude 1:8-10 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Now to answer your question, the explanation to 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 is:
1 John 5:16-18 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
      Also, the Lord himself said:
John 20:22-23 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
You are not saved just because you think you're saved, especially if you commit a SIN unto death. Where is your proof that you are saved? There isn't anything about "once saved always saved" in 1 Corinthians 5:1-5.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? IF any man defile the temple of God, him shall God DESTROY; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Jeremiah 7:8-12 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
Now show me the scriptures that say, "once saved always saved" because the Word of God says this:
Ezekiel 3:20-21 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 18:24-26 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
Ezekiel 33:12-13 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
Romans 11:21-22 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Hebrews 10:26-31 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Hebrews 10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Hebrews 12:14-17 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
1 Peter 4:17-18 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

      @@Brother_Kevin It's actually amazing that now you want to quote Peter, whom you accused of hypocrisy, about Paul writings being hard to understand. The same Paul that said in;
Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
      I believe in defending the gospel and my brethren that were before me. I guess you don't know the difference between condemnation and a rebuke. That was a well desired rebuke that I gave you. You falsely accused Peter of leading the brethren astray and John of idolatry. So who is the one using scriptures out of context. But Jesus said in;
John 3:17-21 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Paul also said:
2 Corinthians 4:1-4 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Titus 1:13-16 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

@@tekone11 what you said to me wasn’t a rebuke, it was condemnation because who are you? You don’t even know my heart or my intentions but you assume, from the beginning all I did was bring up points and question your understanding and what did you do? Accuse me of things that are not true and go as far as to say I’m not saved, it amazes me how God works because let God be true and every man a liar , read Galatians 2 and pay close attention to what Paul says Peter did. Again read Galatians 2:11-14 you can read the whole chapter if you want, it’s better to so you can understand the context. But it happened. Peter was leading people away from the truth of the gospel, maybe my choice of world of leading astray weren’t 100% accurate but again they were not walking in the TRUTH of the gospel, and if you’re not walking in truth then by definition you’re walking in falsehood, read Galatians 2:14 and tell me that is not the definition of hypocrisy? I only used Peter and John as examples to show that even though we have the Holy Spirit, we are still capable of sinning or if you wanna sugarcoat it then we are still capable of falling short. We all gonna mess up, again look at what Peter did in Galatians 2 and then read what John did in Revelation 22:8-9 he literally committed idolatry by worshipping the Angel and the Angel told him to get up and not to do that because he is just a fellow servant as well. So to be clear I didn’t accuse them, if you just read the scriptures I quoted you will see that it’s what they did, not just some accusation with no proof, the proof is in the word of God.

It's apparent that he doesn't have faith in the operation of God in cutting off the body of sin through the baptism into the death of Christ and resurrecting into the newest of life. Corey's understanding of the scriptures is just as bad as Gino's.
