This will be the most interesting 1st round playoff series. both teams are feel are evenly matched and it's gonna be who can get the most stops.
I like the kings athletic advantage. They may be able to run the warriors out of the gym.
@@joshhughart289 Kings are like the young version of GS. Mike Brown taught them alot of the GS ball movement, that's why their offense are No. 1 in the NBA.
OFFENSE VS. OFFENSE!
If you like free flowing, unselfish offense, this is the series for you.
Sacramento revolves around Sabonis- shooters flying off his dribble handoffs for threes, or Sabonis playing a two man game with De'Aaron Fox to get him downhill, with those shooters opening space for them. There's also plenty of creative off-ball screening actions to create advantages. You can clearly see the influence Mike Brown's time with the Warriors had on him with some of the sets they run.
The Kings offense will always put points on the board, but Golden State should be able to do a decent job- they can always have length and athleticism on Fox (Wiggins, GPII, DiVincenzo, maybe Dray?) and a smart, physical big (Dray+Looney) on Sabonis. They can go to some switchier small lineups to slow Sacramento's off-ball stuff as well.

I think he knew exactly what he was doing there. He knew the warriors needed a rebound so he figured he would just flop on sabonis and take him out of the play. Absolutely was a foul and a cheap shot in my opinion. He could have easily injured sabonis by flopping on him like that. Green knows he is pretty much useless on offense so he resorts to these kind of plays to try to win. He's done it for years. But the NBA allows it to happen

The Warriors attempted 50 3s in this game. Kings attempted 32. I think Kings might need to address that disparity for game 2 because the math will be hard to overcome if Warriors start knocking them down at over 40% next game. Curry and Klay alone attempted 28 3s. That’s almost as many as entire Kings team. Can’t let that happen. Great win for Kings though.
This is their biggest test just because of how young kings are. If they can hold curry from going for 45 a night they got this.
Curry and Klay were ridiculous..... That's unlikely to happen in Game 2.
No team in the nba shoots over 40% from 3 lol. If the Warriors do that then you just have to give them their props.

That's bs. If you determined to jack up contested three one after another, you'll get your attempts, doesn't mean they are quality looks, doesn't mean you gonna score more. In fact, Monk attack the rim the whole game and Warriors got no answer for it, he ended up with 8/13 and 14/14 ft, that's equivelant to 15/20 if you do the math.

Kings in 5. They played sloppy and still won tonight. Warriors can't keep with fox and monk and don't expect huerter and Murray to both be off on the same night again. Also Sabonis was off as well. Kings play with more heart too.

Great win by the Kings. However, their inexperience shows when they can't clearly use the clock to their advantage. It could have ended differently.
I felt like fox rushed his last two jumpers. If he had kept a cool head with that release it would've been a lot less tighter

Great game, Kings got the job done. The dubs played good too, but I thought it would be too early to have Wiggins playing the final minutes instead of Donte, if people can remember how Donte was drafted, he's clutch. Good looks and opportunities for the dubs, just the shots weren't falling.

The X-factor in this game outcome was Klay. His poor shot selection and getting blown by time after time by fox and monk hurt us bad in the fourth. Look no further than 0:41 Terrible shot by Klay, steve kerr's reaction, monk blown by him like a traffic cone.
I think klay shot another one of those type of shots in the clutch and it needs to stop, horrid looks. Stick with ball movement and let the ball come to you for a catch and shoot

Draymond is such a bum. Sitting on Sabonis and then intentionally falling back on him again in the final moments. Completely took Sabonis out of the play.
