These are all features that I know of from just opening the settings menu. No hate to this video, but this is all features that you'd only need for specific things, that most users don't have a need for.
A few things spotify should have: 1 - a way to simply shuffle all the songs from more than one artist, because I’m not gonna make a playlist every time I want to listen to some variety. 2 - bring back the song preview by tapping and holding on a song or album. I could find so many new artists like that without having to even lift the finger, now I need to tap each song and scroll to the middle. 3- “playing sessions”. Let’s say I started listing to to playlist or an artist, but I want to finish listening to that latter without repeating what I already listened, and now listen to something else, there should be a way to leave this information saved. 4 - in app stats, showing info like general playtime, by artists and etc. 5 - easier playlist making. Everything takes to many taps and going back and forward
the thing I now hate the most about Spotify is that when it updated back in like march (I think), when i saved individual songs from an album (maybe I only liked a few songs from the album), that album with just the saved songs no longer shows up in the album's tab. Just annoying really

I just want to say, I never had issues with the first feature. I use Google Maps and Spotify together, and seamlessly. I get in my car, load up Spotify and select my music, open Google Maps and set my destination, then my music plays whilst I drive and the navigation chimes in when I have a navigation update. The voice auto cross fades the audio so it's not chopped off, tells me my info clearly, and continues my music seamlessly. All of this was done with no settings changed or anything. Sooo, why are the steps that are shown in the video "tips and tricks"? *Edit* - I want to clarify I use an iPhone 7+, the video shows options on an Android/Google device. The alarm option is not one that I've tried to set up/ or maybe not able to set up on an Apple device.
When she showed the local files on her phone, the songs werent even in there, those were the recommended songs lmao, saving local files from your laptop to your phone is way harder

Regarding shazam, you don't have to download shazam if you have a samsung. Just go to google when you hear the song on another source, select the musical note bottom right and it will tell you the song. scroll down and you can play and save on spotify.

Just use google assistant to listen for songs instead of shazam. If you just open the assistant, it already detects if there's a song playing and you can just click the option "what song is this". Its much simpler than Shazam
If you're on Discord (Computer) with your friend, while you listening music on Spotify (computer app), you'll be able to send the music and listen and share the same music with your friend at the same time with a button on the right of the chat bar (Sorry for my english, I'm Belgian
Google can also let you know what song and artist it's from. Open Google search, hit the mic, and then at the bottom, hit search song. And then Google will listen to the song and bring the results.
Just when I was completely amazed by Spotify I was pleasantly surprised by the latest updates. Now you can play your liked songs by genre, also in the Just For You section they generated custom playlists by genre, decade, and mixes by artists you listen to.
For the lyrics....you need to have musixmatch in ur phone! Spotify connects with it and displays the lyrics below the song which ur playing on Spotify!

Voice option on sptify can be turned on by sptify/ google to listen to Us and track Us while we are listening to music. Great 👍🏼. Nothing is for free people. 🪝 If it’s to good to be true it probably is.
What I like about spotify is even with the free version all of this stuff is in the Palm of your hand even if you don't want to pay the $9 a month you You'll get tons of music and Podcast and stuff and combined with tunein radio I think if they ever bought tunein radio they would literally be the best thing ever

I just wish Spotify would quit freezing/ stopping constantly no matter how good my connection is! I also wish the app was the same on the phone as it is on a pc. My favorite tips are 6 & 7. I wasnt aware of #10 , but will check that out.

This actually works, but it doesn't actually transfer the song to your mobile spotify. You must be on the same WiFi as your PC for the song to appear.

This is great! I love Spotify. Just switched from Apple Music while on an iPhone. The free version is totally worth it.
