Were they were like any other group that is striving to get their first win.

That time, they all still school. sowon graduate a year before debut. Yerin last year of school, Yuju and Eunha 2nd year of high school, umji and sinb first year of high school

*Seeing how they improved throughout the years makes me teary-eyed. I'm not with them when they debuted. I didn't have the chance to depend them on criticisms and hates. But why do I feel so nostalgic? See how Yuju strive hard and now make her best main vocals of new gen, see how Eunha getting the recognition she deserve and not just being overpowered by Yuju and has childish voice, see how Sowon improved from the worst vocals and now her confidence is rising even she barely got lines and her dance skills is pretty much showing, see how SinB's voice and dance improved throughout the year without even showcasing that much but you can easily pinpoint she is the main dancer and third on vocal line, see how Yerin improve in her vocals even she lacks training and even SouMu didn't showcase her dancing ability yet we all knew she's still recovering, see how our baby maknae Umji show the world she gains confidence and no doubt she improved in her dancing and of course her soothing voice that we all love and getting the recognition she truly deserves after all the bullying she receives. See how these rookie girls who came from a broke company with poor outfits and practicing on basement, who received so much criticisms and mockery and always the target of bandwagon hates became the top 3 ggs of new gen. See how far their hardworks, dedication, passion and discipline leads them. See how they pay the debt of their company, how they renovate their company building, new dorm, new outfits yet staying humble through these success. See how this group called FLOP in any other way, stans would drag them but instead of backing down, they held their chin up that they can be on top. They may look like a clear GLASS BEAD, they won't break easily. How they always remind us that FROM TODAY ONWARDS, they would work for us. Years passed may be ROUGH, but they fly like a NAVILLERA. They aim at their FINGERTIP the hearts of general public, how Buddies screams their love and support instead of LOVE WHISPER. How they thank every Buddies who love and support us like a SUMMER RAIN. During their debut times, all I really cared about was their visuals. I only like their faces that time, I even have them as the wallpaper of my Desktop. But now, I love them so much, not just visuals, I love everything about them now.

I am a sone but instead of hating them for copying our legendary girl group, why won't we feel so proud of our girls because every girl group who debut used them as inspiration and model. Like Apink, they get recognize because they choose to follow snsd footsteps unlike having a sexy, dark concepts during debut days. And now they succeed prove that snsd "genre" is so effective. Even me, if ever I would be handle an agency, I will choose to make a girl group having a role model of snsd. So stop comparing a queen to rookie. Because your queens is been a rookie before and been bashed like what's going on here. I was looking for another idols that match my taste in music and out of many rookies in 2014 and 2015, my heart goes to GFriend. I was already their fan before GFriend's fandom officially called Buddy
So, I am Buddy and I'm proud to be Buddy 😊💖
And to my previous bias, I still support her even though I'm not a part of her fandom. I just still love her 😊

yes they remind me snsd into the new world. But it's not bad think. They back me one of the best memories, best snsd album too. I think Gfriend might be really big and amazing group. People should just calm and let them shine. Snsd are matured womans now so they can't back to this days. And kpop need fresh air like this groups. There so many cute and sexy groups. Gdriend are just really innocent, friendly-kind group that back me to 2002-2007 year when kpop was different then all music in us or Europe.

And G Friend get attention is also becuz one member look like Jessica and related to SNSD too right ?? Well not Just Lovelyz and Sonamoo. Everybody. If people wanna love them or stand they love them
But the two you have mentioned, Lovelyz and Sonamoo are not even a HIT yet. They haven't even won or achieved anything with their debut. Maybe they do have recognition because as you said they are from a slightly known company but they are not yet a HIT or even a TRENDING GROUP. They have a lot to work hard for same as this group.
So...what's your point? People don't just like those two groups because of the companies their from. The reality is that because a company has a group that is already know, when they create a group, more people will automatically get to see that group and therefore a higher chance that more people become fans. This group has to start from scratch and that's the unfortunate reality but, that's life.
Honestly, I kinda liked these girls but, I can already see myself being frustrated with their fandom, insulting and bringing up groups that honestly have nothing to do with the group instead of just enjoying their success.

I can't be the only one coming back to watch this. I suddenly felt like getting emotional and decided to come here lol even though they weren't the most stable they still had enough courage to actually sing live and that's what makes good performers. Image debuting and immediately singing live while dancing. And look at them now much more capable at doing what they do best
