Hi, do you compare the lens for this 2 model CW300 and CW400? i only have CW400 Lens Angle 113° . CW300 no info
@@arco78sg Xiaomi is not stating officially the FOV of CW300. But i suspect it's similar with CW400.

@@garfieldakos by just looking at the specs, Tapo C510w is 3MP 2K and IP65 while the CW300 is 4MP 2.5K amd IP66. Also, Tapo's detection has so many false alarms. The CW300 is quite good in detection aa shown here.

Hey man. Would you rather buy a Cw300 or a C510W ? I can get 3 x C510W for the price of 2 x Cw300. Is the Xiaomi really worth it?
@@eglorious-yt Tapo's C510W is only 3MP, 2K and IP65 while the CW300 of Xiaomi has higher specs. Xiaomi has consistent detection than Tapo cameras and better automation features.

Cw300 izit cant adjust the mic and speaker? I canr found any volume adjustment in the setting
@@andresong90 Speaker and mic on all Xiaomi cameras can't be adjusted.

Actually, maganda naman itong Xiaomi CW300 (basta di lang magluko ang unit mo) since it has good human detection. Although wala itong pet detection. Pero kung outdoor lang, at mas importante sayo ang human detection, then go for the CW300.
Kung gusto mo steady lang, i can reco Tapo 320ws.

Durable naman so far but reliability is a relative word kung saan mo gagamitin

I have this camera and always turn on flash when is night/dark and when detect person. It is not alarm, it's just flashlight, but sound and light alerts are turned off. Is that normal? I can't find option to switch on or off this function.

Hi, I accidentally lost the screws to install the bracket and the camera. May I know what the screw size is?

I had this camera for about 5 months and it worked fine but now all of a sudden i cant watch surveillance events. I do get notifications when motion/person is detecred but when i click on event nothing happens.
Do you know why? Does it work with your camera? I tried everything.
@@ariton2990 it means your free subcription to Mi Secure Cloud program has expired. You need to subscribe to play detected events clip. However, you can just search for that particular clip in the timeline or on the recorded videos on the SDcard.
I have a separate video talking about it.
@@HiTechTaBai but thats the thing. It didnt expire. Im still subbed. Im still paying for subscription every month. Last pay was 4 days ago. Says so in the app as well that subscription is active.

@@HiTechTaBai yeah i am in contact with them. But so far they havent been helpful at all. They keep recommending stuff i already tried like reinstalling app or rebooting camera and stuff like that. Oh well.

@@tehjinj1425 No. Because you're turning off both the detection and push notification.

@@tehjinj1425 No push notification but you can see the list of events detected under Surveillance on the camera viewing page. However, you can't open the clip. You may take note the time stamp of the detected event and look for it on the timeline or SDcard instead.
Master The camera head does not move according to the movement. It does not rotate on its own. Even if I make this setting, it still stays in the middle. What should I do? Thank you. My brother

Does someone know if there is a way to change the wifi that the camera is connected to? I have a Plc but I would like to know if another way exists instead of restoring the camera.
Pairing the camera to a network is like MARRIAGE.
You need DIVORCE first to let it connect to other network.😊

Only 20 fps, every xiaomi camera are 20 fps , not smooth as imou camera 25 fps .

Hi, very good video, how many days the xiaomi cloud save your videos? I had one installed since 20 days and xiaomi delete videos at 0:00 hs every day, I'm afraid what will happen after 3 month I guess wil keep like today, I'm in SouthAmerica, thanks
If you subribe to Xiaomi Home Secure cloud program, it should be unlimited storage with 7-day or 30-day-event history depending on your subscription.

Master, I installed CW300 without microSD card, do I need to format it to Fat32? Since I installed without microSDXC card, do I need to reset the camera before inserting the card? Or do I need to format it after inserting the card while the camera is off?

Hi, regarding connection. I saw two cables, one for electric supply, and another one. Can I use only electrictiy cable, and make wi fi connection with wi fi router, or it must be with cable connected with router. Thanks
Either. As explained in the video, i tried both at a time.
all smart camera/cctv and other xiaomi devices are only supported 2.4ghz wifi connection so your having a hard time to connect the xiaomi devices

@@reikoreygs internet connection mo di stable. Blinking blue means connecting to the router. Steady blue is already connected.

Hi sir, have you encountered times when your camera moves on its own? Mine is always pointing downwards on its own and i have to move the camera orientation everyday.
@@arvinoliverng5654 The camera will move once motion is detected IF you turn on the Motion Detection. However, after moving/tracking the motion, it should go back to its original position as shown in this video.
@@HiTechTaBai human tracking is already disabled. The camera is starting to get useless since it is always pointing to the ground

1. Yes. I think the Mi Home app handles more than a hundred cameras. Although, only 3 can be displayed simultaneously on the app's home page.
2. Yes. All functions of each camera depending on the model are there even without cloud subscription.

@@heinzulrichplagge6444 Let me clarify, based on my experience all my camera were displayed on the home page BUT you can only simultaneously VIEW 3 cams on the page.
So, what you have to do is select up to 3 to view. Whe you tap another cam(4th), one of the three will be off.

Sir ano mas maganda brand Tapo or Xiaomi
So far, sa na-try ko pangit ang detection ng Tapo--daming false alert. But it can improve. I used Tapo C320ws sa outdoor ko at pinaresan ko ng C225 that can detect pets over 90% and alerts me. Yong C320ws, wide yong field of view nya kaya, maganda para outdoor.
Ang Xiaomi CW300 ay effective in detecting human.
In short, depende sa gamit. Walang isang brand na magaling sa lahat.

@@HiTechTaBai when I move to right for example it spins 360 gegree not moving to right...for the left it is the same
@@jijibijito the keys are for manual movement of the camera. I can't think of any reason behind the trouble, except the camera is malfunctioning.

Are you referring to C400? Nope, it only has WDR as shown in this video @8:10

No Xiaomi outdoor camera is supported for now.

Nope. It should connect automatically balik sa Wifi. Di na kailangan mag-set up ulit. Baka marami kang naka-connect sa wifi. Try i-disconnect ang iba at unahin mo yang CW300 sa pag-connect sa router.
