I’m a Kentucky fan, and this hurts my heart, as a FOOTBALL fan to see. Oregon got absolutely robbed. What should’ve been 31-7 turns into 24-14. Brutal. No excuse to blow that call. None whatsoever.

Seeing the play again, sure. His foot hits the pylon. The pylon is “technically” Out of bounds. The ball was not at the goal line. I bet even most refs think the pylon is part of the goal line. The kid scored. It’s a game where there are ridiculous rules. Imaginary goal lines. A few weeks ago, a Gators kicker hit a FG that was called no good because the entire ball has to be inside the post, and his kick was over the post. I felt guilty about it, because my team took advantage of the rule. I still think it probably should’ve counted. Yes. Ducks should’ve still taken the ball and gotten in. They choked the game away. Looks like LOTS of Stanford fans are defensive as Hell about this. Keep rationalizing the call. Whatever helps ya sleep at night. If this had happened to my team, and we got away with that call and won, like Stanford did, I’d feel guilty as Hell. Ducks lost this game. Stanford just took advantage.
this one is different. stanford had a timeout. even if Oregon takes a knee on 2nd down, stanford takes a timeout, and there's still about 55 seconds left. so Oregon takes a knee on 3rd down and runs off more clock. now there's about 13 seconds left, and it's 4th down. almost all teams would run in this situation, considering it was only 2nd and 3, and oregon was in stanford territory. i actually came here to see for myself if cristobal had repeated his catastrophic mistake, but i was mislead by people sensationalizing this game. glad i saw for myself
Everyone who is here to pile on Cristobal after Miami blew the game against GT cannot do simple math. the overwhelming majority of teams would do the same thing as Cristobal and run on 2nd & 3. STANFORD HAD A TIMEOUT. if oregon doesn't fumble, they call the TO w/ about 55 seconds, and now it's 3rd down. kneel down + maximum time milked off, now it's 4th w/ about 12 seconds to go, and oregon has to either punt, FG, or try to burn 12 seconds in 1 play. that is an ENTIRELY different situation than what happened against GT, in which the clock goes to zero if miami kneels down one more time

I didn’t see this game.. but, from these highlights, Ducks scored on the play at the 4:12 mark. Refs cheated them. They were cheated on a spot of the ball after a play also. Unbelievable
So that means it’s okay to for the refs to mess up all those calls? If they called those pass interference calls and got that TD call right that would’ve been game over.
The TD they overturned was the right call though! The pylon is out of bounds. His foot touched the pylon before the ball had crossed the goal line. I didn't like the call either, but you can't argue with it being the correct call.
