You could even tell in this video how he's just toying with him. Playing super patient and just waiting for one mistake and getting massive punishes just to piss him off. Then at the end he just bodies the shit out of him.
I think he was hoping that LTG would learn to close the distance without pushing buttons randomly. By the fourth match, he got tired of seeing the same mistakes over and over again.
That is embarrassing. Not only is it obvious that Smug was holding back, but looking at how he decided to go off on LTG during the last two matches, Smug was bored even with that.

Dan has done some great things... but not even he can do anything for LTG being that LGT won't take any help unless it was his own idea and even thing he'll correct you on what you know more about then he does

He doesn't even need the loop he just needs better set ups with the aegis. Notice he only don aegis after the target combo which is so predictable and he didnt even do the other variations or even use it as a reversal.
