Another great video. Thanks for taking the time to talk through your sets and why you set them that way. It seems like you have some great water trapping country there. Best of luck in the next season and keep the videos coming.
Great video as always and great information shared. Will get at it in about 2 months. Cant wait. Went to your great state this summer for a holiday in the Duluth area and loved it.
Hey friends just a heads up this video was erased from my page and now reuploaded because You Tube put an age restriction on my video and it basically couldn't be viewed.
nick14zup Lat year I ended up with 364 beaver this year I didn't get a chance to spring trap but pulled around 170 in fall and winter trapping. Thanks for watching =)
330 MaNiaC Why did you have to re-upload the video? It's been a week or 2 since I've been on here so I probably missed seeing it the first time. Good video none the less.
Shawn Andera It's been on You Tube for 2 years and had almost 150,000 views and then You Tube decided to Flag it to restricted viewers. Nobody under 18 and you have to be logged into a you tube acc to view it. It killed all it's views basically.
My first beaver I ever caught was getting very dirty so I washed it and it was all ready dried so after I washed it I put it back on a board and when I pulled it of the fur had a very Dirty felling and when I ran my hand down the fur instead of sliding right down the soft fur my hand kind of stuck and it felt sticky do you know what caused it to be like that
Good gosh no Don. They are a pest here in minnesota and the DNR actually pays trappers like me to trap them to keep their numbers down. so do private partys. Just do a google search on it
I'm not a hater of this but how many young do the Beaver have each year do you ever clean them out completely because you said you caught them in there last year.
GuttaSnipe You can trap a beaver pond out in a year but with the number of beaver we have around here more will move into the pond the following year. beaver have an average of 5 young ones per year.
+Tijger T These animals are not in danger of extinction whatsoever. They are a very large nuisance where I live. The state and the county have to pay people To trap them because there are so many
+Nauman Khan I worked in a packing house in Winnipeg Manitoba ,it was called Canada Packers ,it"s now Maple leaf foods and we killed 2400 pigs and 1200 cows everyday,I never got sad.
News flash: These beavers are going to get killed, no matter what. Theyll get killed by predators, winter, hunger or trappers. This man is feeding and providing for his family with these beavers
+330 MaNiaC Understood bro so sorry. Btw watched ur vids for like 5 hr straight! you inspired me :D I think i will quit this cooperate world soon and go live near the forest.
I have a great job. Problem is their population keeps exploding and they need to be thinned down. Many people thank me for what I do because if it wasn't for me thousands of these critters would die a long horrible death from sickness. Thats what happens with overpopulation.
beavers were introduced to the Patagonia region in South America where they are not native and have no known predators - they are really fucking up the forests down there, it's a huge problem and they are looking for trappers like you to help. Could be a good excuse for a vacation
Alley McReal here you are chiming in and you obviously know nothing about beaver or their population here in Minnesota I'm guessing. did you even make an attempt find out online?? no I'm guessing that. try looking up how much of a nuisance Beaver are here in Minnesota and you'll find your answer
I can respect your answere. When I saw your video with all those dead beavers, it was just a little disturbing. You know you can relocate them. I'm not sure how easy that is to do though.
Alley McReal it's not hard to do but the problem is here where I live no matter where you relocate them too they will be a problem for someone else unless they are taken out of state. But that would cost way to much money to do and there are way to many Beaver to try it
Love your videos. Very instructional.
+Steve Sloan Thank you Steve
Hey Scotty, this is still one of my favorite beaver trapping videos!
Todd Wittenmyer Thanks Todd I just wish I didn't have to erase the orignal vidoe and reupload it.
Wow! That beaver at the 6:00 mark is huge
Another great video. Thanks for taking the time to talk through your sets and why you set them that way. It seems like you have some great water trapping country there. Best of luck in the next season and keep the videos coming.

When you trap April and may ( if you do ) do the beavers still have there under fur that late in the year
Andy sheldon They do but most of the beaver have rubbed off spots on their pelts by then and are worth little
Awesome video with a lot of great catches and tips! What was your season total?
nick14zup Lat year I ended up with 364 beaver this year I didn't get a chance to spring trap but pulled around 170 in fall and winter trapping. Thanks for watching =)
Do u dispatch them by shooting them in the head or lungs
The trap dispatches them
Where can you sell the whole beavers? Will butchers take them?
no a fur buyer buys them from me.
Excellent video and by far the best on the Tube...Sucks you had to reload it brother...Hope all is good...
Heith Gagnon Thanks Pal! Things are looking up thanks for all your support!

I like how northerners say crik not creek
What's this "creek" you keep talking about?
I think it funny how they say it ! Lol !
👍👍👍👍👍👍

Drinking game. Everytime he says Creek take a shot of Jim Beam 🐹
Isn't it illegal to trap and kill beavers? If so, how do you get around that?
there's a trapping season for all kinds just check your regulations and call DNR
Good gosh no Don. They are a pest here in minnesota and the DNR actually pays trappers like me to trap them to keep their numbers down. so do private partys. Just do a google search on it
Don Herrick lol nope
I'm not a hater of this but how many young do the Beaver have each year do you ever clean them out completely because you said you caught them in there last year.

What part do you eat? Do you also skin and sell the fur?
Harry Fischer I generally eat the home quarters and the backstraps
Got my first 330 conibear set out back of my place in a pond. with a castor mound set. let's see what happens. Great vids!!
do people eat beavers? have you ever eaten a beaver?
Dylan Macisaac yes they are very good eating and organic meat
what would be the closest meat it takes to? is it gamey like deer or moose?
Dylan Macisaac I would say it resembles beef. I soak the meat in a salt water brine and it takes a lot of the gaminess out
+Dylan Macisaac of course. Who doesn't?
They taste just like a pot roast. They smell funky though
small beaver lol lol lol lol lol lol
+Oliver S. Any beaver is a good beaver =D lol
true
he say's crik not creek
If these cute animal is in danger of extinction, people like you should be responsible for that, you can probably relocate them to somewhere else
+Tijger T These animals are not in danger of extinction whatsoever. They are a very large nuisance where I live. The state and the county have to pay people To trap them because there are so many
i know its legal and you support your family, but its sad to see wild animals getting killed.
Nauman Khan oh shut up stupid !
Young lady, you're doing a pretty good job of video recording, but STOP SNIFFING! Thanks in advance.
WHY U KILLING ALL THESE ANIMALS?!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sell the fur for money to pay bills and my family consumes the meat for food.
+330 MaNiaC Understood bro so sorry. Btw watched ur vids for like 5 hr straight! you inspired me :D I think i will quit this cooperate world soon and go live near the forest.
+330 MaNiaC Btw go abit slow on the beavers man they are good for the eco system :)
I have a great job. Problem is their population keeps exploding and they need to be thinned down. Many people thank me for what I do because if it wasn't for me thousands of these critters would die a long horrible death from sickness. Thats what happens with overpopulation.

I second the last question, why are you killing these beavers? Lame!!
Alley McReal here you are chiming in and you obviously know nothing about beaver or their population here in Minnesota I'm guessing. did you even make an attempt find out online?? no I'm guessing that. try looking up how much of a nuisance Beaver are here in Minnesota and you'll find your answer
Alley McReal I like how all these people that know nothing about the outdoors talk about it like they actually know something
But that would cost way to much money to do and there are way to many Beaver to try it
330 MaNiaC I see, 😒.
