Welcome to the ninth week of Camp CrunchLabs, this week we will be having fun with liquid nitrogen! If you haven't joined yet, you can do so here: www.campcrunchlabs.com
By the way, Mark could you make a video of your day. What do you do when you wake up? Are there any healthy habits you follow? What software do you use? Show and tell about your workshop. Do you know any programming language? What books would you recommend to read to become an engineer? Top 15 of your favourite books?
The liquid in the balloon after it was in the liquid nitrogen is not carbon dioxide. CO2 is a solid at those temperature and coats the inside of the balloon. The liquid is liquid oxygen which has a boilng point higher than nitrogen so is liquified first.
Mildly curious about oxygen displacement. I know the atmosphere is already about 80% nitrogen, but that last 20% is pretty vital. I remember there were warnings on dry ice about asphyxiation, but maybe the nitrogen is light enough to not have real problems?
Liquid nitrogen during evaporation can fill up a closed room and keep fresh air from getting in through vents. Hence it's best to keep doors open when pouring LN2.
Hi Mark, this 67 yr old kid always enjoys your videos. The rubber chicken was the best. Just one note, the term penny is so ingrained into our culture I don’t think it’ll ever be stopped. The US mint never made any Pennie’s. A penny is a British slang for a pence. Don’t worry about it, The Price is Right has a penny game. It’s really crazy how many common day words come from different languages. Love your channel. George
I believe that CO2 does not have a liquid state at atmospheric(ish) pressures. It goes directly from gas to solid just the opposite of dry ice going directly to gas. You need significant pressure like in a CO2 fire extinguisher, to have CO2 in a liquid state. Was the liquid actually water from his breath that was condensed by the cold temperatures but did not get cold enough for long enough to freeze? All very fun anyway.
So its 1 box per month, not per week. Correct? Still getting for my son. I told him about this awhile back but now it's more popular and he brought it up to me,like it was new lol. Can't wait

Slayyy❤
9:06 i really thought that mark is gonna make the melted ice-cream into ICE-cream
that's so cool! I love science! this is why I love science, its so fun to learn about the elements, when you doing a cool science experiment!
Nitro ice cream Science rules🎉❤
Эпичный выпуск, со взрывами и хоровым пением! 🥶💥🎶 Спасибо, Марк!
Epic episode, with explosions and choir singing! 🥶💥🎶 Thank you, Mark!
hey i am guessing mark will use liquid nitrogen to destroy camp crunch labs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Mark Rober. In the next 24 months, will you make a squirrel video?
What’s your favorite Olympic sport to watch??
Cool😂
Finally I’m here before an hour
oh cool summer
bdw were those guys serious when they said that the balloon will explode if it comes in contact of liquid nitrogen
Sooo cool
Who has a crunch labs toy
Hi
Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Plant Cell freeze when cooled they become fragile
😮omg😮
Wow
Since the liquid nitrogen is technically boiling, if you put popcorn kernels in there, would they turn into normal popcorn? 🍿
1B 👍
This SOOOO MUCH COOLER than Elephant Toothpaste.
Pun intended......
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I want the ticket!
a "typo" for the rubber chicken, not water vapor, but gaseous nitrogen (at least I think so)
cool
I love you so much ninja kids🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷
Did Mark just deface currency.
Asmar 😮
is liquid helium colder??
best
👍
I am here when there are only 14 comments
