@@AAAAAA-bm9qd I have a feeling Yagami is ultimately what they wanted Tanimura to be doing in later Yakuza games. A detective who steps outside of the rules of the law to expose a conspiracy, who is modeled after a real famous actor is a perfect description for them both.
In the English dub, Akaike actually screams "Stop! Leave me alone" and various other comments in English, giving away that he's more then just your average rubbernecking tourist...
Well, here we go again! Chases are back, and this time, they are a mixture of Judgment and Yakuza 5. You'll chase after your suspect automatically, and you'll use the left stick to dodge obstacles. Your health is constantly draining, and so is your target's. Hitting an obstacle or failing a QTE will cause Yagami to lose health and slow down. Watch the distance meter, as it tells you how close the suspect is to escaping. If the distance meter hits 0, or if Yagami runs out of health, they'll escape, and the game will end. Succeeding a QTE will restore Yagami's health slightly, and collecting Staminan X bottles will restore it by a large amount. In addition, if you come across an object like a ball, move to it and succeed the QTE to make Yagami kick it towards the suspect. A successful hit will cause the suspect to slow down and lose health, but it won't hit if they're too far away, or if they take a turn. Once the suspect's health is depleted, all you have to do is press B/Circle to catch them! Be warned when approaching crossroads. Choose the direction the suspect went in, or you'll lose them instantly. If you're too far away, they may take the turn before you get the chance to see where they went, meaning you'll have to make a guess and hope you're right!
I remember chasing kuwana to this and when he stopped I'm like. "That was easy, thought he'd put-" THIS MOTHERFUCKA RAN AGAIN!!!! "Gawd damn that was a lie"
The chase theme did not need to hit so hard, neither to the following theme, or the styles, or the boss themes, actually this whole game didn't need to hit so hard XD
Only in the animations department (and music I guess lol). It's cooler to see Yagami running on walls and bouncing off trucks but otherwise it's exactly the same. In fact it may be worse because I feel like it tends to last longer and with such mundane 'gameplay' any chase over 10 seconds overstays its welcome.
@@Zexser I'm replaying Lost Judgment and I have to say I was so right, if they take 1 minute max then that's 1 minute too long of this braindead minigame that adds literally nothing to the game. The only time chases have EVER been good in this series was in Ishin where all the bystanders comment on your ASSCHEEKS.
@@Baba-yv6mlman the kuwana chase scenes and even the one with the old dude from the dardstadly detective sub story were great chases. It’s a good mechanic they improved upon and retained the roots the earlier yakuza games did and use to have
While I think that nothing beats "Faster than Lightning" as a chase theme, this one is more noir-ish than the original. Still good, but not at the level of the first one.
Absolutely no reason for a chase theme to slap so fucking righteously, but that's just how RGG rolls
RGG always makes the best songs for a part that lasts like 30 seconds
When do they not slap
@@karumina imo in some of the old games although i do like the rap
Just an RGG thing.
@@Goobert0385that one akiyama song in the rain section that last for 35 seconds max
who doesn't love listening to jazz as you kick soccer balls and buckets at people
1:42 the point where most chase battles end
The great part

For the 1 who decided to put amazing grace at the credits it's no surprise this is so good
I'm 100% surr they use Infinite Handcuffs leitmotif in here
Yeah, but I don't know if that's intentional or just a coincidence.

@@2palms2 that makes sense.
@@2palms2 That and a parry system that is both effective (against both grunts and bosses equally) and fun
Now picturing snake style combos with this music and it fits xD
2:36 BRO AM I PLAYING RISK OF RAIN OR LOST JUDGEMENT GOD DAMN IT HAS NO REASON TO GO SO HARD
Kinda sounds like out of risk of rain to be sure.
This sounds like fight music for tanimura if he was in judgment
Oh my god 2:38 is insane
ikr
Finna bust a fat one with this on 😩
WHAT THE FUCK WHY DOES THIS GO SO HARD WHEN NO ONE HEARS IT
omg its john yakuza
this part make me nostalgic of the Tekken games in PS2 so much
In the English dub, Akaike actually screams "Stop! Leave me alone" and various other comments in English, giving away that he's more then just your average rubbernecking tourist...
Reminds me of the old sonic adventure days so glad SEGA still appreciates good music
Its criminal that you don't get to hear the whole thing in the game...
yeah the targets need more health
@@majima-gaming721oh god NO!!!😂
gives me infinite handcuffs and speedstar vibes
This ost gives me yakuza 4 vibes
Thats probabbly because it has the leitmotif of "Infinite Handcuffs" Tanimuras theme
@@lionelk.y7233 Not to mention Whiskey and Rhapsody, another jazzy theme. I guess given Yakuza 4's noir feel, this would easily work in that game.
I've been looking for this song forever, this might be one of my fave tracks in LJ.
It reminds me Tekken 4
I'VE BEEN LOOKING SO LONG FOR THIS THANK YOU SO MUCH
Same, finally found it
They did it again! This games looks to be a big improvement over the first game. It certainly feels more like it’s own thing this time around 💕
This is way too much of a vibe for chase music
Bruh this shit is gas
Yesss, some jazzy DnB.
Yagami: You won't get away!
Suspect: Get away from me!!
oi chotto
chotto MATTE !!
*le epic rando football kick*
I love the haunting theme this has
“Hey! get back here!”
* "Oi!! Chotto matte!!"
"NOW I'm really feeling it"
(The first chase)
Holy shit this goes way harder than it should for a 1 minute chase sequence
I like how it's went from depressing chase theme like chasing a lost dream (Faster than Lightning) into goofy-ass chase theme like this one...
I love how this sounds
The piano kicking in at 1:42 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for uploading this bro, been looking for this for a while.
Was looking for a rip of this, glad you uploaded
« stop leave me alone »😡
The fact that most people will never hear the second half of this is sad

RGG Studios put their whole Ryu Ga Gotussy into this track (I stole this joke)

"Get the fuck away from me!"
1:36 my favorite part.
Them electric organs
Chotto matte!
The vocals at the start
Yagami: Hold up!
Subway surfer vibes
tfw they wont joto mate
Tanimura
Put this in smt5 and it work way too well as a timed quest theme
"Chotto Mateo!!"
This is really good but I'll always prefer the first game's chase theme
Kinda reminds me of Skullgirls or Rhythm Thief, with some electronic stuff added
Not on Spotify 😭
MATTE!
