This book is awesome if you're thinking of making some cool stuff for your garden. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- It has tons of plans for all kinds of things, like storage sheds, picnic tables, single garage plans, dog kennels, and garden swings. I'm hooked on this book forever. Thanks, Ryan! There's so much content in these Shed Plans. It's amazing! For long-term service, it seems like it's worth spending a bit more money. Ryan, you're so generous to share all this info with us, and at such a low price.
Getting Howard and the guys to build the timber frame may be a big added expense but it’s worth it because you’ll get done in a month what would have taken you a year and even then you probably couldn’t do it alone with the size of the timbers. It’s looking amazing so far.
Kris, I'm always sooooo impressed with your work man. You have so much talent, especially when it comes to carpentry and other trade skills. I know you're working with a crew that is helping you get it done n all but you guys are doing some absolutely amazing work. I really can't wait til this project is completed and you have your barn all done. I remember when I first started watching your videos. Right away I was simply blown away by so many things. You started living in a tent... now you have the roundhouse, the out house / shower, timber framed spring fed green house, your own solar power panels, that amazing earthbag dual work shop... You're raising animals, and also built all the housing for them.. I only listed a few things but you my friend, are a VERY determined, smart and crafty individual. I really can't put into words how impressed I, and I'm assuming so many others are, by all this amazing work you've done.... I'm a big Kris Harbour fan lol Keep on grinding out the hard work my brother... so amazing Kris Big supporter from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 Jeff Deming 😀
So nice to see the process of your barn project. Massive kudos to all involved. Looks amazing and can't wait to see you all put the lincoln logs together!! 💖🎶
Kris, love seeing the posts on a frequent basis. Absolutely love having my morning coffee and checking in on your barn process. Absolute wonderful bloke
Hello Kris and team, Watching the video you can see the joy and sparkles in your eyes. Anyone can tell you really enjoy it. This carries over into the way you create the video. Cool, thanks
Unreal the level of detail and old world joinery that we know has stood for 100s of years. Your barn will be around to tell many stories. Amazing work by those skilled craftsman. You have got to be extremely proud! Enjoyed it Kris.... Cheers from the Midwest USA.
I love these big build vids, the crafts and skills on display are awesome! and the craftsmen so obviously passionate about what they do. What a treat for the Easter weekend,.... Thanks everyone!
The craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding, very very impressive, an absolute pleasure to watch true masters of their trade at work, thank you for sharing this with us all
out of all the you tubers i subscribe to kris 's are the only ones i never fast forward . always easy to understand and interesting. i think you could make a video of mowing your lawns and it would be a good watch. thanks kris and keep up the good work.
Absolutely Brilliant, would not think watching peole cut joints in wood could be so mesmerising, I think its the craftsmanship atmosphere, attitude and team work of you all. Maybe a short piece about the guys and thier business would be interesting. Brilliant cheers.
Congrats Kris on 500k subs. I can’t recall one time you asking for your viewers to like, share, and sub. Your amazing skills, and humble nature are are why I, and so many others, keep coming back for more. I can’t wait to see this barn project completed! Keep up the great work. Stay safe
👍👏👌 Sturdy as can be! 2) The natural curved braces look even better than the straight ones. The organic look of nearly all your former buildings is definitely what I like very, very much. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved life forms (humans and animals).
There are not many videos on youtube I'm looking forward to. But yours are among them. I can't wait to see the construction. The wall modules look amazing. Nice work!
I like how you're respectful, thankful, and humble around these guys. You have such great ability in so many things, but recognize the skills of and defer to masters of this particular craft. It highlights why your style appeals to me. You're capable but not arrogant. That's hard to find. You picked a great crew to do this work for/with you. Nice job.
Watching the walls come together really puts the scale into perspective. What a monster! Those carpenters deserve applause too. The easy way they work speaks volumes about their expertise.
Thank you for your vision and respect for the quality of t he workmanship and hard work from you all.its so nice to see something being hand built using modern tools to get old world ,quality and old world looks.carnt wait to see it up . enjoying the process and progress on the barn.😉😉
I dunno why I find this so much more thrilling than say, sending a rocket to mars! If you are the apprentice round there, the skillset of the team you are working with must be just stratospheric! The rebuilding of Notre Dame de Paris springs to mind!

just wanted to say how glad i am that your channel has been doing so well and to be able to learn from your building projects. much love to you and everyone helping with this project. stay safe and cant wait for the next videos.
You really want that barn to last a couple of hunderd years . Think you and the boys doing a fantastic job on the construction side of it like it very much well done
This is an amazing build of massive proportions!! This structure looks like it would last many generations! Amazing work by all so interesting to see how it all goes together!!
Was truly impressed with the work and effort gone into building these frames, right to the end when you explained that the next step is to repeat the whole process with the same posts for the cross framing, and the complexity of the job made my head explode 😂 brilliant stuff Kris, always enjoy watching your work!
Im glad to see you found a crew of experienced timber framers to help you get the framing all fitted and joined. I cant imagine how long the process would have taken had you done it alone. Im sure you could have tackled it yourself but looking at the knowledge this crew had Im sure you are completely satisfied at the craftsmanship of their work. Looking awesome cant wait to the barn raising day. Ive seen lots of 150 year old pictures of barn raising in the US and it involved hundreds of helpers with ropes etc.
This is good stuff, lifts my mood just by watching you work 😂 But seriously, watching young people craft sustainable materials in a beautiful way, that’s good for the soul!
Beautiful timber framing! Much dmiration for you and Dot. Your ingenuity, self reliance and hard work are second to none. You have our respect. from your friends here in the USA.! Tom

i've watched some boat building and find it incredible, all the maths behind it, attention to detail, the love that goes into it, but when i normally consider building structures, with bulk standard mortis and tenant joints, you rarely consider the effort gone into them, in this video we clearly see a dedicated team paying special attention to the most minute details of making it all look so right, every joint fitting so snugly, and not forgetting that when it looks right it will last forever i remember when i used to visit the family friends farm as a kid, the outbuilding seemed so rough, the beams had aged over hundreds of years and still stand today, and the joints often seemed to have such huge gaps, i wonder if back then they took as much care as we might today, and i often see in programs such as Kevin McCloud's tv series, how such dying trades have become so much more specialised in their dedicated subjects - and i think the use of modern tooling such as mortis cutters have made a massive difference, i know when i have cut them how much effort goes into it and making them look right
Awesome work - can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing craftsmanship of this kind, and a timberframe building on this scale is so exciting to see come together.
Kris, I am really enjoying this awesome build process. Watching all you skilled artists makes wish I was 40 years younger so as to learn this skill. Thanks for sharing these videos 👍👍👍👍👍😺🫠🐺🇺🇸
This crew really knows how to cut and assemble timber frames. It is a pleasure to watch them work.

They have medieval skills with the benefit of modern tools and that’s a winning combination Kris, this is the best vid so far IMO, loving it 👍🏴

Part of the reason why I like curved knees is that they are out of the way and not being awkward
Massive timbers, huge tools and joinery but still put together like a piece of furniture. This building will outlast us all, great job!
So nice to see the process of your barn project. Massive kudos to all involved. Looks amazing and can't wait to see you all put the lincoln logs together!! 💖🎶
