@@chrisparkin431 I've used infiray before and it was rather good. Steiner is a solid brand in whatever they make and have been designing thermals for the military for a while now. It has a longer detection range but loses out to weight and battery removal. Where I hunt I need to have longer detection range. PARD looks really good just not to sure what it would be like at distance. Thoughts?
Just purchased one last week. Got it within 2 days of ordering I ordered the ta32-25 384 Iv hunted with it twice now and love it. Got it due to the lower price. Compared to my buddy’s pulsar helicon 384 they are about the same. I will say I like the pulsar color options better but on white hot, black hot, and the rainbow they are dang near identical Being able to take this battery out and change it is nice. These batteries are cheap and easy to find type c charging cable able to charge through the scanner or with a external charger The pulsar takes the pulsar batteries of the charging chord goes bad ur stuck buying a pulsar chord vs a cheap type c charging cable All in all I’m absolutely happy with this scanner
In certain lighting conditions with contrast set to say 95, does anyone ever see areas that are slightly lighter in the display than others? Just got a new one and noticed this after a couple days. I sent pictures to their support site to see if I can have them check it out. I don't think it's normal since I don't see this on an AGM Rattler I have.
Update, they sent me a new one. Cleaner display but one or two pixels out. Really noticeable mostly in the edge detect mode or if looking at very light background. I'll probably live with it. If I go thermal again, I'll probably go with AGM. I guess thermal sensors are hard to make or at least for who makes them for PARD. My wife would kill me spending cash on this especially spending it on defective hardware... if she knew the price.
WHICH DO YOU PREFER ? PARD OR AGM ? IM NEW AND IM READY TO DROP SOME CASH DOWN BUT JUST NOT SURE ABOUT PARD ,BECAUSE A DEALER TOLD ME THEY DONT CARRY PARD BECAUSE ITS NOT THAT GREAT, AND I REALLY LIKE THE PARD TD 32 .
Looks like a good unit ,nice small and compact image also looks very sharp
Steiner also records videos and downloads on Wi-Fi to your phone and also sends video live to a iPad and can be remotely controlled from your phone.
Sounds to be well built and a very useful small viewer.
What price is it?
How would it compare to the Pulsar Helion pro 2, the Steiner H35 or the infiray? All pretty much the same price roughly
Never heard of the Steiner unit but the other two brands don't often send me kit

@@chrisparkin431 P. S the wifes has given me the ok to buy a thermal but I'm not sure how long that will last when she sees the price lol

No mention of using a Power bank with this?
Well it has a USB-C port and replaceable battery so I assumed people could work it out
